Rep hit the ground outside the creature with a thump, and for a few moments just lay there.
He was concious again, but he was ******** DONE with today. He just needed a ******** minute. Just a ******** minute.
Mercifully he was unaware of who had actually saved his a**, or he might even have been annoyed about THAT too.

[Dorm] Noah had his boots on, and his coat, and his scarf. He decided that he was not going to attempt to make Al put his coat on, but he did retrieve a pair of sneakers and drop them next to Al. "Shoes," he instructed, and then had to sit down for a moment, swallowing against a wave of nausea. "I really, really don't feel good," he said weakly. When he had gotten his stomach back under control, he got up again, shakily, and moved away a few steps, then held his hand out and tried to summon. Laz's totem stayed where it was. "I can't summon either," he reported. "Should we, we should go find out what's going on ..."

GALE - DORMSHe gave her a soft look. "It's all right," said Gale quietly. "Right now things are a bloody mess - quite literally. There's not much we know, so everything is all up in the air, and without our weapons, we're incredibly vulnerable."
He missed the feeling of Jinhai inside of his head, the lack of his weapon making Gale feel even less steady than usual, fingers trembling as he followed after Stormy.
Her look was caught; Abbi was just down the corridor, with an unfamiliar hunter, and someone was attacking her. Gale leapt forward, attempting to help, but his stomach gave a nasty churn, and he staggered against a wall, feeling horribly weak. Quote: Gale:Virus Counter: 8 HP: 55 Abbi Attacker HP: 5

"You don't see this thing?!" Jacob yelled, throwing up a hand to point at the monster. At which point, it bit that arm, and any debate on it existing or not was put right to bed. He heard the crack, but he didn't realize what had happened at first. He was just aware that those <******** pearly whites were buried in his flesh, and his blood was going everywhere! Words turned into desperate screaming, as Jacob began punching the things' head, trying to Get. It. To. Let. Go! Something in his animal mind remembered the glass around him, and he paused his punching long enough to grab any nearby shard. [Dormitories] Sherry nodded as Felicia spoke. Made sense, she knew some weapons were a bit more quiet. But her nodding had become something a bit absent minded. Something had caught her eye. Something that glittered and sparkled just so in the light. Which was why when Felicia mentioned going outside, Sherry nodded again. "Good idea." Some part of her mind registered concern for Felicia's cousin. Even more concern for Felicia. "I'll be right behind you..." She didn't move to follow Felicia. Sherry needed to get a better look at that golden crown. It was odd how no one else noticed it, heck, some people almost seemed to walk right through it, but that was absurd. "Isn't it pretty?" She asked no one in particular, though Mimi might have thought the question was for her. Sherry then started to move. Right towards that crown. In fact, she reached out her hand to try and touch the gold, glittery thing. It was something she really needed to own. Heck, it would suit her perfectly, wouldn't it? [ courtyard ]"There's someone-" He didn't want to say any names, for fear that they were, in fact, Caelius or Char- Sam. He gestured vaguely upward to Shiloh with one hand off the trapping gun he was clinging to. How in the hell had they gotten up there? And why were they gesturing for him to go up there too? The vines were seemingly impossible to breach. He couldn't explain it any more than Shiloh couldn't grasp it. Something hit the ground next to him and he practically jumped. But it was just a piece of metal. Or was it? Actually, based on the design, it looked a lot like the runic torches back in the lab, only... a lot nicer looking. It wouldn't hurt him to take a closer look... New runic technology, his only weakness. He picked it up before he had even thought about whether or not strange weapons from mysterious sources could, in fact, be considered a bad idea. Whoever it was up there knew how to appeal to the completely danger-ignorant part of his brain. Anyone who would throw him a runic weapon couldn't be all bad, probably. And also, higher ground was probably better than lower ground where giant creatures were rampaging around and people kept vomiting up their organs. No one survived zombie apocalypses staying in large groups. Holstering the other runic over one shoulder, he hefted the new one instead. The only way up the wall was by the stairs, and the only way to get to the stairs was - Oh.Ohhhh.

[at one with the vines] There were other people stuck in the vines. Jordan stretched out to pull at another vine leading to a tangle wrapped around another hunter, a man he vaguely recognized. The vines uncoiled and released the guy. Jordan muttered, "Thanks," to the vine in his hand, and felt a little stupid. But at least he was doing something.

Cameron was seriously this close to just ******** high tailing it out when another pair of shorties came through the door.
They really needed to feed these kids more milk, they didn't even look old enough to drink. What kind of military-
"Help me get him off...." He demanded, he could see marks forming around Abbi's neck, and for some reason that really pissed him off. He lifted the hunter again, managing to get his hands loosened.
"Someone kick him in the balls or something, I don't care." He could only hold him for so long guys.

Creedence stilled under Dawson's attempts to take care of her wounds, head down and only glancing up once at Maebe's statement. "That's what he gets," she muttered quietly. "That's what happens when you split a group on two mobs, instead of methodically taking them down one at a time." For a moment, thinking about the situation in such terms gave her a space of calm and clarity of thought. The ringing in her ears increased once more, "I don't...I don't think I'm getting better. Maybe it was because Stormy and Gale had arrived and were trying to help, or maybe it was because Abbi was super tired, or because she missed Viveca so much she was going a bit crazy, but probably it was because her throat felt too raw to be good and because Cameron had mentioned kicking balls.
With the larger Hunter lifted, Abbi took a moment to bring both her knees up as high as she could. When she felt something under her feet she pushed, glad for the leverage of the floor to help. The Hunter was probably already weakened to begin with, but the teen had gotten angry enough that she not only pushed him up and off but followed him through to continue digging her feet into his stomach. He flopped onto his back and she bounced him once, just once after all those times he'd done the same to her, before she kind of gave up and collapsed, falling to one side away from his still form.
Now a ball of coughing and wheezing and flailing hands to find someone to help her up and probably surprise them with a hug, Abbi felt... Not at all better.
A gentle hand touched her neck and found it raw and painful enough that she made a noise, which also hurt. And because Viveca was absent from her head it meant this pain would linger too.
"Thanks for... Your help... 7 Foot Wonder." Abbi winced while she spoke, but nudged Cameron in the ribs, unable to keep from looking wholly and utterly grateful and sentimental for his help. He was totally getting another hug at some point, half because she was so glad he'd stuck around and half because she knew it would bother him and that was pretty funny. But for now, she just kind of smiled at him and made a little motion to indicate his glasses were super askew.
She turned to Stormy and Gale and gave a weak wave.
"Glad you could... Join the party!"
