*Shortstraw and keria ran outside as Theador pouted too, "but... wont you ever come back to stay? You can't just... leave us behind." He sobbed. Meanwhile shortstraw ran after the kids and before kyle would leave he called out, "Kyle Wait!" He wanted to say somthing to kyle, being he was away form his familiy, he knew kyle had other plans, other intentions. He felt the need to talk to the kid... at least to try.
Veria however looked to demi, "aunty... what about your son. He speaks of not staying with the two of you. Do you kno why? Can you get him to join us again?"

Kyle smiled to both Evelin and Theodore. "I'm not leaving you behind at all. I love you both dearly, you know. I'm always watching over you two. Making sure you're safe. If you're ever in danger, you'll see me again." Evelin was stubborn to comply but she knew this meant she'd just have to get herself into trouble to get Kyle's attention. Kyle went to hug them both tight before he looked back to Shortstraw. Kyle was worried that this wasn't going to be as smooth a goodbye as he hoped it would be in the start. Not now that the other adults were here too. He however kept a plain expression as Shortstraw neared them. "Oh, mister Yokai." He smiled weakly. "I suppose you figured out that I'm not sticking around." Kiiro monitored Kyle's supressed aura from one of the upstairs windows. Oh if only she could see him.
Demi looked around. "I wasn't aware that... He wasn't staying.." Mordekai pulled a face. "What?" Demi blinked. "There's been no problems with him.. He didn't say anything about not staying with us." She got to her feet worriedly. "He's been so happy.." Mordekai sighed. "We found that Kyle has a natural talent for lying, Demi. He keeps to himself a lot. Wouldn't ever tell me anything."

*Shortstraw cought his breath, "i think i get it. What your doing. I'm not going to hold you back, but i would like to tell you somthing i'm sure you already heard or expect. Theres a fine line to do somthing as amazing as to get your mother back and continuing to grow in power. Your a powerful kid, always will be can't deny it. I just wanted to tell you, know when to say it's enough okay. Dont go too deep, or your find more then sorrow and pain." He patted evelins head, "and when that time comes make sure you at least respect where you come from and your familiy wether us, or your mother and father. Becuse in this world, or any world. We'll always be here." He winked. "Untill next time... oh and... dont think your unwatchable..." he chukkled, "veria's probably going to take finding you as a challenge. It may take a while, but she's been watching you for a while, i think she likes you." He chukkled and theador when to pull kyle fourcfully towords them but shortstraw stopped him and held him back. He squtted down and held back his kids in each arm, "lisen you two theres a time when a man has to do somthing and make a decition for himself that will influence his entire life. This is his decition, let choose his path." He hugged both close and looked up to kyle. Meanwhile at this point of course he was sure the others, keria, demi, mordikei, and veria would be running up to stop kyle.

Kyle smiled. "Thank you." The others had rushed up but Kyle backed away anxiously. "Kyle.. Sweetie you aren't staying?" Kyle knew his mother would be the one to speak to try to make him feel guilty. Mordekai frowned. "I haven't seen you in so long.." Kyle nodded and kept his expression clear. "I'll be plain with you both, I had no intentions on coming back when I brought mother back from the Shinigami realm. Not to mention.. It tired me out. I would like to rest for a while. Father, you have what you wanted now. Please don't be sad anymore." Mordekai pulled a face. "Kyle we have the chance to be a family again." Kyle folded his gloved hands into his large coat pockets and shook his head with a small smile. "I'm sorry. That ended a long time ago." He looked up. "I've decided what I'm going to do." He took another few steps back but Demi wasn't eager to let him go as she teared up a little. "Kyle.." Kyle smiled. "You have father. He's spent too many nights upset over you to be sad now. The last thing I want is to make any of you upset." He suddenly smiled. "And Veira." He grinned over to her. "Game on." He suddenly erupted into a blaze of bright red flames and disappeared from sight. Evelin didn't understand why auntie got to play with him and she didn't.

*Shortstraw gave a small smile but it faded quickly so the others didn't see. He stood up, "theres a time every man makes a decition. Just like the man before me, and the man before him. It's his turn now." He looked back to demi an mordikei, "just belive in him and stand strong. If he didn't love you so much, he wouldn't have done all he could to make it so you two were together again. Just give him the time he needs." He walked over and patted mordikeis side, "it's time to trust in your son." He winked, being this was exacly what shortstraw both warned, and predicted would happen before to him. In the end so far, shortstraw was right.
Meanwhile Veria blinked then burst out laughing, "heehee dont worry uncle i'll do everything i can to find him." She looked to shortstraw, "thanks for speaking for me." Shortstraw chukkled, "i knew you were lisening, and i knew exacly what you would do anyways." Veria nodded, "yea well i'm vary cerious on what he's up too, and what that void may truly hold. Who knows, if i win maybe he'll come back with me." She clapped and rubbed her hands together, "auntys got some work to do."
Theador on the other hand was trying so hard to take in everything and process it. He then whispered to Evelin, "do you remember what he said? We will see him again." He nodded, "and then i get to show him how strong i've gotten!"

Evelin looked a little sad as she looked to the spot where Kyle had disappeared again. "I don't understand... it's a man thing?" She didn't understand boys. Why was this so important? Wasn't it just easier to stay with everyone else and be safe? With his mother and father? With her and Theodore? She didn't understand. Demi went and attached herself to Mordekai's arm. "Surely... surely he's too young.. he doesn't know how to look out for himself.." Mordekai looked to Demi tenderly. "The boys mind aged quicker than his body, Demi. He's become so intelligent over this short time. It makes me wonder to be scared of what he could become." Demi smiled and kissed Mordekai's cheek. "Our last son was the same." Kiera went and scooped up both Evelin and Theodore into her arms although now it was almost hard because they' were getting too big for it. "Come on you two. You're barely wearing anything." She smiled.

*Shortstraw agreed, "come on everyone lets get inside before someone gets a cold. And even more so i need to go find evelyn and say good morning." He chukkled. He always said moring to two people no matter what, evelyn, and keria. His two girls, even though he was sure he would be loosing one in time. And so once inside he begain to search for Evelyn. Meanwhile theador struggled alittle in his mothers arms, "momma will i have to do what daddy said one day?" He didn't understand it either, however alittle more then evelin he guessed. Also shortstraw had to ask, "btw are you two going to be staying with us now that your back together or are you going to head on home?"

Demi smiled. "I think it'll be nice to stay for a few more days and then go back." She looked to Mordekai. "I'm sure Japan isn't doing well without your leadership." Mordekai sighed. "They'll kick me out of the job if I'm not careful." Demi kissed his cheek again. "They love you too much. I'm sure they won't be doing that anytime soon." Kiera smiled to Theodore and shook her head as she headed back inside. "Not if it's not necessary. Most of the time men glorify this decision to become the turning point in their lives. It's when they're presented with a choice. It may come to you or your sister as time passes. Who knows. It's not certain. With Kyle it just came sooner rather than later." Evelin frowned. "I still didn't want him to go.." Kiera nuzzled her head. "I know sweetie. But you'll see him again." Evelyn came down the stairs and spied Kiera just coming inside and the others still outside. "Did I miss a party?" She asked tiredly. Kiera looked up to Evelyn. It was almost a miracle to see her these days. Evelyn was either always in her room or out of the castle except of course when Shortstraw called her and even then she wasn't in the greatest of moods. Because of this Kiiro was away from the castle more and more often, feeling the guilt for Evelyn's sudden change in mood. "It was Kyle. He brought Demi back." Evelyn nodded uninterested and disappeared into the kitchen.

*Shortstraw appeared int he kitchen, "there you are i was trying all the rooms in the house looking for you." He chukkled, "good morning." He smiled, "there my jobs done." He however wasn't too light on evelyn these days as he rapped a arm around her, "so... whats on your agenda today? I think we have all been making alot of progress with things latly... all but the lazy kitty of course." He teased.
Meanwhile theador thought about it, "ohhh like when a boy become a real man!" He thrust his little musles again, "grrrrr." He laughed, "i didn't know girls get to do that too. Daddy never mentioned that momma." He however looked to his sister, he feared things would be alittle diffrent even more now with her. They have become quiet close latly, evelin would be on his arm alot, and he always acted tough for her, meanwhile he was always following her when she was doing somthing jus tin case so he didn't miss anything.

Evelyn knew it was pointless to free herself from Shortstraw's grasp and so she didn't bother. "I'm not lazy. You just think I am." She yawned and brushed her hair aside so she could rub her forehead. "If we aren't doing anything important today I think I'm going to meet Colin in the town square midday-ish. He wanted to take me out to eat." She smiled a little then shook the expression from her face as she eventually freed herself from Shortstraw and went to go and lean against the counter. Kiera walked into the kitchen after putting Evelin and Theodore down with a small smile. "You two have been doing these little dates for weeks now. You can't keep denying that you don't like it. Or maybe you just like being flattered like that." Evelyn scowled and looked away. "Maybe it's just nice having a change of pace." Evelin looked to her brother. "It must be a bit different for girls." She shrugged. "I guess." She looked pretty sad but went to go and hug his arm. "When you become a man... don't leave me behind.." Or rather she wouldn't let him.

*Theador thought about it, "well... okay i guess i'll take you with me." He smiled happily, he rather loved it when evelin was on his arm, mad him feel important and protective. "But same thing to you too... wanna go play?" He asked.
Meanwhile shortstraw looked away and crossed his arms, "i do hope it doesn't get too serious..." He knew eveyln knew he didn't like that other guy, but still he never made her not do what she wanted. It was her decition and he respected her enough to agree to the fact that she may become this mans lover and run off with him wether he liked it or not. He was afrade if he went too far, she would just leave and not come back unless a situation demanded it. He always tried to put these little grumpy things in though, just to show he cared.

Kiera grinned. "I think you're just jealous that someone's stealing your kitty away." Kiera prodded Shortstraw's cheek and stuck her tongue out at him playfully. Evelyn smiled a little as she thought of Colin. "In all props, I have known him for longer than you, Shortstraw. Many many years ago we were going to be married." Kiera giggled. "Until you killed him." Evelyn sighed. "Seems not." She thought suddenly. "That reminds me, today I was meant to ask him what exactly his monstrosity was. I never got to ask." Kiera brought her hand to her chin. "Something that sheds skin."
As Kyle found his way into his void again he was greeted with the neverending world of blackness that he'd grown accustomed to. In a flash the blackness was suddenly a warm meadow, with butterflies and all varieties of bugs flying around like the middle of summer. He laid down in the grass and stripped off his warm clothes with a small sigh. "Not a fan of the snow, I guess." Kyle sat up and found Kiiro sitting in front of him, cross legged. "How'd you-" "I've been here once I can come anytime I like. I suppose you haven't got to the void section in that book mister Chris gave you yet." Kyle relaxed and shook his head. "I'm getting through it. It's in an ancient language so it's taking a while to translate." He cocked his head at her. "So do you want to stay with me yet?" Kiiro smiled a little. "It's unfortunate but I may be bouncing between here with you and the castle. Even though they've made it apparent that everything's fine I still feel an uneasiness of unwelcoming from them."

*Shortstraw sobbed, "it's not fair your suppost to be my kitty not that guys!" He grumply glared, "what happened to you wanted to forget your past? You better not forget about me." He looked away stubbernly, "and maybe he's a lizard man or somthing retilish like veria is a snake. She sheds skin also." He added as he looked to keria. Surly keria would have been okay with all this, this men shortstraw would be all hers again... but still he feared the loss already like he was holdin gher back aginst her will. Thus why he didn't really call for her to often latly. And so he found himself fiddling with somthing off the counter.
Theador however was erging his sister to come with him to the backyard, which was now fenced in and shortstraw basicly said they could go out there whenever they liked. Course they would have gotten dressed first but every day they would train together at least just a little. "Hey sissy... what do you think about... the new girl?"

Evelyn scowled to Shortstraw. "What happened to 'you should embrace your past!' or 'I want to know everything about you!' attitude you had. Don't make me feel bad because someone from my human life has come back into the picture. Besides, I'm just an add on anyway. I'm not your wife, she is." She pointed to Kiera. "I'm just some mistress you liked to sleep with every now and then." She walked out of the room stubbornly and out of the castle.
Evelin fumbled her hands together and looked to the ground. "I haven't... seen her much.. She made me feel weird first. But now I just wanna talk to her." She looked up. "Do you think she'll play with us sometime?"
Kyle scratched his head. "Well I'd be lying if I said I didn't know that feeling." He smiled to her. "I didn't feel like I belonged there." Kiiro nodded slowly and lifted her head. "What.. what's that behind you?" She obviously felt the presence of the small transparent bubble that floated next to Kyle wherever he went in the void. This bubble showed Evelin and Theodore at all times. "Oh, that's my little spy." He moved the bubble into his palms. "I use it to watch the twins." Kiiro nodded. "You've always cared greatly for them."

*Theador nodded, "Thats what i was wondering. She is kinda weird, but maybe she just wants someone to play with." He smiled, "i think we should go find her and see if she will play with us." He nodded.
Shortstraw shied sadly and looked down, "i think i just messed up." He looked to keria, "we're going to loose her arn't we..." He hopped off the counter, "i want to be happy for her, but... i dont know i guess it's personal to me too that she found somthing else." He shrugged, "i guess i just have to deal with the fact Evelyns going to move on huh." He hugged Keria.
