Setting the pom into her bucket of water, Poke hoped up and crouched on the shoreline, trying to use her claws this time to snap up a pom.

Maybe if she took her chances on the ice...
Looking for a pom, she found one swimming close and went to catch it, but as soon as her feet touch the icy pond she was slip sliding to the other side. Like a baws.

The pom had once again made an appearance and Sophie watched it with eager eyes for a few moments, studying its movements and looking for the right opportunity to reach out and capture it.
It appeared her calculations were off because the poms nibbled on her finger before wriggling away. She slumped and sighed.
