Marq narrowed his eyes, wanting to be angry over the options being given but only pain came to his eyes. "I understand all that. And while the others would garner sympathy, they don't know what will happen if Lena is allow to live. She must be stopped at all costs. As far as Marion, she's too far down the line and too young to be a threat. Right now, she's cast to being held captive until we leave." he began to explain. "If they are gone, that is to say if Lena is killed, Hope cannot take the reins as she is not the next in line to rule. There is another hidden away. That's all I'll say about that. None of the non-humans know about this..." he frowned. "We just want to leave this island. That's all we've ever wanted. Personally, I feel we can actually do it if we work together. Hope can help us, but I don't know if she will go or stay if she is able to take the reins here. I wish she would..." the last part he said with a slight pain in his voice.
"So take the priority of finding and killing Lena. And that would solve a number of problems and hope the next in line can effectively take control and change this place. Whether it be the next in line or Hope herself." he sighed. "Beyond that, my thoughts are clouded and I have difficulty deciding what it is we are to do. Vina has always led us. But I don't know about anything anymore." he ran a hand through his hair. He had glanced over to Ree as he had felt their wings touching, but not making any movement to stop him from doing so.

Ree turned to looked at him silently, the pained look hurt making him second guess himself until the new information about Marion came to the light. If she was never next in line then no there was no need to kill her, this was information he was missing and it irritated him slightly. As he listened quietly he felt the abrupt difference he had been waiting for. They didn't know what to do and at the same time they had no ideas to give. He was just told that all they ever wanted to do was leave but at the same time find and kill Lena. "Would it? Might even be worse than Lena. Actually. Never mind. I will look around. Just give me any information you can about where Lena might be and I'll go see what information I can find about Ashral, the stupid vampire making, some hidden heir on some unknown and unwanted remote island. What other information do you have that you think I might need to know? " he said getting up and pausing as he glanced down at Vina. " Also her.... what is her last name...do you know if someone had the last name Gold in their family line?" now he was getting irritated but waited.

Marq was beginning to look distressed. "I have a feeling it won't be worse than Lena." he commented softly. He then looked to Ree with concern, getting up to meet his gaze with narrowed eyes. "You're going out there? Are you insane? Lena will be looking for any of us and you could very well die this time." he then sighed, feeling maybe his words would only fall on deaf ears. "Lena kept to her own life and did things independently. If she left the estate, she went alone. Marion and her were close so I can see if I can get Marion to tell me.. unless you want to do that too." he looked over to Marion who was still unconscious where she lay. "If I had to guess, she'd be at the estate as crazy as that sounds or trying to rally strong townspeople at the town hall." He looked over to Ashral and frowned. "If you're looking for information about what they did to her.. Vina mentioned books in Lady Carmella's study that likely had that information. And as far as the hidden heir, they don't want to be found. But the townspeople won't listen to Hope until that heir is dead. So it's difficult."
Her looked down to Vina as Ree asked about her, "As far as I know, that last name isn't anywhere in her family line. Why do you ask?"

Ree sighed softly as he tried to settle the shifting of emotions as they were almost working in tandem but broke apart again. "Tell me how you were thinking on finding and stopping Lena then?" he just shook his head. "If you want something as dangerous as taking someone like that down you have to risk it with a plan or rethink your options. " he explained, not even sure how much of it was fear or hope he would just go do it anyways. If he wasn't already feeling like shi* he might have felt worse. " Heading back to the estate isn't crazy... quite logical. I was thinking of heading back there first anyways. See what I can find...well then" he sigh softly and looked to Marion. "If you can question her that would be better. I suck at interrogations... "remembering Blaise from before and nearly letting out a bitter laugh. The talk of Vina's last name distracted him, surprised Marq didn't just mention it anyways. " My adoptive grandmother looked very similar to her. black hair, gold eyes... but shadow powers instead of fire"

Marq shook his head dismissively. He hadn't a better idea, and it was obvious. Even Vina hadn't come up with a solid plan to stop Lena and even seemed to avert from the topic in lieu of just focusing on escaping only.
He thought more on what Ree was saying. Taking risks or rethinking options. No, he was right, it was worth the risk to to make sure they would be able to take down Lena."I'll question Marion. See if she knows anything about Lena: where she is, what she's been doing, or if she had a plan if Lady Carmella fell to her demise. So we can find her."
"I would not know. Her family was not from here. But from my knowledge, she's nothing like the rest of her family. So I doubt they are related." he commented then sighed. "If you are going to the estate, you should ask Vina to borrow her necklace so you can see if Lena is hidden. Other than that, I hope that you stay safe and return without injury." he offered before looking at Vina then to Ree.

He glanced toward Marion and frowned, another reason to head to the estate, see if he can find his pack with his things inside. Or if they were being used, that would make it easier to find them. "Please do, other wise this is going to be an interesting cat and mouse game" he muttered looking toward Vina now then looked up and blinked a flicker of confusion then pain in his eyes for a moment as he glance back down. "Her necklace? " remembering the one he had thrown to Vina when they first meet thinking she was Rika. "...The one Rika gave me?" he said with a flicker of sadness. "That can see when they are hidden?" he sighed and ran his hand through his hair, just saying everything outloud it seemed. Reaching out he tried to gently wake Vina so he could go... assuming it was night he would be able to move around better.

Marq nodded in understanding then looked with concern as Ree questioned the necklace. "Yes, the one that was Rika's. It can show the hidden, you have to focus on it, but you can see them even if they try to mask their auras."
Vina made a tired groan as she yawned and rolled to look at Ree. "..marq?.." she mumbled and her vision focused after a minute.
Marq narrowed his eyes in pain and looked away as she spoke his name, clenching his fists at his sides as he moved to the cot he had been sleeping on where Hope lay, reaching for her to wake her up but decided against it halfway through and moved to Marion to handle her for now.
Vina blinked slowly then smiled at Ree groggily. "Oh, stranger, you're awake.." she yawned again and sat up, rubbing her eye. "What's going on?" she asked, taking a moment to glance around. She noticed Marq stop at the cot that held Hope and she frowned before averting her eyes to look over everyone else in the room before returning her vision back to Ree.

Ree blinked and glanced at Marq when Vina called his name, watching him walk away fist clenched at his side. Vina's voice pulled his attention back as he sighed seeing her frowned as she glance past him at Marq. // problems// his other half muttered faintly as if it weren't that far off. //we do have enough of them// "My name is Ree" he said finally and glance at Marq and back. "I am going to go back to the estate and look for information. Marq said that using Rika's necklace might help me see anyone in hide" muttering the video game definition of something that more akin to invisibility. //one or thing? maybe there are things...// "If I could borrow it again?"

Vina looked to Ree and blinked, "Oh.. uh.. right. I supposed I just got so used to not knowing your name." she mumbled before listening to what he had to say. Nodding, she agreed with his plan to go there. But then he mentioned the necklace, and her hand reflexively reached up to grasp the stone around her neck. "Yeah.." she nodded and untied the cord from her neck, handing it to Ree. "Please be careful. Lena is still out there." she commented with a slightly forced smile, like she knew that there was a small likeliness that Ree wouldn't come back.
"How is Ashral?" she asked, glancing over to the white-haired girl who was staring at them. Vina frowned slightly, the uneasiness of staring back at cold red eyes like this was obvious in her expression.
The hatch in the floor opened and someone was descending but wasn't visible as they made their way to the bottom of the stairs and stood there for a moment.
Nero lifted his head slightly to look at who at come down the stairs then lowered his head again, not moving.

Assuming there is no other healer other than Marq, she was still shot so that might be some indication as who she is as well as be a hinderence" //.....////shut up// he thought to himself with a flicker of guilt. Placing the necklace on he turned to glance at Ashral quietly then looked back at Vina a little confused by her discomfort. Or maybe it was because he had become accustomed to the inverse red eyes through Kage and Ashral herself. Or maybe it was because Ashral was not looking decidedly friendly either. " She is a little better...but you would have a better gauge of that. But in general better ..." hinting to the fact he had been mostly unconcious during all the time and only had snipe and pieces of how she was when she first awoke to being shot to now. That part was still mystery and he felt uncomfortable asking her while they were with the others, more reason for him to head back and look. Looking at Ashral he gave her a small nod and froze turning sharply to the new noise and the sounds of steps on the landing.mwings were pulled in and telepathic shield was up as he stared intently at the person as they reached the bottom.

"There are doctors, but no healers. But I've seen them recover at alarming rates. I don't know whether that was by Lady Carmella's hand or they have some means to heal. I simply don't know." she frowned, knowing that she wasn't being very helpful with her lack of information even if her uncertainty did garner the notion of extra caution.
"She would only talk to Giselle in the time you were asleep. She always looked at me with such angry and sad eyes that I didn't want to stress her out further by bothering her too much. Katarina and her fought a lot, nothing to cause harm but I don't think they like each other much." she explained. "Marq had a very difficult time even getting close to her as she expressed a very tense uneasiness about him. He was unable to even check her for injuries with how she drew away from him, which is why I ask if she's okay." she sighed then looked to the stairs as someone came down them, a slight look of worry.
Ashral had shifted her gaze to the stairs from the noise, but didn't seem bothered until it moved closer to her. Touched her even. Ashral flinched and sat up suddenly, baring fangs and narrowed eyes. A low hiss as she glared at whatever was standing at her cot.
The figure shifted into view, Katarina staring down at Ashral with an unamused look. "Behave yourself." she commanded flatly with equally narrowed eyes in distaste then moved to Nero and Giselle. Katarina motioned to Giselle and Nero looked up to her and nodded. Nero then lightly woke up Giselle and silently motioned to Katarina.
Giselle sleepily got up and took Katarina's hand as she moved toward the stairs. Katarina gave Ashral another disapproving look and Giselle frowned.

Ree was baring his own fangs, smaller than a vampires but there, fighting with the urge to go and move between them and only relaxing when Katarina moved away. If he could he would have taken Ashral with him but that wasn't possible, going from what Vina described she was as comfortable with them as he was..which was not that much at all. Watching Katarina take Giselle up above, possible to the bathroom or something like that he turned to look at Vina. "You look like my grandmother. Black hair gold eyes...a pain in the neck personality that is more shoot first ask questions later and lead her own group" he said calmly. " Ashral and her never....meet eye to eye let say that. I am sure you are reminding her of my grandmother and hence the reactions. Not your fault but not much you can do about it. " he said simply then looked at Marq. " Marq healed her before ....he is a little...oblivious in the persuit of healing, on how someone who is wide awakening, in pain and a stranger might take to his healing. " there was a flicker of wariness." Again nothing much for that.As for Katarina I don't know...." He said with a sigh. " On thing I should tell you if Katarina hasn't. Your sister....she was at that shrine thing. A vampire......but now she is gone " he said quietly, thinking to her but then thinking to what Vna has said abut the advanced healing. Perhaps magic infused ...magi help or from the mainland?

Vina stared at Ree, a flicker of interest as he spoke of his grandmother who looked her. An odd fact but it made sense why Ashral seemed so apprehensive about her. Then there was Marq who she knew was oblivious when it came to healing. He was oblivious to a lot of things. A fact that caused her to sigh with a sad look. "I see.." she retorted calmly.
As Ree spoke of her sister, Vina's attention fixated on him as he explained that Rina was in the shrine. A vampire like Ashral. But now she was gone.
And Katarina knew.
"Katarina...." she whispered, looking to the pixie, her expression growing angry at the deep betrayal she felt. "You knew where Rina was?!" she yelled, completely disregarding anything else in that moment.
Katarina froze midstep a third of the way up the stairs before turning back sharply, looking from Vina's angered face to Ree and glared at him. "Idiot!!" she hissed as Vina jolted from the cot, running at her with fury.
Giselle shrieked and ducked back and Nero quickly made his way to her, scooping up the still life and backing up.
Marq hesitated as he turned to all the noise, not even sure what the hell was happening. Why Vina was so angry, and why she was focused on Katarina now.
Vina knocked Katarina down where she stood on the stairs, hands wrapped around her small throat as she fought back the barrage of furious tears that lay just on the brink of her outrage. "You knew where she was! What they did to her!!" she screamed.
Katarina grimaced a bit as she felt Vina's hand beginning to heat up. She was beginning to chuckle in a strained voice. "So this is it... you've decided to doom us all. Why am I not surprised..."
Vina just gripped harder, "How could you do this!!"
"Vina stop!" Marq called out and tried to grab Vina to pull her off.
"Get away from me!!" she yelled and shot a blast of fire at him, knocking him down without thinking about it. She reeled back and punched Katarina, aiming for the face, as she kept her pin from a straddled position.
Marq didn't expect to be hit by Vina as he fell back and hit the floor hard, the flames doing enough damage to draw blood.
"...vina stop.." Nero called out softly, a frowned pursed against his lips. "Vina don't! You have to stop!!" Giselle cried out, fear deep in her voice.
Vina wasn't listening as she kept hitting at Katarina. the pixie was trying to guard her face but wasn't exactly making any moves to remove herself from Vina's grasp or attack in return.

Ree frowned putting together that the person Katarina had been talking about was Vina and not what-her-face. "....." Narrowing his eyes slightly he moved to them, saying nothing as he focused on Vina's hands and started to pull them back from Katarina with telekinesis. " Vina, stop. I am sorry for your loss but Katarina was sent there an hour before I went in. Rika was already a vampire long before then and gone soon after" he said quietly as he walked toward her, eyes focused. " She was saving you the suffering which I thought you should know of, encase you had any more ties here. Killing Katarina won't help in anything and you are even hurting those who care about you. Look at where Marq is..how he is. You called his name twice in your sleep, now your hurting him and those who around you when you are so close to escape?" He continued carefully with a look of deep exhaustion as he was of one mind for the moment.He wasn't even sure if what he said was true but it didn't matter.

Vina felt the force against her hands but pushed harder. Now more people were telling her to stop, even if her hands wouldn't move and she wanted nothing more than to hurt Katarina for this. "Katarina was in the sent to the shrine a week ago and not once did she care to tell me what happened. I expect it from you, you don't know us. But I considered her family.. the only bit of family I even had left.." her hands were shaking, "I don't care, Katarina is nothing to me!!" she screamed.
His words were slowly reaching her as she looked over to Marq. Saw he was hurt. Hurt by her. The tears broke through as they spilled down quickly, her chest pained deeper than anything she'd experienced. She really was hurting the people that cared about her. "I.. wish you understood. We probably could have all been friends." she spoke calmly, putting down her hands slowly and coming to a stand, looking down to Katarina would was staring back up at her with a bland look on her bloodied and bruised face.
Vina clenched her fists at her sides, taking a slow look around the room as she saw how hurt everyone was emotionally over what she did. Closing her eyes, she clenched her teeth hard before bolting up the stairs past Katarina and leaving through the hatch in the floor above.
"Vina.. wait.." Marq was straining to get up, the injury far worse than he had anticipated, stumbling to get to the stairs to stop her but wouldn't get there in time. He sighed and reached for Katarina. "Hey.. are you okay?.."
Katarina chuckled with a sad look, obviously trying to stay strong about it all. She pushed herself up from the stairs and sat on them. "I'm fine."
Giselle stared with worry to the hatch, "..is Vina coming back?"
Nero frowned and shrugged.
"She's probably going to go fight Lena." Katarina commented blandly then sighed.midnightspirit Please roll a D20 in your response.
