Yay! My baby won! But he needs to stop hugging on that tartlet so he can receive his prize! He's won a wonderful all-expenses paid date with his lovely dance partner, who needs to step away from Himeros.
Himeros, darling, go back to your date please.
Ahem. The winners of the first annual Dancing with the Erotes contest is Eros and Diona! They have been awarded---
*Anteros interupts*
"Mother, not to be a sore loser, but I'd like to point out that not only is Eros married, but so is his partner."
"So?"
"Mortal souls bond with marriage. It's a betrayal."
"I still don't see your point, honey."
"She's married, she shouldn't have even qualified for this contest."
"Details, Anteros, details. Don't be a sore loser."
Anteros looks at Yukiko, so beautiful, such a talented dancer. How bad he would have loved to win the date, but instead his spiteful mother chooses to rig a contest so her golden boy can win, even if his partner didn't even qualify. "I'm sorry, sweety." he took Yukiko's hands in his and kissed the backs. "We placed second, which is amazing!"
After several moments, Venus hefted a sigh. Her plan this year foiled, so she better save face. "Anteros, darling, you are right. Eros, you and your partner are disqualified. Anteros and Yukiko win. You two will be the King and Queen of Valentine's Day and receive our trophy."
((The dance was a tie with 34 points each. The tie-breaker method was to use the highest of the judges scores. It was 28v27 in favor of Eros+Diona. Because technically both Eros and Diona are married, they can't breed outside of their marriage, so we're going to award the title and prize to Anteros and Yukiko.
However, because Wolfs Heart's pae did place first, we're going to allow her to still receive the breeding prize with a different erote, of her choice. And Anteros is there if Diona wants a divorce. razz ))

Iris Topaz Clapped for the newly crowned cuple. They looked so happy together and even the others there looked happy. She sighed as she got up to leave not wainting to stay for the next dance she had a feeling it would make her feel worse than she already did

Yukiko clapped politely as Eros and Diona were declared the winners. She would have loved to have won, but rules were rules. She blushed and smiled as Anteros apologized to her, though she couldn't for the life of her see why. Second place was much more than she could ever have expected out of this dance! "Oh no, please don't apologize!" she said with a squeeze to the hands that held hers. "Second place is indeed wonderful, and it's more than I could have dreamed!" She was gushing, and the next words that tumbled out of her mouth caused her cheeks to redden even further. "I'm just glad I had the opportunity to meet you." She smiled, her heart beating fit to burst from her chest. "It was lovely dancing with you," she murmured, sure that she would never see him again after this night was over.
Venus' next words caught her completely off guard. She was disqualifying Eros and Diona? That made her and Anteros the winners! In a burst of happiness, Yukiko threw her arms around Anteros' neck and giggled. Catching herself a moment later, she released him, her entire face redder than it had ever been in her life. "I'm so sorry! I'm just so excited, I don't know what came over me," she explained in a rush, her hands on her face in a mostly failed attempt at covering her blush.

Diona looked up at Venus hopefully, they had won?! She was going on a platonic date! Oh... with Eros... she looked over at Eros, she was just going to have to make the best out of this. Diona winced at mention of "the m-word" why did someone have to bring that into the picture. She was right with Venus on this one, so what? It was one of their faults she had that status anyways.
Diona sighed as she listened to the back and forth between one of the gods and Venus, she would have liked to sneak away quietly now. For a moment, it seemed that Venus agreed with her, she was still going to be queen. Diona grinned at herself, she imagined a crown would look good with the dress she was wearing. Then, Venus changed her mind and Diona was snapped out of her dreams of grandeur. But... but... Diona begrudgingly applauded for the couple. Ach, why was she married again? She really needed to fix this...

Special Date - this will result in a breeding with one child, a demi-god. Hymnaios + Diona (Wolfs Heart)Special Date - this will result in a breeding with one child, a demi-god. ((Winners: You don't have to RP the date, but if you would like to, just let us know. Diona does need to get a divorce before her date.)) This is an event we'd like to start doing each year in addition to our normal Valentine's Day chaos. So anyone who plays a Grace, Erote or Deity, we do expect participation. Because it was our first, there were kinks, but next year, expect it to be improved and more streamlined. biggrin
