Falling wasn't so terrible, at least in her opinion because at least the wind resistance was stabling her as gravity took affect. Her other wing was still in contact, but it shed feathers continuously and the blurred vision from the blood loss wasn't going to save her. She descended closer and closer towards the black aura terrain until at the last moment where she projected what was left of her wind to cushion the impact. Landing on her feet like an agile feline, she erected her body and started up at Umbra. The goth sorceress stared up at her adversary spending her arm out wide acting like she was ready for an embrace. Her pale face devoid of any emotion even when she finally spoke.
"Checkmate. Obviously, you won, right? Sure I could run knowing that this power can maintain a certain distance, but you would catch up to me in no time. I am utterly defenseless. You seem intent on killing me so why don't you do it?"She smirked, waiting for him to proceed to his next offense. There was no doubt that the witch could escape whatever he had in store for her, but only by the wiggle of her soul. That was the only prize he had to claim and even then it wasn't much of a victory. Her soul only contained so much knowledge and experience that could satisfy for only a short amount of time like all witch soul's regardless.

UMBRA ___________________________________________________________ Umbra continued to point the blade at her, his dark hood giving no hint of what he was thinking or even how he was reacting to her sudden comment "smart girl" he started lowering his scythe blade that was pointed at her "and for your information, i did not come here with the intention of killing the indigent population" he said, it was his complicated version of saying he wouldn't kill the ones from the world "so you are not going to die..unless you try something" he told her as he put the blades back on his armor upon his back, they seemed to fit perfectly as they were attached. "you said you'd reveal all that you know....so exactly what do you know..." he asked her, as the aura soon started to dissipate, when it completely dissipated his wings would appear once more, the reason behind his question was aimed at what she knew about what they were looking for, but also information on the world that could be useful in future endeavors he then looked over to Ellise "Ellise, would you mind sharing your healing seals.." ___________________________________________________________ Death
+ Null Zone: with his powers Umbra can great a zone that nulls all abilities this Zone is revealed by a black aura that covers the ground, it must connect to Umbra of course, when he does this it basically surrounds him, if anyone moves into this zone they are rendered unable to use powers, weapons can stay in their forms, but cant activate anything, miesters are stuck only with their weapons, Black Blood and madness seem to shrink down as if they were disappearing, but of course they are not, the only down fall of this ability is that when using this, he can not use any of his powers, since he is in the zone constantly when activated he must rely on his blades to defend himself,(those who are outside the zone can use magic and magic can go through the zone as long as the caster isn't touching inside the zone. another flaw is that this zone can only reach 40 feet around him. (this is meant to make people actually fight him and not..well use their advantage of powers..we can say its the one ability to make everyone almost Human lol) + Wings of Death: as one would see he has wings which seem very faded yet when looked closely seem like they are simply ghostly bones, but in fact is a death aura that is used to help Umbra move faster, this also allows him to levitate around, really despite being an death aura it doesn't hurt anyone rather if people try to attack it they will miss because it will go through as if it was mist. + Curse of the Heavens:this ability is more of a curse hence the name, it can not affect others because this curse is upon Umbra, this explains mostly of who Umbra is, because this is the whole reason behind why his memory is missing before he became a kishin. This Curse is one of the worst curses one could have because what it does is create utter emptiness within the reciprocate, Umbra, with this emptiness ones face will begin to disappear, and eventually nothing will appear, this will lead to many wearing a hood, this hood is the only thing left to hide the nothingness, as its own darkness f the shadow hides the reality of this part, not only will it do this, ones memory will begin to fade until nothing is left, ones memory is sealed away only to be released upon death. the third fault of this curse is that ones voice because a challenge, the voice is completely destroyed but at times a deep echoed voice will take the place of words, but even then it is rare to hear. + Blades of the Heavens: Umbra wields two weapons both of which are exactly alike, when he is fighting, can change the blades to two different elements, Darkness and light. when consumed by Darkness, the blades become Black even the actual blade part, they act the same way but in truth these blades allow Umbra to swing much quicker and harder, making it sound for Offensive. while on the other hand, Umbra can turn them White these are seen as Defensive, they do not move as quick as the black blades, but rather have their own attribute to defend against magic, or abilities well, it cant negate the power but it can lessen the amount of the magic to a good degree. + Crosses of Diablo: as one would picture crosses being the symbol of heaven and good, but these are different, they are what would find hell. they are pure dark energy, rather its concentrated making it much stronger and more dangerous then normal darkness many could muster. Umbra can fire Crosses at enemies, they go in a straight shot, they are fired from the palms of Umbra, and seem to increase size as they move, + Scythe Blade Enraged Fusion Seal:Umbra using the two weapons as matched as they are can bring them together to create a circle, this Circle soon creates what is to be a energy field, as time continues with this circle, the energy field becomes darker,only to become a dark red color, this attack makes everything seem to shake as if an earthquake is happening all of the sudden. in Umbra's view the target must be within the circles view, when this all happens the dark red disappears and appears under the target with what seems like runes and words under them, soon to follow red light which will surround them, this entire event is meant to act like a seal, it can withstand an army of attacks, and has captured many enemies before, powerful enemies. Umbra Never uses this power unless its the final end, where it will end the fighting. the reason behind this is that this takes time to power up, and after using it, Umbra becomes weak to where he can barely stand, still can but its a struggle, making him vulnerable to everything. +(soon to come when needed) +(soon to come when needed)
Scarlet had been watching the fight but turned quickly to Ellise when she heard her. "It's right over there!" She said, happy that someone had finally remembered that she'd helped them find the base. She pointed at a spot a few yards away. "I don't know if that's where the entrance is, but their wavelengths are coming from just below that exact spot!" She gave Ellise a grin. "If we make a hole, we'll bring down the base on their heads! That would be a big surprise for them huh?" She punched her fists together. "So do you wanna start our dig then?" She asked excitedly.

She heard Scarlet then and grinned "Yep." she said as a orb of light appeared over where she said the hole was. It grew in size slightly before it beamed down on the ground, beginning to dig a hole for them slowly but surely. "Hopefully this will work... once this makes it until a few more inches then we can just punch our way through the rest of the hole and land down there." she said. ━━━━━━━━━━━━

Despair would remain quiet and start to float in the air as Scarlet and Ellise began talking to one another about some sort of hideout. This, of course, caught Despair's attention, he didn't really know what they were doing or why they were there, but he also had some things to do as well, "Well, it seems like you all can handle yourselves just fine, so I will be taking my leave." he told Ellise before landing, "If you need my help or just want to see me again, all you have to do is call out my name." he stated, before giving her a smile and then vanishing in a flash of light.
He sure had a humorous way of displaying mercy towards a witch of her caliber. She wasn't going to lie to herself knowing full well that he could execute her within a minute. In fact, Umbra went so far as to conceal his blades and relinquish his neutral field of indifference. Complimenting her wasn't flattering in the least...who was she kidding of course it made her blush inwardly. The male must have assumed she was part of the population of this alternate universe when in reality she tracked the students here by the head witch's assistance. This was her real first mission, which was to recon the students even though his secretly benefited her needs more. Her plans to conquer the academy of both fractions and rule them as her own was still in motion. Only her and one significant other new about this hostile take over.
Remembering Umbra's recent questionnaire and diverting from her thought, she answered, "What would I try? Wouldn't I had already tried once you let down you guard? Seems pointless now, does it?" Her arms loosened their tightly locked positions and hung at her sides. He validated her previous statement and with a shrug Claudia once again answered. "All I know it that I'm here, I fought you, and the rest of your ally are morons. That's the present situation. The past and future hold to much details for my taste and I never said I would specify on what I told you." Crossing her arms and scoffing, she began to walk past Umbra acting like their encounter never happened.
He was pathetic asking for help from one of the most naive girl on the team. She knew he wanted an expanded explanation and would stop her eventually even with force.

Tara changed her arms back to normal, then proceeded to tap Ellise on the shoulder. "Ummmm Ellise? I can just use my soul menace to break the ground apart. Do you want me to try that? It would probably make it go a lot faster." Now that there was no danger anymore, she could feel herself slowly retreating back into her timid exterior.

A nerve in Tara's forehead pulsed slightly at the witch calling them morons but she left it alone. Blowing out a breath of air, she cracked her knuckles and made her way towards the hole Ellise had started making. Closing her eyes, Tara stayed silent for a moment before raising her foot and slamming it down on the ground. A crater soon formed radiating out from where she stood. All around her was nothing until it hit where the outside of the hole was before. Only a small strip on land that she stood on remained. Opening her eyes, Tara turned her arm into a chain scythe and swung it towards Scarlet and the others. "Hey could y'all pull me over, I don't want to be still standing on this when this collapses."

I guess it doesn't matter because in a couple of weeks new "improvements" will be arranged and all of you will be left to dust up on the shelves. Death doesn't care about anyone that can't achieve perfection." She could clearly see that one of the girl's used her insult to fuel in anger and control it to her advantage. The ground rumbled as deep cracks were made in the earth's crust from Tara's emphasized attack. The woman studied her balance so she wouldn't fall and let her wings once again protrude out of her back. She flew into the air and got ready to glide past Umbra but stop instead. Staring at him, she asked, "Why are you even subjecting yourself to this torture. You'll powerful and these kids are holding you back from your true potential."

Scarlet caught Tara's chain scythe as she tossed it to them. "Okay! Just don't get any heavier or I won't be able to pull you out!" She teased. She gripped the chain scythe tightly, her resonance force raising high enough to pull out Tara on notice.
━━━━━━━━━━━━ Ellise sighed "I don't think that woman knows we aren't from the academy..." she muttered, beginning to get annoyed by her talking down to them. She snapped out of it and helped Scarlet pull Tara up. ━━━━━━━━━━━━

While Scarlet and Ellise pulled, Tara worked on climbing up the chain to make the process go much faster. Once she was on solid ground, the spot where she was previously disintegrated. Heaving a sigh of relief, she turned towards the others. "You guys ready?"
