Famine could not help but raise a brow at Kristy and give a small, weak smile. "I vaguely remember you tackling me before, yes... As for following thee around openly, would that not draw attention to you and thine group? My steed, Esurio, is an uncommon animal among these parts, everyone will notice him."
"That is true...And while you pale ones are noticeable too, he is also a lot bigger and more noticeable from a distance... Not really a way to cover him up either..." Myra said with concern.
"Can't you leave the horse behind? Or like, have it follow you from a distance?" Olive said.
The Rider looked back at his sickly looking horse and shrugged. "I shall not leave him behind, but I will see about having him follow from a long distance. Can you do that old friend?"
The horse simply snorted in response and nudged the Rider named Adam on the shoulder.
He nodded and looked back at the women. "Yes I've heard of these pages. Death does not hold his tongue about the topic, even when I ask him too... But you wonder where they have been placed? I do not know."

Mr. Cuddles snorted at the hero's and watched them leave silently as Boris watched over him.
"Are you telling me that you play with s**t blue haired one?" Teef said looking at him. "Oh my. Minus about 1,000 points on the attractiveness scoreboard. And also, don't worry about what Even says. He's just actin' like you all are lowers cuz he's got his own self-esteem issues. But I don't blame him, I'd act like that too if I knew I were the weakest one on the team."
"What? I am not Teef, there's a reason I'm the leader of this group!"
She shook her head and chuckled a little. "Oh hardly. You know I could absolutely destroy you and Boris in seconds. You're only the leader because I prefer not to lead."
Oh dear, sorry to hear that. That kind of thing does tend to put a strain on relationships. I would know, my husband passed away a few years ago. We barely ever talked then, it was rather sad. However, I actually was just talking to his resurrected corpse the other day. This whole messed up time business is rather nice. Perhaps your lover is out there too somewhere? And like your threats would mean anything anyways. I bet I could win a fight against you too.
Abeline smiled quietly as she listened to everyone speak. She herself was feeling rather tired though, and preferred not to get too involved in the conversations. So she kept walking slowly and quietly.
When they arrived at the Cabin, Even opened the door for them and gestured them inside. "Teef, lead the way." He said to her.
"Mmhm." She said as she walked in front of everyone. "This way children." Walking inside, they would see the Cabin was rather plain. All that was in there was a long wooden table surrounded by chairs. On the table was a large map and many little figures and at the window, a man stood there looking out of it.
"General. We've got some rather interested POW's here. They are foreigners to this land. They are pale and lack powers in their minds like the last ones that appeared some time ago."
"Just go lock them downstairs and we'll deal with them later." He said quietly.
Teef shrugged and looked back at them. "Oh well. Hope ya'll like cold floors to sleep on."

'Metaphorically,' Jay replied, obviously finding the idea of actual s**t and using it for any purpse besides flushing or fueling very wrong. 'Actual s**t is like... no. That came out of your body, it's literally what your body don't... Just no.' He grinned and asked, 'Wait so who's what, why, when and where? I probably forgot almost every single detail. Probably. 'Well... not really. I mean, really not really. Don't we get a phone call or something, or is that county jail only? I'm legitimately curious now, never been in a prison before today.' (Question because I forgot - was Jay's weapon taken off of him? Because I can't remember, am tired and need sleep._

At the thought of meeting Lotus again, his mind took a melancholy turn. What had happened was both natural and necessary. That did not mean that it didn't hurt still. I'll have to take your word on that. ...If she is about, I hope we don't run into one another. But enough of my problems; don't you worry your pretty little face about beating me, kitty. In a fair fight, you'd take me apart, no questions asked. I'm probably not the one you should focus on keeping happy, anyhow. Abeline's a bit rickety, but she'll squish your battalion all at once if you finally manage to piss her off.
Keeping thoughts of how fair he would actually fight and what exactly his friend could do carefully blank, he looked around this new place. The command center's serviceable nature appealed to him. It was only a field base, after all. Probably a commandeered house. Ostentation was to be used elsewhere; the main force was to impress on-site. Commander seemed busy, preoccupied. Sending men to command a lynch mob could do that to a body.
The 'child' remark was ignored. He hadn't been a child since he was seven years old. Likewise, he didn't get into the 's**t' conversation. Its uses were disturbingly abundant; most of them quite effective, if one didn't care about their personal state. Having amused himself with exaggeration, lies and half-truth, Scath decided to use honesty for a change. It might throw someone off-guard to know that he was pleasantly surprised. "A clean-ish, flat stone floor? No lumps or sharp stones to poke into your back when you stretch out? Damn damn. You treat prisoners pretty well 'round here, don't you? ...Are there at least vermin? Large, vicious, preferably not too diseased? I get hungry sometimes."
The Rider had retained his little stick, continuing to swish it about idly. Once or twice, he'd gnawed on it, trying to determine a flavor. It wasn't too surprising that it tasted bad. Everything from his plain face, the goofily pleased expression, to the relaxed posture said: Not a threat.

"I have been here since the war caused prices to heighten and the hunger started killing. I try to not pay attention to years...But it has been some time. Perhaps it's been around 27?"
"More like 32 if that's the case." Myra said. The war has hit us hard for quite some time."
"Then so it is..." Adam said. "Ah, but we waste time. Let us be off." The rider began to take lead even though he had not the slightest knowledge of which direction they should be walking. He didn't care though. As he always said. If it is meant to be, it will happen. Perhaps if they are meant to find the pages, they will run into them.
Olive followed for whatever reason and opened the book and flipping to the page that was supposed to be leading them towards the next page. "Okay, so the book is showing me a picture of an abandoned cabin... Not sure how we're supposed to find something like that but...whatever."
"I guess now we search for the page instead of going to a Socialist base...." Myra said with concern "... I suppose that is fine. You all seem very capable of defending yourselves. The picture might be hinting at a ghost town? Even so, I believe we should collect some faster transportation than our feet. As fun as it is to walk extremely far distances, it would take us too long to get anywhere."
"Agreeeed. I wish Cuddles had followed uss." Olive said moaning. "Ugh. Whatever. I noticed in the city you guys had some kind of floating vehicle? Can we get one of those?"
"Certainly. But we will have to steal it."

"You confuse me blue hair." Teef said with a mischievous smile. "You would have nobody to even call on this planet? Unless you called me. In which case, is not necessary. I'll be guarding your jail cell."
I'd ask but, I'd prefer not to know how relationships work with your species. Forgive me when I say I don't believe you when you speak of Abeline. She's kind of.... Super duper old... The lady can hardly walk on her own.
Teef and Boris lead the hero's down the stairs now while the red one stayed up with the general. On the way down, Teef started laughing and looked back at Conquest.
"Yes, did you not know? We run five star jail cells on this planet and nothing less. So if you wish for some I can defiantly release plenty of vermin into your cage. They'll be large, filthy and as ugly as I can possibly manage. And if you ask for it, I'll even make sure they have rabies as well."
Abeline sighed. "Oh SansaraConquest, why did you say that?"
Standing in front of the cells now, Teef threw the doors open to two of them. "Conquest and Abeline in this one." She said pointing to the one on the right. "And Jay and Olive in this other one please and thank you." Boris opened the other cells cage and waited patiently for their prisoners to walk in.
Ah, so I'm going to go get some 'coffee' in a second here. Think you could knock Boris out while I'm gone?

"You mean the Demon of Beasts?" Adam said looking to Kristy. "Ah yes, even if you were no wolf none of you would've stood a chance. Those things are nearly unstoppable. The fact that you've seen one is highly disturbing."
Myra shook her head, slightly uninterested in what she believed was their religious banter. "I know not what you speak of, and nor am I interested in knowing what your demon of beasts is. However, if we are not to travel by flight, we can still travel on land but with mounts. Will that be fine with you Kristy?" She said looking over to her.
Olive was a little put off at the idea of stealing someone's vehicle but her tension was soon relieved when Kristy disagreed to it. "Riding aliens sounds interesting. Hope they're as comfy as Mr. Cuddles fluffy back."
Olive had somehow migrated to the head of the group and seemed to be leading them in a random direction into the city. They were still in an emptier part of town, here and there other slobodians walked or drove to their destinations. The group would, of course, receive curious stares as the grey skinned people walked by. Myra quickly became uncomfortable by this. She wasn't used to being the center of attention, she was the The Quiet Song anyhow.

"Well...You are fairly interesting to talk to. I suppose it would be a good conversation." Teef said as she shut the cell door behind him. "And do not be mischievous blue hair, else I'll have to destroy you. And that would be no fun, would it? No, it wouldn't. Not for you at least. I do enjoy destroying things every now and again..." The blue eyed slobodian turned her attention to Conquest, a giddy smile still stuck on her face.
"Oh dear, no promises on the rabies unfortunately. I have no idea how to make sure they don't have it... But I'll do my utmost best to put you out of your misery if you receive the rabies."
Abelien walked into the cell willingly, at the time being she seemed calm and un-worried about the situation. She was sure they were going to get out one way or another.
Boris the Aware has very interesting abilities. He has the ability of Extrasensory Perception. He can see people and things from vast distances and collect knowledge in ways that I do not understand. His fighting capabilities are basic though. He can lift heavy objects with his mind and manipulate matter from far distances to do his bidding. So he is mostly a brainiac and he shouldn't be too hard to distract.
"There is a fire has started outside the cabin for unknown reasons." Boris said suddenly as he looked to Teef. "Can you go put it out before it spreads Listener?"
"Certainly."
Walking away, the blue-eyed slobodian winked at Jay.
In his mind, he would hear her voice. Nice work.
(And by Jay and Olive I think I just meant just Jay... you know...since Olive isn't even there. o-o)
