oooh I see. hmmm I'd say a few good years. I was introduced to it in highschool, and then I really started using it when i went into university cause it was the main meduim for animating.
Yesh the secret ish out,..I AM an animator>_>''' as of now since my certificate arrived in the mail fomr the university saying they acknowledge my passing fo the course. whee! but don't be fooled i'm not that old><'' I took a course that had thework load of 4 years and crammed them into 1.

OMG ENJI THATS AMAZING CONGRATS! So what kind of programs do you use for animation? Is it a difficult process?
The picture is fantastic!! funnily enough it was raining today. i like how my eyes are hidden, its like you cant really see what I'm feeling either, its very ambiguous. And to that extent you've captured my essence perfectly, I bury my feelings then let the rain wash it away :3 TOP MARKSOH!!!

Thanks Fuu-chan, I'm glad you like it. 3nodding I use a combination of Maya 6.2, XSI and Adobe Photoshop for coloring and creating background. It's tricky sometimes when emporting a model fomr one program to another. Maya is good for creating the character models, while XSI is great for animating.^^
*hugs Lavy* hehehe, you know, tutorials on Deviantart are the key! I look for good ones and practice with their methods slowly finding my center. Till I find something I'm comfertable with.

*saves your two latest pics, then gets down to business*
Did you take online courses? 'Cause I'm planning on going into animation myself, but I don't have a car, and thus my college access is limited, so I'm looking into getting my degree online. Also, where did you get Maya, and how much does it cost, if at all? Were your courses terribly expensive? Was it very difficult to get accepted into the classes? I know some colleges and universities require you to write out a... thesis, I believe they call it... in order to be accepted. Do you have any advice for loans/grants/scholarships or colleges/universities in general I should look into? What kind of computer do you use, how much memory, ram, processing power, and so on does it have?
...
I think I just ran out of questions... o_O

That under the rain one is absolutely GORGEOUS. Your shading is legend and Fuu was right about your ability to make your artwork flow ^^ heart

lol I think you got the epic point across Kyle but I agree that word sums it up very well. Epic indeed, very well done. I look forward to seeing the rest. I especially love the one you did of Mizu though. I remember those flowers from the ice cave well and you did a very good job capturing the feeling of well ice and cold from the cave.
