Gigi of the Ribbons Lady Ravena Vauville "Bon après-midi.. Vous avez également un peu lapin?" (Good afternoon.. You also have a little rabbit?) Poor thing has no idea what is being said to her, but she'll try to communicate anyway. She at least understands that the other girl is showing off her rabbit. Giving Gigi a tiny smile, she holds up her own stuffed bunny. "Ce nom est Pancake." (This one's name is Pancake.) Rae nods politely, really putting forth the effort to talk to the fairy-girl. *catches the word pancake and sees the bunny being held up so takes a guess* Your bunny's name is Pancake? *looks down at the bunny and gives a little wave.* Hi, Pancake~ Maybe you can tell my bunny it's okay to tell me their name. Oh! *looks back at the other little girl with a little blush* I forgot to tell you my name but told you Remy's. *giggles and taps her own nose* Gigi, that's me~
All Rae got out of that was the reiteration of her own bunny's name. Maybe the fairy-girl was saying hello? At least she now knew her name. Smiling up at the fairy girl, she pointed first to Gigi, then herself. "Gigi. Ravena." Basically, she's trying to place Gigi's face with her name. She's only 5 years old after all. Whipping her head around at the sound of a far-off whistle, and a boy's voice crying out in Italian, Ravena stood, quickly throwing her arms around Gigi in a brief hug. "Mon frère m'appelle. Je vais vous voir plus tard!" ( My brother is calling me. I'll see you later!) With that, she dashed off, stuffed bunny in hand.
Giggling happily, she poked Monster's furry leg, which is all she can reach. "Adieu, Papa monstre!" (Goodbye, Papa monster!) having heard Gear call out for her, the tiny strawberry blonde stood, brushed herself off, and ran off toward her brother's voice.
Oh, now he was so hard to see.. Squinting at where Rae thought Toby still was, she nodded slowly, trying to understand what he was saying. Was that perhaps a name in all that gibberish? Pointing up at him, then at herself, she again tried to place the name with the face. "Tobias. Ravena." Rae had trouble with her 's' pronunciation, so it sounded like she said "Tob-yah" instead. At least now she was beginning to understand some of the things he was trying to say. Hearing a far-off voice crying out in Italian, her name mixed in there somewhere, Rae hastily stood, brushing herself off. "Je dois m'en aller maintenant, mais j'aimerais vous voir revenir un jour. Adieu, Tobias!" (I have to go now, but I'd like to see you again someday. Goodbye, Tobias!) Waving goodbye, the tiny green-eyed girl took off, probably to find her brother.
((Sorry that took so long. You guys don't have to respond back now that the day is over. I kinda wanna continue this in some fashion another time, so if you're interested, let me know! If I didn't quote you back, it was because I couldn't figure out what to say next, so I'm sorry. u_u Onto gender expression day!))

Yes, all the excuses for more chibis! )
