"I'm sorry. That's my fault. I tend to get so wrapped up in what I'm doing I lose track of other things." He kissed her nose, "Will you forgive me?" His eyes were pleading, and he had relaxed, happy that Mimi was okay. "If you ever get too hot, just tell me, 'kay?" He set her down on the chair, saying, "I'll always be here for you, don't ever forget that."

"Still, I feel kinda bad." Bowing low, to a comical point, he says, "Many thanks to you, Miss Mimi. I take your forgiveness and hold it dear to my heart." He then started laughing, until he was kissed, where he said, in a normal voice, "Thanks. Y'know what? I think we should go out and make some more friends, be it inside the castle or outside the country if need be. I'll make sure you stay cool, and it'll be one big adventure. If I have to, I'll argue with Toki 'til we're both blue to let us go."

"Then it's settled! Once you feel up to it, we're going back into the city and finding new friends!" He laughed a bit, then put his hand out, to help her up. He had never felt so great, even when surrounded by great friends, or when he practiced with his sword until he couldn't stand. He was about ready to burst with joy.
((Aww....I like how Kura's come out so far. We need to get his a** over to Houka and Pearle though.))

Mimi took his hand blushing as she felt his excitment, and had to control her own for her own health. The fact he was happy was all that mattered to her though, her own health did not.

Kura took her into his arms. "Calm down, otherwise you'll get sick again." He knew this might not happen, so he simply held her there. "So, Mimi, what now? Would you like to dance? The commoner with the princess? Or just sit and snuggle?"

Mimi blushed a bit at the comment, and leaned against him nearing falling asleep, but just awake enough to be responsive. "Mmm...sit and snuggle." she spoke quietly. Toki stpped in silently but did not yet announce his precence.

Kura felt Mimi's head, she wasn't overheating, so she must just be tired. He sat down, with her leaning on his chest, onto the bed. He stroked her hair, happy she was there. He just sat there with her, fully aware that Toki staring at him. He didn't want to leave her for any length of time, and that included just getting up to talk to Toki. He made sure she was asleep before getting up, though it took effort. "Hello Toki. I see you're back from Yami's. Do you need to talk to me? Or were simply checking to make sure I was here?" Kura's tone wasn't at all agressive, in fact, in was dripping with sincerity, no joking or sarcasm whatsoever.

Toki watched him for a few minutes more, a look in his eyes that wasn't quite distrust, nor did it show complete trust. "I was meerly checking up on the two of you." he spoke smoothly, looking for the right words to say in response for her knew how much Mimi liked Kura. "Lady Yami sends her reguards as well."

"Thanks. I'd say I must be doing something right if I got you from wanting me dead to a point where you trust me with the girl who is almost your daughter. I thank Yami, and hope I can talk with her in the next few months." He looked back over to Mimi, a twinkle in his eye. "Do you think I could stay here? I mean this room, at least for tonight? I don't wanna leave her side..."

Toki chuckled softly "Who said I don't want you dead? I just know for a fact you're not dumb enough to try anything in sucha short time period." Toki was semi-joking about this, but his tone showed a slight seriousness about it. "And you're free to stay. I overheard Mimi offering to help convince Yami and I to let you stay here and I mentioned it to her. You're free to stay as long as you like."
