I think the main thing in question is whether or not edits should be allowed. Idk, I guess it really doesn't matter.
Yeah, but we even dropped it to your 46 (after the edits) and now you keep doing 46 still XD; but we're past that without edits
50
I think Dark got 50? idk here
I did 46 because the last post I saw was JoyRose at 47. While I was in the middle of making that post, two aquarians posted.
Yeah I get that you're going from the last post you saw. All good there. It's just like I rambled in my other post. Say you see a post, the other team gets in 2 posts, but then you still go by the lower number you saw.... it hurts to have it dropped so much.
It'd be like if I saw you guys at 10. Then you go 9, 8, 7, 6 And I go 9! ... because that's the last I saw. You lose the posts you gained cuz the other team is slow to post?
I only did that because at the time I posted there were too 47s. Hence my 46 made sense.
ninja Was referring to a few hours ago.
Honestly I don't know what you're referring too =/
Hard to say since the posts are all in order now. rofl
Yeah...I'm not understanding any of what you're trying to convey sweatdrop
When you, Angel, and I were posting, at one point you posted a number after either Angel or I posted; however, the other user posted a number, resulting in your post being two values lower than the last count. When that happened I think you edited your post so the numbers matched up.
I think the main thing in question is whether or not edits should be allowed. Idk, I guess it really doesn't matter.

I wasn't saying that you should go by the post I made. I was just saying why my random 46 was in there. The issue that was happening in this thread, and what I was first addressing, was the double posting of the same numbers, which would then cause a long chain of editing that was getting everyone confused.

Totally. I get it. ^^ I get the double posts when we had the same numbers posted. I think I'd just count those as one number and move on too when it's such a fast pace. I was just rambling about afterward when we'd actually make progress without edits and then XD; see the opposing team throw down a low number again. In those cases <.<; I think we do need to edit so that the other team doesn't lose their progress. No harm, no foul. XD I know this isn't coming across right. I'm horrible with words. I'm trying to ask when I think we should edit.. as opposed to going with a strict -no edit- rule. > <

Considering the editing being used by almost all members of this thread, how about this:
If a user from the same team as the previous poster posts the same value; don't edit. Play off the last posted value.
If a user from the team opposing the previous poster posts a value that is not consistent with the previous post; they can edit their post accordingly.

The reason why I didn't edit it was because you guys had already moving passed it and reached 50. If I did edit it, then it would have forced another chain of edits? Which was the problem in the first place. Does that make sense?

One correction to my last post. Not editing, because edits at this point are pretty messy.
If a user from the same team as the previous poster posts the same value; don't edit. The next user to post plays off the last posted value.
If a user from the team opposing the previous poster posts a value that is not consistent with the previous post; they can edit their post accordingly.

Could you let Ebania know about your post? I think it's a fun game and it can easily be used for another event, it just needed some rule refinements in regards to the whole editing thing.

That's... along the lines I'm thinking. I just wanted to get an idea of /when/ I could edit and I think that sounds fair.

The situation I brought up happened before the 50 mark. Or all during that mess of a post session. I'm not trying to single out any of your posts. We all made a mess of this game. XD; Anything after that mess of 50, I totally say shouldn't be edited. Cuz yeah > < a would have ended and a new one needs to officially begin. ( I know one has started ;D I'm just generalizing here.) I'm mostly asking for the future. That's why I put it in terms of Cascadian drops. XD; Cuz I see myself being in your position, and wondering when I should edit.

Fellow mermaids. Time out, please.
All of us, yes, me included, have made some edits and some errors in this thread. These posts trying to correct each other and explain our points of view are not fun. Remember, this is the NSTG.
Please stop these posts, as they are not fun. I will send my suggestions for restricted edits to Ebania and if, you want, we can try putting them into practice.
