I really want a Harkonnen chair too.My what a phallic spirits optic you have... You'd be very carefull what you drank there though wouldn't you.

Ah gotcha, recognise them but didn't know the name.
30000-50000 dollars, that's at least 10 pounds in real money!
Hope your feeling flush.

You should recognise them from 'Dune'.

I like Dune so probably should, but giger's Harkonnen period was mid 70s wasn't it? So I didn't want to assume too much. Sneaky edit, I prefer plagiarising Nelson myself.

Blade Trinity - Rocks. So what, it may be a poor film in some aspects but I really wasn't paying attention. Any film with vampire dogs, uber (and I seriously mean that) hot chicks and Triple H (wrestling fans only) in has to be good.

I'm not sure if that should make me want to see it or not.
I will at some point though, I liked the other two.

Andyzee I'm not sure if that should make me want to see it or not. I will at some point though, I liked the other two. It's worth it just for the women. That's the only reason I went. Jessica Biel will bare my children yet. whee

I'd lie & say I don't go for famous people. But I have a long standing lust for Drew Barrymore.
But since she has a record of going on drinking binges & ending up either married or arrested, mine seems more likely than yours.

Hrmm no it was I who was making assumptions. I assumed that because giger was originally contracted for it that his harkonnen designs were something to do with the film. It seems I was wrong though. Sorry! sweatdrop

No worries, they used a similar style for the Harkonnen scenes in the film. It was very 'techno-fetish' if that's a word. (Though all it brings to mind is Tetsuo.)
I assume Giger was inspired by the Frank Herbert books as well as his grief during that period.
