SUCCESS, LUSUS FREED, 2 DAMAGE DEALT???
Keionx saw a Lusus, white and stained and as serpentine as the vines that bound it and, spying an umbilical-like vine connecting it to the writhing, burning mass, she dove in to action to free them. She thought she had done well for a moment, as her sword swung into the vines, but then there was a moment of uncertainty, when her sword stuck into the chord. Without her sword, she really was nothing.
Just a wannabe hero, barely able to defend yourself
She grit her teeth and wrenched at her blade
Look at you, you can barely wield your sword
She pulled harder
You're just a stupid runt
The blade came out with a shlorp and the vine severed with a shwelch and she smiled a fleeting smirk of triumph as the serpentine lusus wriggled free of it's trap and, enraged, turned on its tormentor.
That had been heroic.

Zindel failed in freeing a lusus. While everyone was busy talking, Zindel was pulling at the vines, trying to free the lusi!! But of course, he was sucking hard. Great.

A weak hit. But it's better than nothing! Eostre continued to push her way through the crowd of drones and trapped lusii to get a shot at Aendal.

Pumped up by his success, Aandes saw another lusus in the distance. "Pops, let's get over there and -- oh, s**t!"
A drone crawled out of a shallow hole in front of them, its face horribly disfigured. Aandes would have vomited if he had any stomach contents left, but Koalapops did his job well enough. The two proceeded undeterred.
Koalapops dealt 2 damage.

As Reemus pulled on some more vines and went through the motions of ducking and dodging swipes from irate lusii, then sighing at the failure and seeing if he could latch onto a different one for another shot, he looked back over at Voscil. She had just grinned earlier when his face had warmed up, and he wasn't sure what that meant. Was she smiling at him or with him? It was impossible to tell. At least she hadn't pointed it out to everyone else. That would've been...pretty embarrassing, frankly.
Voscil was nice though, kind of like Nervit. But more rambunctious and social. Nervit was someone he wanted to shield from the bad stuff, and kind of coddle, really. Like she was too innocent for how nasty things could be. She was quiet, kind, but also a blood color below him, so had to be protected. Especially with such a small lusus as a protector. Though Pyredad DID last longer than the other, larger lusus in their group...
He felt like he was on even ground with Vos, though; not just because of their same blood pool. Though he was a little intimidated by her powers, and a little envious at the same time. That must be soooo cool. "So, uh," he tried to make idle chit chat while everyone else was trying to help or at least survive. "How long've you had those powers, mate?"Current HP: 30 / 40 HP

MamaJu's HP: 20/40 Free! - Succeed!Changing her direction with how she was tugging and pulling, she realized her pulling and ripping had stirred the lusii they'd been working on. As the creature freed its self, it was quick to turn on its foe and make its way into the fray. Looking up when Reemus addressed her again, she looked thoughtful before tilting her head slightly. "Um, actually as far as I know I was born with them!" She replied after tapping a finger to her chin. If she'd meant to embarrass him, she didn't follow it up with more pranks. Not just yet, the mischievous grin the other had gotten had been reactionary. It wasn't every day a troll blushed at some one after all. Ephias and Zindel had been a lot a like. On the same hand, Reemus and Estali too reminded her with their more forthcoming demenours. For her, everyone acted more like their caste allowed with very few expections. Every now and then trolls surprised her. Shrugging slightly, not minding the idle conversation. "It's okay if we're ever playing tag or something I won't use them too much. Just so it's on even ground yeah?" He might not have been powered, but his questions earned him her continued blabbering on with him for the now. Without realizing it she had found a reason to not want to simply beat some one in something because she could. That went for everyone she'd met so far, even in their varying degrees of grumpiness and acceptance of her glee. Voscil freed a lusus! It deals 4 damage.

Vremea dealt 1 damage. Vremea had managed to give one of the drones around her a slash in the arm. Hey, at least she was hitting things!

Keionx backed away from the vines, choking breifly on the acrid smoke and protecting her eyes from it's thick blackness.
But she had to keep pressing forward anyway, despite the pain... There were still Lusii to be freed.

Zindel failed in freeing a lusus. Listening to the yellowblood try to make small talk with Voscil, Zindel bristled a little but didn't say anything, keeping to himself and continuing to pull the vines, just a little harder. Sure, he had noticed him blush yellow, but didn't say anything-- it wasn't his place to. Did he, perhaps, like the other yellowblood? Right off the bat?
Wow. What an ignorant kid. She could be plotting his demise and he didn't even know it. Zindel unconsciously wrinkled his nose before looking away, continuing to pull on the vines.

Aw ******** - the jadeblood's skin was glowing again. It was a pity that Alifax had already used his vial of whatever the liquid had been, because it didn't look like anyone was stepping forward now. Well, did it matter? He aimed his meteors and - he'd been about to hit, he'd thought, but jadebloods were more impervious to attack than he'd thought. Hm. ooc info HP: 14/20 damage done: 0 stuff: novice agility b, novice defense b, power which is offense b (all unused) o also his meteors are military grade! c:

Actually, you know what? Dictys was going to stop paying attention to what eir lusus was doing. There were other matters at hand.
