Alice squinted her eyes at him. She hated when people put themselves down like that. Honestly if everyone just gave up caring about what people thought, she could see the world being a much happier place, or calmer at least. "Would it matter if I did?" She asked rhetorically, looking back out of the window. Truthfully she didn't find him boring. He seemed to have one hell of a past, not that that mattered, but he also seemed to have life figured out. Abruptly she stood and put her sweater back on. "I'm really feeling this espresso now. I don't want to sit anymore, let's go somewhere else." Alice turned and walked out of the door, waiting for him just outside.

When Jun appeared outside asking her where they were going she thought a moment. Honestly she just wanted to walk. Shrugging she turned and began walking down the street towards downtown Soleil. "If it's fine with you, I'd rather just walk." Alice could get antsy at times and if she wasn't doing anything it would drive her crazy.

The door opened, which was signaled by a ringing of a bell as Nathan stepped into the cafe. He greeted his manager, whom had poked his head out of the office with a wave, along with waving at one of his co-workers that was currently working the cash register. He had decided to take the day off today, and just continue to kick back and relax. The young man walked to the counter as he looked at the menu that was hanging on the wall deciding what he would like to have. Coffee was definitely going to be on the order, but he also wanted something to go with eat to put in his stomach. His eyes went over the menu as he was in thought about what to eat. After a couple of seconds, the young man had decided on what to get for his order. A muffin would go with the coffee, especially since they were fresh in the morning. "I'll take a medium coffee with the usual way I take it along with a blueberry muffin to go with it. That'll be it, thank you." The red eyed young man commented with a light yet tired smile. The person attending the register smiled in return and went to go take care of the order.

It took only a couple of minutes for the cashier to return with his order. They placed the hot coffee on the counter along with the muffin on top of a napkin. The boy reached into his back right pocket, and pulled out his wallet. His fingers opened it up in order to pull out four dollars to pay for the items he wanted along with a couple of extra dollars to put in the tip jar. His co-worker thanked him for the tip before Nate grabbed his coffee with his left hand, and the muffin with the other. He walked over to a table placing the two items onto the surface, before sitting down with his back to the entrance. A yawn escaped his lips, while stretching before he shook it off in an attempt to wake himself up a bit more, although that didn't really work out. "I doubt yawning and stretching is gonna wake me up. That's why I came here for the coffee after all." He thought to himself taking a few light sips of his drink to prevent from hurting his mouth. It slightly burned his tongue, but it wasn't anything too bad, and the light throbbing soon died down. A small smile donned on his face at the feeling of the warm liquid going down his throat, and into his body. "That feels a lot better. Maybe once I wake up a little more, I can think of something to do for the day instead of just sitting around at home. I'll do that next time though." Nathan thought as he took a bit of the warm muffin.

When the bells had gone off, Nathan had really paid attention to it. When he was working at the cafe, he had always looked towards the door to see whom was coming in. If they were usual customers, the young man had a general idea on what to potential start getting prepared to bring out. New people were a different story, since naturally he didn't know what they would have wanted to ordered. Off work was a different story. The red eyed teen tended to keep to himself when eating out especially in the mornings. His family always joked that he really wasn't a morning person when it came to be social. Nathan always blamed it on his brain not being able to think of a sentence to talk to other people. He brought of his hand to rest his right cheek upon it. The coffee was about three-fourths still full, while the muffin had been eaten. The paper it was once in was now crumpled up on top of the napkin.

His hand picked up the coffee in order to drink some more of the dark colored liquid. It had cooled down a bit, but was still a bit hot if one wasn't careful. The light brown haired boy started drinking some of it when he heard his co-worker called out the name 'Chihiro Takada'. His mind didn't register it at first, until it clicked a few seconds later. The image of the blue haired girl popped into his mind, yet the sudden carelessness caused him to accidentally drink more than he wanted to. The cup went back down to the table as he coughed a few times, since it had gone down the wrong pipe. Once it stopped, his eyes started travelling around the cafe to see if it was the same girl he met yesterday. Sure enough, he spotted a dark haired girl in a beret sitting by the window at one of the booths, although it was hard to tell if it was Chihiro considering he couldn't really see her face all to well. His head tilted lightly in wonder if it was her or not. "There's a good chance it's her......I haven't ever heard of another customer named Chihiro Takada come into the cafe, plus she was new here after all........." Nathan reasoned after a couple of seconds, before standing up. He grabbed his trash and coffee, before walking to a trash can to throw away the trash.

His next destination was the booth, and he stopped next to the seat that was across from the girl. It definietly looked like her, but he wanted to be sure. "Um.....Chihiro Takada? I'm not sure if you remember me, but I had helped you with your things yesterday? I'm Nathan Pearce in case that helps." The boy commented in a calm tone, although a nervous chuckle soon escaped his lips. "U-unless of course we've never met then I apologize. I only know of one girl with that name, and you look exactly like her, so I figured it was the same person." Nathan stated not really thinking about what he said, until his brain processed the words that came from his mouth causing him to sigh, while rubbing the back of his hand nervously. "S-sorry, that made no sense in the slightest. It would be you if you have the same name and appearance. I'm still waking up, so I say weird things in the morning from time to time when talking to others." The red eyed teen explained with a bit of a nervous tone along with a light blush adorning his cheeks from the embarrassing situation. ".......what I mean to say is good morning?" He finished in an unsure manner with a small shy smile in an attempt to rectify his morning error. Nate would have sat down if it was someone he knew well, but he wouldn't do so with a new acquaintance unless Chihiro offered for him to take a seat.

Nathan merely tilted his head slightly and smiled a bit at her greeting. He was glad that she didn't seem to mind the error he had made when greeting her or attempt of. His co-workers knew the reason why he didn't really talk to them in the morning, although dealing with customers was different. It only required general set of questions and statements more or less like a script. The young man was also glad that it was the same girl that he had met from yesterday. He still wasn't sure if she was just naturally timid personality wise, or that was how she acted when meeting new people. His own personal thoughts were interrupted when she offered for him to sit down. Nathan blinked a couple of times processing what she said, before his eyes looked at the seat across from her. "O-oh, thank you, Chihiro. It's nice to see you again by the way" The red eyed boy embarrassingly replied, which was evident by the more noticeable color in his cheek, in an appreciative tone returning her smile.

The light brown haired male sat across from Chihiro, and set his drink on the table. The silence between them was a tab bit awkward, although he wasn't too bugged by it. If anything it was a bit welcomed considering his mind was all over the place. He could tell he was slowly waking up, but naturally even with the coffee it was a bit of a process for him. His red eyes looked at Chihiro's brown ones when she asked her question. A part of him was a bit surprised that she initiated the conversation assuming she was timid, but gave a small smile at the question nonetheless. "Yea, I've worked here as the cashier for a few months now. I had taken today off, although decided to stop by here to get out of the house for a bit and get some coffee to hopefully wake me up.......not a full morning person as I'm sure you've noticed." Nate responded in a light embarrassed chuckle. The awkwardness in the atmosphere had all but disappeared for him at the very least. "What about you? How was your first night in a new home?" He asked with an honest tone of curiosity, which was also shown with the tilt of his head, in his voice.

The young man nodded in understanding at her response. It made sense, and he could personally relate to what she said. It took him awhile to get used to everything, and he was still getting used to things if he was honest with himself. The move to Soleil was a big one for him for more reasons than one. A new setting was always nice, but making attempts to move forward with your life was another thing entirely. It took him a few days to unpack, although that was largely due to procrastination. One of his admitted faults, but he made the best of it. He raised his cup to drink some more coffee, which has a more decent temper, before setting it back down. His red eyes directing themselves back at the young woman. "Your welcome, and that's good. I know it takes a bit to get settled into everything, but at least your making progress." Nathan commented with a slight nod of his head.

The caffeine finally started kicking in, and his mind didn't feel as sluggish as it was when he walked in this morning. It was still not fully there, but it was something. The young man let out a yawn, while stretching causing his body to wake up a bit more as well. A sheepish smile was on his lips from the gesture he just did, but it didn't bug him too much. There were some people who were naturally fully awake in a short amount of time, then there were others like him, which took a bit longer. "So what are your plans for today if you don't mind me asking? I know for me personally I'll probably head on back home and just bum around. I don't have anything planned today anyways." The young man questioned with a light shrug.

Nathan heard Chihiro start talking, but she seemed nervous about something. He was a bit confused, but decided to finish off his coffee to give her time to say what she wanted to say. The young man didn't mind being patient instead of forcing her to say whatever was on her mind. By the time he had finished off his coffee, Nate had noticed that the blue haired beauty calmed down after drinking the tea, then replied to the question he had asked a few seconds ago. He did remember that her map had started getting wet in the rain, although didn't know it had gotten ruined. What was more interesting to him was the fact that she seemed to be indirectly asking him for help. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips after a couple of seconds. "If you're asking me to show you where the library is at, I can show you Chihiro. I'd be glad to help, and since your map is ruined. If you need to be show around the city then I can also help with that if you need it." The red eyed boy replied honestly with a light shrug.

A part of him did find the girl to be cute in how she was timid, although the young woman still showed courage in talking to him. Nathan brought up his hand in order to rest his cheek against it, as he looked at Chihiro for a few seconds in silence. "Did you want me to show you to the library, or was I just assuming wrong? If you do we can leave whenever you're ready." The light brown haired teen asked wanting the girl to make the decision for herself, and not make her feel uncomfortable by looking as if he was inviting himself to join her. Nathan wanted to leave the power with the girl in front of him.
