"Get the god damn hell off me!" She screamed out, flinging another hand to hit at a pidgey only to have her opening taken advantage of as once more she was attacked from behind. She was going to get through this. She was going to live through this, then find the dumb a** retard who first dragged her through a bidoof hell and now this god damn cluster of VERY angry pidgey, and she was going to ring him up by his pinkie toes and do very horrible things to him.

Genesis was close now, and she couldn't risk being left behind -- Ajax wasn't exactly the type that could fly off this ship with her in tow. She gave one last look around and ran for the balloon that held a Corbin-looking person on board.

As the battle raged on around her Cadence was still struggling to rid herself of her attacker. The pidgey had managed to pierce her jacket and dig its talons deep into her arm. Tears welled in her eyes as she grabbed at the pidgey with her free hand and tried to rip it away. She never realized just how much talons could hurt!

Spirit missed again. Darn it! Cara thought. She saw Cadence ahead of her when she called back. "I'm working it!" She hollered back. "Ok Spirit, let's try Fury Cutter!" Spirit buzzed back an affirmative and zipped towards an oncoming Pidgey. These things were tenacious.

Cadence managed to free herself from the pidgey's grip but the fight was far from over and she swung her bag again to ward off her attacker.
Amaryllis was busy fighting off another pidgey who had decided she looked like a snack and was unable to go to her trainer's aid.

Eventually Cadence fell to the deck and curled up, her arms over her head and her backpack shielding her from the worst of the damage the pidgey could do. Oh, if only she hadn't put all her pokeballs into her bag for the trip!

He smiled a bit watching her getting really mad at the pidgeys, he could only imagine what horrible things she wanted to do to someone or the pokemon themselves. He tried to strike out and defend himself. He was getting some scratches on his hands but for the most part they were just stalling his advance.

This onslaught was getting ridiculous, and Koorie's vision was slowly becoming tinted red with rage as she unsuccessfully attempted to defend herself. Tunnel vision was going to become a thing soon with her; just her and the god damn rats with wings.
It was becoming really tempting to let Artemis out... really tempting.

The pidgey dodged out of the way again and struck both Cara and Spirit once more. Cara yelled out in pain and then yelled at the bird. "SAY THAT TO MY FACE YOU BLOODY BIRD!!" Spirit hovered there for a moment, slightly shocked at Cara's outburst before getting back to business. She fought back against the next pidgey to come at them with another Dragonbreath.

Cadence shrieked as two more pidgeys joined in on the onslaught against her and Amaryllis. "Ammy! Run, there are too many! We can't win!"
The Raichu however, was determined to come out of this fight the victor and would not be taking no for an answer.

He was finally able to make a hole and then one of the Pidgey's tried dive bombing him but came to a skidding halt as Laz hit him with hypnosis. "Thats my girl!" He ran forward some to get out of that swarm, "Koorie, I am right behind you."

At the latest miss, Cara decided to get into the action. "Ok, no more Miss nice trainer!" She made sure her pack was secure on her back and started punching and swatting at every pidgey that came her way, trying to help her Pokemon out. Clearly this was not a 'one-person' job.
Spirit appreciated the help. The pidgey were very wiley and quite annoying.

Seeing the fight in her pokemon gave Cadence the boost of courage she needed to rise back up from her position on the deck. "Alright you lousy birds! Bring it on!"
Unfortunately, the birds did just that, and she was powerless to stop them as they clawed and pecked at both Amaryllis and herself.

Vaguely, Koorie could hear the familiar voice call out from behind her, but she was so focused on the situation and the pain that was radiating from her arms, back, and head that she bearly registered. Seeing another pair move in to dive her again, she made the snap decision.
"Artemis! OUT!"
WIth a flash of light, the Aerodactyl was in the air, letting forth a mighty cry as the hunter realized how much delicious pray there was around. And the sudden panic from the nearby pidgey was the only distraction Koorie needed to get to her feet and sprint to a balloon, literally diving head first into the basket as her pokemon created chaos after a few pidgey. When she was situated safely, Koorie held the pokeball and recalled the ferocious huntress. "Good girl...."

Pidgey after pidgey were knocked back and another one just swooped in to take its place. "Oh for Arceus' sake! Where the hell are all these Pidgey coming from?!" She hadn't been on the cruise but she had heard about the island full of bidoof, with that on her mind, and the captain being the same one, it wouldn't surprise her if he had flown them straight into some sort of sacred pidgey territory.
