Demons were being carved up left and right, Saitou was making headway through the horde of enemies, and all the while there was one question on everyone's mind...what was Haruto going to do today? Was he going to be even more insane than usual? It would be entertaining to find out if Saitou weren't Saitou, but since he was...he really just hoped Mashiba reigned it in. We don't though! ~Shinpachi Saito, Master of the Dark Persona~"Shink, shink." Saitou was mirroring the noises that his blade made as it passed through demons by making similar noises with his mouth as he passed through the plethora of enemies, and with each silly noise an enemy actually felt dead, making a bit of dissonance between reality and what was going on inside of Saitou's head. He had to keep his cool, and joking about the enemies he was cutting down helped to manage that. "Pyew, pyew." ...and sometimes you just had to throw in laser noises. Because. Saitou drew his sword back and prepared to make one clean cut, looking for the best route through the demons. There were a couple of them, but nothing serious enough to stop him from his goal, which was destroying that bundle of poison before it started spewing it's toxic nastiness. "Out of my way!"Saitou ducked as a demon swung it's large blade at his head, and moved in on the path he could see projected in his mind, heading for the spore. In a flash he was on top of it, and as the air began to let out of the beast his sword stuck down into it, carving the creature in half to prevent it from completing it's mission...bam! Saitou turned to glance over his shoulder, and offered a dark grin that could have sent shivers down a demon's spine. He turned and dashed back into the thick of it, his silvery blade shining as blood splattered left and right, striking so fast that the red barely stained the weapon before it was whipped away and swung again to cut through a new demon. There was something enjoyable about being the biggest dog in the fight...and he was going to flex his jaws while there was still prey to bite. Quote: Saitou cuts down demons. Saitou had been inspired by the dance by his not-buddy Mashiba before, and Mashiba was way too forward thinking to show Shiva a dance he'd already thought up and discarded. But there was a little bit of hope for this dance, some glimmers of talent in it's moves Saitou had gleaned...and he would take what Haruto had developed, refine it, and make it into a dance unlike any other. That's what a true master of the craft, and not a flake like Mashiba, would have done in the first place. "Hold on to your butts." Saitou sad faced as he explained that he had failed to move Shiva's heart...for the fifth time today. It was so depressing he'd had hsi head down the whole walk back to the city, and now that he was in the HQ he knew that Sako would give him a tongue lashing the likes of which he could barely withstand. There was trying, and then there was desperation...was he on the latter!? "Um, that's great but...I'm Ms. Otome. You want the next door over." Saitou's eyes sprung open as he looked up and spotted the pink dressed nurse, who only offered an innocent smile in return. Her glowing aura of purity only burned more. He was the sinful fool who'd stolen the dance that Mashiba had originally invented...and yet she could still look on him with such an honest gaze, with a heart as pure as gold. It burned! It burned being in the presence of someone with so much optimism! "Ah. My mistake. Thank you for listening, Otome." Saitou bowed, then turned and left. But a keen eye could spot the tear in his eye. Saitou's residual sadness from Otome's puritude led him to be possessed by a demon, but luckily it was one with a big ego and a very little brain, and the talents of this demons were particularly helpful to JPs. The demon of course was a cat with a trumped up ego, the legendary and totally overzealous Neko Shogun. "Bring me fish, and milk! If you don't, I will destroy your pathetic shelter! Uwahahaha!" Saitou felt that he could probably repel this demon, but it also had strength which could benefit JPs if he allowed it to receive their offerings and aid them for a while longer. So he endured, and the well cooked fish was pretty delicious...maybe cats weren't so bad after all. Quote: Saitou is possessed. Current Demon: Titania (+4 levels) + Trumpeter = Fafnir (-15). ~Shinpachi Saito, Master of the Dark Persona~"And so I bid adieu to Neko Shogun, who helped me take out this group of demons on JP's orders. Farewell kitty cat, you were adorable in a deadly, deadly way." The demon began to disappear from Saitou's body after a peaceful bit of cooperation, and the demons bodies laying around him were a sign that it had all worked out for the best. Neko Shogun's sword skills had paired well with Saito's fighting style, and they were able to defeat beasts which were far stronger than ones they were able to defeat separately. That was truly the best way a possession could have gone, but Saitou was glad it was over as well. Neko Shogun simply wanted...just, well, way too much fish for his liking. If I just push myself a little further..."Saitou sought out another group of demons, though they weren't a set as powerful as the ones he'd taken out with Neko Shogun's help. But they were tougher, because he felt like he could still imagine the strength he had when he was possessed, and if he just focused on becoming that strong he could draw closer to managing it on his own. It was a type of training that required he throw himself head long into it however, and thus he was here...and the demons were merely unfortunate victims to the wrath he'd built up after seeing just how far he had to grow with the demon power he possessed now. So Saitou had made the drastic call he expected he'd have to, deep down inside; he chose to find demons on the level of those he'd fought while possessed. They were extremely powerful, but so was he. If he used his strength and searched for the latent talent inside of him, there was no telling how far he could go in his attempt to overcome this challenge. That's why he put himself on the spot like this; a battle where his very life was on the line was the only way he could draw out his true potential without the help of Neko Shogun and in such a hurry.
