 He continued to watch the dancers, his little wings fluttering! Thurayya spun on the dance floor, and a purple and pink skyfish swam down through the air to join her. Some one else slipped a Red and Orange ring in Kama's pockets.  Niamh turned around and was faced with a Blue and Green Kidden, who started bouncing playfully around her.After he put his bracelet on, Enrí picked up a Pink and blue ring, and slid that on too! Pretty!  Some one else slipped a black and purple locket into Delilah's purse...  Coco fussed nervously with her dress as she entered the room. The room was decorated in a lovely fashion, but Coco didn't notice much. She wasn't used to being dressed up and she wasn't sure why she had decided to go to the prom, she likely looked like a dork. Coco just had to do one more thing with her latest painting and she had managed to get paint of her new dress and hadn't had time to go buy another. So she was wearing a short white dress that had paint marks on the bottom of the dress in a rainbow of colors. Coco blushed feeling foolish for coming to the prom without even noticing the paint till she got there. Coco sat down on a chair off to the side of the room, it was then she heard a buzzing sound. Coco looked and saw a fluffbugs flying towards her. The familiar landed in Coco's lap and buzzed happily at her almost like a vespercat purring. Coco smiled softly and started petting the fluffbug.

 Gwen entered the prom, she was dressed in a short black dress with white lace around the bottom of the dress. Gwen smiled and looked around she hoped she would find Anara, Gwen looked down at the little black purse she had put the locket she wanted to give to Anara and ask her if she would be Gwen's date to the prom. She also wanted to see Liath, since he was a dear friend of hers, it did cross Gwen's mind that the two would never get along. After all Anara was a Hallowed and Liath wasn't. When Gwen was younger she had wanted to study the Hallowed and figure out what made them what they were, but she had outgrown that dream and now wanted to help Anara with her dreams. Gwen also thought they fit well together after all Gwen was a scientist and Anara well Anara was amazing and Gwen wanted to be her girlfriend if she could convince Anara that she really did care about her. Which was tricky Anara hadn't believed her when they were kids why would she believe Gwen now?? Gwen sighed, she wished that science was on her side, but it didn't seem to be.

 A purr rolled from her lips at the kiss of her hand, tail flicking idly behind her. She slid right against him, tail briefly brushing against his as she allowed him to lead her in the dance.
"Do you?" She hummed back, head tilting slightly to the side as she gave a cheeky smile. "It seems I've found myself the gentleman of the ball, haven't I?" Her eyes trailed to the skyfish, tail twitching as she scrunched her nose in laughter. Oh, what a sweet thing! She didn't notice a freshling fussing with her tail, not until she pulled it to her side and spotted a ribbon dangling from it. She leaned away from Kama for a brief second to inspect her tail, ears flicking up as she gave a soft hum. Pretty!

 Partner? All night? Well, he hoped he wasn't holding her up! He gladly accepted a tiny bit of the cotton candy, the tip of his tail switching as the cloud-like sweet melted on his tongue. Where was he heading? Oh! Back home!
"I was just lea- oh!" Suddenly, it clicked. She had been seeking a dance partner all night, he was standing in-front of her, they both had nowhere better to be. His ears flicked, hand extending out as he gave a slightly silly bow, a soft smirk on his face as he looked up from his position.
"If you're seeking a dance partner, I could offer my services." The man couldn't help but smile at his own silliness. What? It wasn't everyday he got to offer his hand to a pretty girl, was it? He was nervous! Cut him some slack!

Calypso was more than excited for prom! As a freshling, nah but now as a teenager!!! The imp teen didn't care much about what others thought so she just wore an old dress that she had only worn twice. Besides, had she bought a new one.. It'd be her luck to trip and get it all dirty! So a simple dark green dress with tan flowers was her choice. As Calypso looked everyone over, she smiled. There were so many options here! As she strolled around, she took notice of another girl. Her markings were beautiful!!! And she looked so shy! The imp girl made her way to the demon, smiling brightly and confidently. "Wow, you look really pretty!" She exclaimed boldly.  Leddi beamed at the compliment. She was nice, wasn't she? Or, that's what Leffi always said. The young neko giggled as the kidden nuzzled into the crook of her knee, tail flicking merrily about in her amusement. At the question, Leddi looked up at Jeanette, frowning absently as her eyes directed back at the kidden.
"A name?" She squeaked thoughtfully. What was a good name? Her head tilted to the side, an anxious purr escaping her. A name. She couldn't just call them 'pet' or 'kidden!' "Can you help me?" She asked, head raising to look at her new friend before her eyes locked on a fallen plushie beside Jeanette. Oh? Leaning over (careful to not hurt her new kidden), she plucked the plushie up, gesturing towards Jeanette with it.
"Is this yours?"

 There was a faint pause as Freya considered his words, mouth parting into a tiny 'o'. Silence followed as she watched the other grab punch, slowly looking down at her plushie. Did she need anything? To get out of the crowd, yes. Anything else? Her eyes trailed to the room, noting familiars fluttering and dancing about. Ah.
"I want to be closer to the familiar stand." She finally said, voice so soft it floated away in the crowd. "I want a skyfish." She added, nodding towards the floating familiars circling the heads of some teenagers.

 Cheshire used the others shoulders as support, pulling himself up to make sure the teacher was gone before squirming away and back in-front of the other. His tail flicked in amusement, ears alert as he kept an eye on the nearby teachers.
"Huh? Oh, yeah! I usually have to break free from detention!" He purred in triumph, as if getting caught was a status symbol. "So now I'm being watched, because I'm a 'trouble child', which I think is ridiculous. Nothing wrong with a good lau- ah shoot!" He ducked behind his new friend as the teacher turned back around, ears pinned against his head. Maybe they should get away from the punch table?

 Echo tilted her head when she spotted him try and stifle his smile, curiously tucking that note in later. Was he embarrassed to show her his more relaxed side, or...? Was it his teeth? Some people hated showing their teeth, but as far as Echo had noticed, his were in good condition. Nothing to be ashamed of. Ah, whatever the reason was, she didn't think it'd be polite to dwell. Her tail flicked idly as Liam made what she assumed was a joke, eyes trailing to his lower half before flicking them back up to him. There was a delayed response, until suddenly the humor seemed to click in her head, a smile slightly touching her usually monotone face.
"You'd be surprised." She commented, the smile slowly dissipating.
"Knowing me, I'll find something to step on." She glanced back towards the dance, looking back towards Liam and nodding towards the dance.
"Are you ready?" She almost added 'to get your tail stomped on', but instead she pocketed the comment away. Liam might actually regret bringing her if she kept harping on her poor dancing skills.

 His head cocked to the side, scales glowing faintly under the dark light. He was the embodiment of a night light, his scales glimmering and glowing, eyes illuminating the air around him. He usually tried to tone the glow down, worried he'd hurt others eyes, but the music of the dance had lured away any precautions.
"That's a shame. I'm sure you're a wonderful player." And there he felt the awkward twinge. He wasn't good talking to others, and this girl looked like she was. Was he obviously floundering? Could she see how unaccustomed he was to conversing with others? Was she amused? Disgusted? Annoyed? Eques shoved those thoughts violently aside, focusing on her last comment.
"Likewise, Pandora, even if I had to bump into you to do so." He gave an apologetic smile, tail curling around one of his ankles.

 Honestly, Ariel wasn't having the best of times. He had been excited about the dance, begging his mom to let him go and squealing when she approved. Yet, Maple didn't want to attend, she was busy working on a project and she didn't see the appeal of dances, and Ava was busy monitoring other things. He was alone for the first time. Usually, he always had Maple at his side, at least. Sure, they had different classes due to being different ages, but then he had fellow students to be around. This dance just served to remind him he was alone, and friendless.
It was hard making friends when everyone knew you were Ava's son. Maple herself had one friend, but she never minded. Ariel did mind. He liked people, and he wanted to always be around them. He didn't like being alone like Maple did! The dance didn't feel fun this way. He felt alone, despite how big the room was and how many people jumped and danced about. He didn't like this event anymore...
The hybrid sighed, leaning against a wall and staring at his fingers, tapping them together. He shouldn't have come....

 Chloe wasn't exactly a dancing type of person, but she had been interested when she heard there would be familiars and trinkets. Besides, her parents were always begging her to socialize more, and she didn't want to disappoint them. She might as well, right?
So, into the dance she went, wearing her normal attire and not even bothering to change her hair or add make-up. She wasn't here to be pretty, and she didn't have a date. She could care less what anyone thought, frankly.
Actually, she could care less to even pay attention! Chloe was busy gazing about, not noticing a teenager in-front of them until they bumped right into them! Chloe gasped, straightening herself and reaching out to help the other if she needed to. It took her a second to notice the other had only one eye before their attention was diverted back to the fact they had been so absolutely careless.
"I'm sorry, that was my fault. I wasn't looking. Are you alright?"

Coco blushed and then said "Umm.. well.. Umm.. I got paint on my dress.." Coco looked at the lovely imp, confused why she was talking to Coco, Coco didn't have many friends and she didn't think she was very pretty. So having a beautiful imp come and tell her, her white dress covered in a rainbow of paint colors was pretty was a bit of a shock. "You don't think I look foolish covered in paint??" Coco asked shyly.. She petted the fluffbug in her lap in a nervous gesture trying to calm herself. She looked at the imp's dress it was really pretty, but Coco doubted this girl could wear anything and not look gorgeous. Coco blushed a deeper shade of red at the thought. "Umm I'm Coco." she said softly (No big Hobo ^_^ )
