((Up Anywhere)) Though skeptical as she was, Envy obliged the signs orders and continued on in the direction it pointed...marching ever father in the direction of "THERE". Or was it "HERE"? She wasn't quite sure where she was or where she was going anymore!
But, at the very least the scenery was picking up her interest along the way. More signs of life were peaking through the endless expanse of knotted trees and shifting patches of earth and made the monotony of the walk a little less, well,...monotonous. Mushrooms of every color and varying size littered the ground around the path and upon them tiny caterpillars and the like, eying her with apparent curiosity as she trodded by. If only she could ask them which way to go.
Time again seemed to lose meaning as she lost herself in the maze of the forest moving ever onward, ever onward, toward some destination she could hardly remember.
As her thoughts began to drift from idleness to worry a sign was once again their to soothe her fears. She stared at the wooden sign in utter disbelief..:
"YOU ARE UP ANYWHERE"
"WHAaaat? How is that even ..." Envy stared at the sky now looking for answers, hoping for a miracle. Maybe a magical set of stairs to lead her up away from this confusing maze of misdirection.
