(Sorry... been super busy guys... OTL)

At that moment, Sammy was running down the street, as best she could in her heels anyway, eyes wide and terrified, holding what appeared to be a broken appliance of some sort... "My boss is gonna kill me! I-I didn't mean to break his blender!" she exclaimed between breaths. "I have to replace it before he finds out! I hope I can find the same brand..." The store was quite a few blocks away though, and for whatever reason her first instinct was to run there as opposed to hopping on a bus. Weariness setting in, she finally had to slow down and admit her first idea wasn't always her best idea... "Oh...man...I'm...so...toast..." she panted, holding her stomach with her free arm. Suddenly, a faint sound caught her ear, like that of tinkering metal or gears, and she looked up. It was a building she never noticed before. "The Mechanic's...Workshop?" she breathed. "Maybe this place...can help..." Taking a deep breath she stepped up on the stoop and knocked on the door faintly. She couldn't tell if it was open or not, and she hated to be an imposition...

There was an open sign in the window, but it may have been too dirty to see. The mechanic in question heard the knock & stopped what he was working on to answer the door. A few moments later, Arron poked his head out from the door, looking downward at the young woman.
"Oh-Oh! Um... H-Hello... Is th-there something I-I c-can do f-for you..?" he asked shyly. Solsi could see the young man's nervousness & his size as he opened the door wider. He was a very tall man with a muscular build. There was also a considerable amount of grease on his dapper clothing & face.

As the door creaked open Sammy found herself staring at someone's chest rather than their eyes... Moving a little awkwardly, she lifted her chin up...and up...and up...to see what she assumed was the proprietor of the establishment in question. She swallowed, feeling a little nervous all of the sudden. "H-Hi. Hello. Um, I'm Sammy. I work at the cafe down the block and um..." She held out the broken blender. "Checked into work today...tried to make a smoothie...and...this happened..." It was a little embarrassing, she was having trouble maintaining eye contact for very long.

Upon seeing the blender, Arron gently took it from the waitress. He made a small "Hmm..." sound as he examined it.
"Th-This should be-be easy to-to fix Ms. S-Sammy..." he said with a blushing smile, "C-Come on in out of-of th-the cold... & I-I'll get th-this all f-fxed up for y-you."
Despite Arron's shy demeanor, he was fairly friendly & was seemed to be very helpful to most anyone. Unless magic was involved, the Lythcol mechanic did not like tinkering with magic. (It never worked out well for him in the end.)

Sammy held her arms studying his reaction, trying to anticipate if it was good or not. "Really?" she asked, sounding relieved. "Thank you. That's tremendous. Oh my gosh." That blender was top of the line and she probably couldn't afford to have it replaced anyway. Well, not without a few more paychecks under her belt. "I will definitely owe you a smoothie." She stepped into the workshop and looked curiously around, but not moving much farther past the door.

(Psst. You're going to have to tell me what's wrong with the blender for Arron to fix it.)
The workshop was small, dirty, & very cluttered. There were tools, unfinished projects all lying around. Yet, the Lythcol mechanic made easy work of moving & maneuvering around everything. There appeared to be a small kitchenette in the corner of the room, along with a ladder to a loft. Where the corner of a blanket could be seen hanging from it.

"Th-There is a coffee & t-tea, if y-you'd like some." said Arron as he closed the door. He was looking at the blender, wondering what tools he would need to fix it.

Sammy kept her hands to herself, worried she might knock something over or disrupt what appeared to be a delicate system he had in place. She was careful to step where he stepped to navigate the labyrinth of parts and projects. When she got to the kitchen she decided to stay put, folding her hands neatly behind her back and observing his process. "Thanks...I really appreciate this... I was mixing a couple of things and the blades stopped spinning... I think the connection went wonky, but I'm not sure."

He nodded listening to the waitress. It was not long afterward that he started taking apart the blender. Quickly finding the problem, which was the connection between the blades & gears had been stripped. Upon seeing this, Arron pulled his goggles down over his eyes, quickly walking over to a machine to smooth & regrind the connection back to its original form. There was a focused expression on his face.

Sammy watched him at a distance, leaning forward curiously as if trying to bridge the gap a little. It was actually quite fascinating how he knew just what to do...all those wires and parts and pieces just looked like gibberish to her... Catching herself staring, she stood upright again, scratching the side of her cheek and looking around at nothing in particular.

He glanced at Sammy & smiled.
"Y-You can come w-watch cl-closer if y-you want to." he said. Arron was used to having curious onlookers as he worked these days.

" - !!" ... "Smooth Sammy...smooth..."

Moving carefully she crept closer, almost tripping in her heels while trying to work the maze. Making a swift recovery she placed her hand to her heart and sighed, tip-toing even more diligently as she slowly appeared over his shoulder.

"Is it going to be okay?" she asked, partly expecting the worst. "I didn't break it too badly, did I?"

Earlier that day...

"Smoothies? I don't think we serve that...but I can try!"
Hums happily while putting chopped fruits into the blender, plugs it in, turns it on...whole thing poofs black.

O//x//O
"NononononowhathaveIdone?!"

...flashback fades out.

With that question, he shook his head saying, "I-I can fix this... It-It's not the first time th-that a-a blender has d-done this."

Arron began to reshape the gears & motors that had been stripped. There was a lot of noise. About thirty seconds, the blender's motor looked like normal again.

Sammy leaned forward a little, trying to follow along with his procedure, but the repairs were far too small to see at that distance. When things got suddenly noisy she winced a little, sticking a finger in her ear to avoid shrieking and breaking his focus. "Well that's good at least..." she commented in a composed manner, careful not to speak over the sounds. To her surprise it didn't last too long though. While she didn't know much about how blenders were supposed to look on the inside, something about it seemed a lot more promising now. "Sugoi..." she murmured quietly, quite amazed at the rapid repair. Catching herself sounding Japanese again she stood up and facepalmed lightly. Something about starting a new life as a magical girl made these sort of things slip out...

Not hearing the small mumbled, Arron started putting the blender back together. He was quick with his work & made it look very easy. As he pushed up his goggles he said, "Th-That should do it... W-Would you like to-to try it out here..?"
