▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Zara wouldn't mind the ride. She had Alex drop her off, but knowing her brother he was probably too high or knocked out in the sofa with a bottle of moonshine in his hand. She nodded, but realized Rigel was a little too tipsy for her liking to be driving. She'll question that later.
Right now, her presence was on popular demand. Her people wanted her.
The performance was certainly taking the wind out of her. Singing and dancing at the same time was no joke. But with the passion Zara had, her time upstage was faster than she expected. In a blink of an eye, the siren was lowering herself onto the stage floor, panting, her hair sticking to her neck and chest from the sweat, laughing and tearing up. It's been forever since she was able to do this. She missed the feeling, she missed the stage and the music and the satisfying feeling of a successful routine. The audience cheered and clapped, but it was Rigel's voice she heard the loudest. The curtains closed and the production manager collected the siren and handed her a bottle of water "Jesus Zara, who's the fan boy? New boyfriend?" The man asked holding back a laugh. Zara opened the bottle of water, let out a breathy laugh and wiped the tears and sweat off her forehead and eyes, "God no. He's cute, though, isn't he? That's a story for another time." she downed half the bottle of water, and hurried down to meet her "fan boy" in the audience.
The little blonde was exhausted, from both the paintball event and the performance. She's stretched herself too thin. By the time she reached Rigel, she was already unhooking the harness she had strapped around her chest. The male - just as before - was unable to look at her. Zara managed to flash him a small smile despite her still trying to catch her breath. She flipped her hair out her face, and successfully pulled off the harness, leaving her with just a bra, "Well, the faster we get out of here, the more you don't have to look, right?" she countered in a breathy voice.
A customer began approaching her by now, despite seeing her with Rigel; something she wasn't expecting. He was bolder than the rest, so it seems, asking how much it would be to separate themselves from everyone else. Zara gave the man a rather condescending smile before responding in a "larger than thou" tone, "You'd go hungry trying to pay for my time. But since I'm in a good mood," she tied her robe around her waist, covering herself up, and slipped off her underwear, handing it to the man, "have fun. I'm going to run to the back and get my stuff. Will I meet you at the bar or outside?"
The siren prayed Rigel picked up on the urgency to leave now. The longer she stayed the more people would confront her. ♢ ♢ ♢ ♢ ♢ ʟᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ The Captain's Deck || ᴡɪᴛʜ Rigel || ᴀᴄᴄᴏᴜɴᴛ $1000 sᴛᴀᴛᴜs Single || ᴍᴏᴏᴅ Focused || ᴡᴇᴀʀɪɴɢ Costume/Lingerie ᴏᴏᴄ - - -

We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is.
Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things.❜▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇○I'm feeling a little tipsy and amazed. ●I'm speaking to Zara at the moment. ○I'm currently wearing the usual. ●I have $200 on me and $800 stashed in the bank. ○I currently have feelings for no one.▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇The performance was still too much for him to handle, and most of the time, he kept his gaze off her. If anything, he’d just stare at the few people next to him though that seemed to have caused quite an amount of discomfort for them. Did they think he was homosexual? He huffed and puffed, before he shifted his gaze to yet another person next to him, and their response was just about the same, though there was one man in particular who seemed just a little.. strange. He’d wink, and shoot Rigel a smile. Oh, an actual one? He doesn’t swing that way, not at the current moment, that is. It seems her performance ended, but before he could escape, he was approached, of course, by none other than that stranger himself. Rigel was a stuttering mess, glancing around as he tried to find an escape route. ”M-m-mister- you’re misplacing your hand!” being all touchy and up close didn’t feel quite comfortable for Rigel anymore now that he was aware of their intentions but of course, he, too, had a way to escape. He’d try to flirt in return, turning them down in a much more pleasant way but it seems his embarrassment came faster than his escape. This time around, he let out a shriek in which left them both in quite an embarrassing situation and without further ado, he dashed away, leaving that man in cold water. Of course, he laid eyes upon Zara as she came out from back stage, and he’d casually make his way towards her as of nothing had occured before. Of course, the stares he was receiving spoke otherwise. ”Your voice is ama-.. zing...” he paused, wondering just what was missing until he noticed what’s left on her body were her.. bra, and what little fabric she has on. He covered his eyes, his face a blushing mess. ”N-NO! Please put some clothes on-..!” he cried out. "Well, the faster we get out of here, the more you don't have to look, right?" he gave her words some thought, and he supposed he has a point. With that, he was finally able to remove his hand from his face, though he kept his eyes off her body at all cost. But one thing he realized, was how a customer had approached her. Was he someone who’s going to drive her home? His words seemed to suggest something rather.. inappropriate though. His eyebrows furrowed but when she tried to remove her undergarments, he’d start to panic again. ”N-no, no- no- cover yourself up- please! There are lots of men here!” he quickly took his coat and once again, draped it over her shoulders. It looked a lot bigger and he’d laugh, but knowing where they were, he stopped quickly after. He somehow knew she was trying to get out of the current situation, perhaps it was because he encountered something similar just moments earlier. ”Oh! I’ll go get my car, it’s a little walk from here. I’ll come back in and bring you out, I guess. It doesn’t seem too.. appropriate to leave you alone? Is it? At least that’s what I was told?” he reached for his car keys, and he’d shoo her off to get herself changed. His sight returned to normal long before, and he had been able to see everything normally since. Driving shouldn’t be too much of a problem, he supposed. He headed out the bar, unlocking his car door and driving it towards the front of the establishment. He’d walk towards the bar once more, waiting for Zara to come out. It seemed a little troublesome if she were to head out alone. He couldn’t imagine just how much they’d pester her. Oh, how tiring that must be, he heaved a sigh. ▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Out.Of.Crocodiles: i just realised how perfectly suited Rigel's ooc picture is for their situation emotion_facepalm

▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The way Rigel would look away so modestly was extremely odd to Zara, but there was an underlying part of her that was somewhat pleased with his self control. Well... in this situation. "Thank you..." Zara was beginning to notice her increasing interest in watching Rigel. There was just something about him that she just couldn't understand, and curiosity always gets the better of her. He was other worldly, truly. He finally removed his hands from his face but he wouldn't look at her. What would happen if he had? God strikes him down and damns him? "You make it hard to believe you've slept with a woman. Such a saint."
Funny how the longer she stayed by Rigel the more eyes were on them. The way he had went out his way to cover her up could easily register as over protective. That explained the production manager assuming he was her boyfriend. Zara found herself practically swallowed whole by Rigel's coat. Christ, was it just her or was the coat super heavy? She knew he was laughing at how oversized the coat looked on her, and side eyed him with mild annoyance.
The man whom approached them smirked and walked off with Zara's panties. The siren couldn't help but judge the man, but said no word. Everyone's got their thing, right? She turned her attention back to Rigel, sliding her arms through his jacket sleeves, "Don't worry daddy, I won't get lost along the way." She lifted her arms in the jacket sleeves, and flapped the excess fabric that hung off. "You're huge..." she muttered, and headed off to the back vanity where she had gotten dressed. She hadn't bothered changing back in the clothes she came in. She just collected them in her bag, and headed out.
Leaving was a bit of a hassle. She was stopped by staff telling her when to show up for rehearsal, the occasional male stopping her in hopes of sparking conversation which she was quick to kill, and the bartender from earlier who Rigel so carelessly insulted asking who the man in the tie was. By the time she was out the door, she was grateful for the fresh air and ocean breeze. Spotting Rigel, she jumped into the passenger seat of his car, pulled her hair up in a messy bun, leaned back, closed her eyes and exhaled.
She forgot how exhausting the job was underneath all the fun. "Whisk me away." she said almost in a whisper. ♢ ♢ ♢ ♢ ♢ ʟᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ The Captain's Deck || ᴡɪᴛʜ Rigel || ᴀᴄᴄᴏᴜɴᴛ $1000 sᴛᴀᴛᴜs Single || ᴍᴏᴏᴅ Relieved || ᴡᴇᴀʀɪɴɢ Costume/Lingerie ᴏᴏᴄ you know, i noticed? i saw it and snorted

Such a saint."He gasped, wondering just what that has to do with sleeping with a woman. He huffed and puffed. Not that he actually minded. He supposed it’s one of his aspects that shows he’s obviously incapable of cheating or develop any feelings to be precise. ”Why is it that I’m not a virgin the only thing you keep pointing out?” he asked, wondering just why that seemed like the case. ”I’ve only ever slept with my wife- why would I want to sleep with anyone else?” he answered honestly, still keeping his eyes off her though he had been casting glances her way ever since she had herself covered up once more. The man soon walked off, and Rigel would involuntarilly shudder out of discomfort. What was that? Were underwears so nice to sniff? His expression was filled with disgust though that was quick to disappear as well. He would freeze up, and confusion overtook his features. Daddy? ”Since when have I-..” he paused, looked up as he gave her words some thoughts, and he’d finally murmur, ”Oh..” that word somehow depresses him in some way but of course, he didn’t let it show. Married for a year and a half.. how old would their child be by now if they had one? One? Two? He heaved a small sigh, and his thoughts would be cut short when the excessive sleeves hung off her hands. It brought back pleasant memories, but they weren’t something he’d like to remember at the moment. He’d simply chuckle, and he’d cast his glance away without another word as she went to collect her items. He was quick to return with his car, though and he’d lean against the car door as he waited for the woman to come out. She scurried out not too long after, and she doesn’t seem too eager to linger around for long. The breeze was nice, though. Perhaps he’d come to the beach a little more often. He stepped into his car, and he’d laugh at her little comment. ”Well, anything you say, then.” and he remained silent most of the drive back, save the few moments he’d ask for the directions. He seemed a little less chatty than usual, and the ring upon his finger felt heavier than ever but nonetheless, he’d try to get his mind off certain things by making small talk. ”I didn’t see much of the dancing-.. Sorry- but have you always been able to sing like that? I’m envious!”▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Out.Of.Crocodiles:

▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ "Because you get riled up whenever I mention it." She replied nonchalantly despite her cheeky intentions. She was satisified with the reaction she got out of him. She hummed in response to his question, supposing he was the type to only be with someone "special" or "important". It fit him proper, and Zara could respect that. It was romantic. In a oure way of sorts. Something the man with her underwear had no concept of. Rigel's general disgust towards him made it worth it. She snorted seeing the look on his face. Welcome to Soleil's nightlife.
Had Zara not been so eager to leave the joint she would have picked up on a slight change of mood from Rigel's shallow sigh. She was already suspecting something after his unexpected scream from earlier. There was something going on his that head of his that was rather concerning and eerie. But alas, she was tunnel visioned on the exit, and considerably desperate to get out of here.
The silent drive allowed Zara to breathe. She had loosened to ribbon around her black silken robe she had underneath Rigel's coat, and exposed a bit of her chest to the cool air of the car A/C. She hummed relatively silent songs to herself. Little hymns and odes she was taught by Aphrodite when she was younger. Her eyes were closed and she found herself finally relaxing after such a busy day. Zara was too deep in her own head to pick up on her company's sullen mood.
"I didn't see much of the dancing-"
"Hmm?" She opened her eyes and glanced at Rigel. Was it her, or did he seem uneasy? The blonde assumed he was still uncomfortable with everything; the club, her get up, the performance... poor thing. "Oh... well... I am a siren, Rigel. Singing is how we survive out in the ocean. Hypnotism a la song. Lure people in and go for the kill..." Zara paused, vividly remembering how it goes. She shuddered, "it's sort of horrific to watch. Glad my parents were strict on maintaining a diet off sea creatures. Can't imagine what it's like to eat a human heart..." her voice trailed off into a barely audible whisper. Shaking the image out her head, she sat up straighter and cleared her throat, "Thank you, anyhow. It's all I'm good at."
Silence fell between the two for a moment, and Zara was really picking up questionable vibes from Rigel. She wrapped his coat around her, pulling up her legs and hugging them in fetal position. His coat was large enough to cocoon her entire body. She watched him for a moment before finally saying, "I'm kinda glad you were looking for me today. I'm happy you found me, too. I would have thought poorly of you for a long while. I would have missed out..." ♢ ♢ ♢ ♢ ♢ ʟᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ The Captain's Deck || ᴡɪᴛʜ Rigel || ᴀᴄᴄᴏᴜɴᴛ $1000 sᴛᴀᴛᴜs Single || ᴍᴏᴏᴅ Relieved || ᴡᴇᴀʀɪɴɢ Costume/Lingerie ᴏᴏᴄ i realized the day change is among us!!! Felix Colton Footsteps could be heard as Felix approached the night club, he liked that this one was more loose in terms of rules. He set foot inside, a cigar in between his lips and his cold hands on his coat pockets. His cold, gray eyes scanned the room as he made his way to the bar stool and sat down. He ordered himself some whiskey and drank away. In times like these he would get bored and visit bars or nightclubs to meet new people however he was quite intimidating and only people who were brave dared to approach him. He liked people who were fearless and brave like that, it was the only kind of people who he could talk to freely and also trust as well. Due to his past life he found it hard to trust people since many wanted him and his family dead. It was not an easy life he lived but he did enjoy the thrill of it for the most part. He could not stop himself.

❁|||||||| ||||||||❁ Carmen parked her scooter and hopped off with a small click of both heels, the deep burgundy color of the leather shoes shifting in shadow as she turned and plucked up her purse. This was her first time in a club like this- one that was a ship renovated into a club, er, lounge. When she heard of the Captain's Deck and what the women were hired to do, she unsurprisingly expected it to be a place for shady sleaze bags. However, according to her uncle, it was more of a high end joint that the suited and thick wallet bearing gentlemen and gentlewomen of the town visited. They were just as likely to pay for private dancers too, afterall, because not just any female was hired off the street. Oh no, apparently the women were as high end as their customers. Carmen caught a bad case of curiosity after hearing that, so prior to restraining and resisting for a while, here she was! She...boarded the ship, her eyes dancing between every detail as her hips swayed with each step forward. She could smell cigar smoke and alcohol, even small traces of perspiration and expensive perfumes. What an atmosphere! The wolf adjusted her hat and thinned her lips into a line, still careful of her bold colored lipstick. The inside held the pinnacle of the laid back jazz lounge image with its dim lights and soft music, Carmen stopping to let her eyes adjust and guide her to the bar. With a glance at one of the only men seated on the side she approached, and another glance at the obviousness efforts of the other patrons to give that particular man his space, the blue haired dancer lifted herself onto a bar stool and pressed her hands in her lap as she leaned forward. "mmm...An apple sour, please." She asked with a click of her tongue and a small tuck of her hair over her shoulder. The order was served under the assumption she'd want a tab, which perhaps would be the case. She was sorta bored whenever she stopped in between shows. This place could be fun, an experience, if she so set out to try one of those 'private dances.' She already had to pay just to get in, she may as well get her money's worth. Taking up her neon tinted drink in one hand, Carmen tipped the glass to her lips and peeked around. All she could really notice was the deliberate distance everyone was taking, her gaze traveling back to the male beside her. No bodyguard had stopped her, so it wasn't like he was someone of significant importance. Not unless she'd simply overlooked? But she'd recognize a famous face -not in infamous one- but a famous one just the same. "You seem to be a special kind of VIP around here, hm?" The wolf inquired as she attempted for eye contact, one brow raised as she did. Home:1216 Pasadena Task:N/A Clothes/Vehicle: This Color ||| Speedy Money:--$$ Mood:Relaxed

Felix drank from his whiskey before looking around once more noticing everyone keep their distance. He quite liked it that way, he did not trust anyone in times like these. He wouldn't be surprised if his enemies were to send and assassin or something after him. It felt strange not to be involved in his usual illegal buisness, maybe he didn't like it as much as he thought he would. His thoughts were interrupted when a woman sat next to him. Felix tried to ignore it as he drank and his eyes looked forward but soon enough he heard the words that were directed to him come out of her mouth and he turned his cold gaze to her, his gray eyes piercing her own for about 5 seconds before looking forwards once again. "Nay...im just a man enjoying some good whiskey." He said as his obvious british accent made it known where he was from. He gave her another look this time scanning her completely. "What about you? What brings a girl like you here?" He said as his eyes showed no fear, barely any emotion even, however he was intrigued by her, normally he would scare people off with some harsh words, sarcasm, or threats.

❁|||||||| ||||||||❁ Carmen wasn't started by the look in this man's eyes, she was more -for lack of a beter phrase- cautiously familiar. It wasn't as if she didn't know there were bad things out there that could make a man look like that, people who were more sheltered like herself simply didn't have to see it in their lifetimes. She had from Aaron on an off chance one day. As relatable and charming as his persona was, a cold, hardened gleam sometimes came over him, if only for a split second. She didn't think the older wolf had ever fought in a war, which was the only thing that came to mind as to the cause of it all. She suspected this much of the accented man as he stared her down before turning away. So she was right that he wasn't particularly worth his spotlight attention, she supposed everyone was scared and nothing more. He had no reason to suddenly hurt her, so why would she be? The dancer only sipped from her drink once more as the stranger scanned her fully, a look of intrigue passing over her before she next spoke. "A girl like me?" There were two things about that statement that she disliked. 'Girl' and 'like her,' she wasn't offended, it was slightly amusing aside from feeling belittling with the 'girl' label, "What kind of girl am I?" She inquired amusedly, one leg crossing over the other. Home:1216 Pasadena Task:N/A Clothes/Vehicle: This Color ||| Speedy Money:--$$ Mood:Relaxed

Felix took a sip from his glass of whiskey before putting it doen on the wooden surface. He looked at her in the eyes before showing a very slight grin. "The interesting and intriguing kind. Not everyone catches my attention so easily. Your eyes also give the impression that you don't scare easily. I get the sense of bravery from them." He said to her before pulling out a cigar but stopping only to look at her and ask. "Mind if I smoke?" He wanted to be considerate as he knew other people did not enjoy the smell of cigar.

❁|||||||| ||||||||❁ Carmen laughed as shook her head. What a nice save, she didn't expect him to handle that so cooly. Usually someone who was tested so initially began to sweat a little- no, not unless they were very smooth and very composed. This man didn't be seem the type to be intimidated, that noted. The wolf did still c**k her head almost sarcastically for a 'am I supposed to believe that' affect. The whole thing sounded like a pick up line, one she'd heard before. 'I'm not usually blah blah, but you blah blah.' She supposed he was only being blunt, afterall it was still a dead on estimation of her daringness. Carmen didn't scare easy, "Well, I've been known to hold my own." If she were ever forced into her wolf form to defend herself, that's when she was going for throats. She wasn't one to throw fists, however, so it was more bark than bite- in a manner of speaking. The dancer shook her head when he asked if she minded the smoking. She was practically already bathed in second hand smoke, she knew that coming in here, so what was one more? "My name is Carmen, it was fun meeting you." She smiled and brought her glass back to her lips, looking away and over towards the DJ booth. Her uncle said he worked here, yet she hadn't spotted him since arriving. Savannah glanced up at him then giggled a little. "It's okay. You're forgiven." She said with a sweet smile before she glanced up at him as he stood up. Her look then once again turned into a smile as she followed behind him, wondering which of the bars they would be going to. So far, she knew of two, but one of them was a night club, and he didn't seem to be the type to go there. Chuckling a little to herself, she just realized she had gone against her own advice of not judging someone. When they reached The Captain's Deck, she tilted her head a little. "Huh. Nice place." She said before she stepped inside with him. Glancing around at the interior, she then headed towards the ball before taking a seat. Smiling at the bartender, she then glanced at the drinks they offered. "I'll have a Hurricane cocktail." She told him.
