Bouncy_Pineapple It was a good thing that the group decided to stop for the evening, since Lizzie felt like her legs were about to fall off. At least her Pokemon was doing better, all asleep and snuggly in her Pokeball. They didn't pick a bad spot for a camp either, though the cave was starting to get a little too crowded for her tastes. She wandered over towards the people around the fire and sat down, not saying a word. She just wanted to warm herself up for a bit. "What are we going to do for food?" Lizzie asked after a moment of silence or two. "If there's a stream nearby, there could be some edible plants growing down there. Fish too, if we're lucky enough to catch them."Fifi excused herself from the group in the cave and wandered over to the group around the fire in the meadow. Sitting down next to another girl, she shrugged at the question. "I'm not sure, but I'm happy to help," she offered.

Jade nodded, pulling out a folding ax from her bag. "Aye. I'll cut if you'll gather? Or we can do it t' other way around if you'd prefer. It's all t' same t' me." She led the way a little ways back, leaving the pokemon at the camp, back to where she had seen some half dead trees. They were dying anyways, and so she didn't feel like that would hurt anything at all. It wouldn't take them too long to chop and gather up the wood, and before too long, they were able to return back to camp.

Sakki was getting bored in the cave and it was crowed. She didn't really care for this many other trainers and their pokemon. She moved her way to the mouth of the cave and moved out of it. She would be back, but she needed room to stretch. However she did dislike the cold she disliked not being able to uncoil worse.
She'd take a bit of a 'walk' and then return to the warmth of the cave. As soon as she was comfortable enough she would return to her discomfort zone. Moving away from the entire group she found a nice clear grassy spot to stretch her entire length.

"Whichever works. I can carry." Jack wasn't affronted by heavy loads really. She worked out enough. She followed Jade briskly, stretching out. It should be a quick effort, with two people. And wood meant fire, and cooked food.

"Do you want to help look for a stream then? Or any place we can find food, really." Lizzie asked the two people that had answered. She didn't want to go by herself before, but if there was a small group on this food expedition, then it shouldn't be so hard for them to find something. Standing up and brushing some dirt off of her pants, she said to the rest of the people, "If anyone else wants to find food with us, we're leaving right now..."

Juno retreated a little farther back on the trail from the rest of the group, seeking out a spot shielded enough to be out of the wind, but still within sight of the others. She lifted Desdemona from her lantern and set her on the ground. "Give us a Will-O-Wisp, darling." No kindling required. With a melodious keening, the Litwick summoned up a cozy, enchanting blaze of purple-blue light. "Lovely," Juno praised her Pokémon, though Desdemona had once again become fully occupied with the night sky. The woman set her pack down and lowered herself gracefully to sit atop it, tilting her rapier up behind her so it wouldn't run headlong into the ground. Juno unpacked dinner for herself and Desdemona. Perhaps anyone who had not yet found a place around a campfire would join them.

It took some persuasion, but Dora managed to convince the grass-inclined Doduo head to go along with her and the cave-inclined one to bed down out of the wind. While she didn't have a bag of doduo-specific feed, the trainer did have pokéchow on her, and she was more than willing to give some of it to each head. "Poor dear, you don't have to go back there if I have anything to say about it," she said, stroking the birds heads with each hand as it nibbled away.
Meanwhile, Mordred decided to temporarily give up his quest for shinies to enter the cave and demand food. Dora was more than happy to oblige.

Turning from making her camp,Keria moved over to Lizzie. She waved when she saw Fifi next to her. "I'm about to set up a fire and start cooking, water would be good because then we could make a stew or something a few fish wouldn't be bad either. Maybe our pokemon can help catch them?"

Arwen nodded his agreement and rose again. Admittedly, he hadn't traveled much before, and didn't trust himself to be able to find edible plants, but he'd do what he could.
"I'd be glad to help," he said, stepping closer with a timid smile. "My name's Arwen."
((Doop just having this go really slowly since Panda posted in the main thread and it looks like they need to be in the area to partake in the event? XD))

As Shaun headed back to the campsite with George, he answered, "I was planning on the grassy field, too. Salvo takes up a lot of space, after all. And I travel a lot, I'm used to sleeping out in the open." When they got a fire going, he set his pot of water on the fire to boil. "I found a stream," he explained, "but it's best to boil the water before using. You can never tell if it's safe or not. I have some water purification tablets too, but I don't have too many so I'd rather save those for drinking water." When Tygress came over and introduced herself, Shaun waved to her. "Welcome, I'm Shaun. Come on over, there's always space around the fire as far as I'm concerned." When she pulled out soup and tea supplies, he offered, "I have some dried beans and vegetables that could be added to a soup, too. I only have a pot big enough for a couple servings, though. Do you have another one?" Someone mentioned looking for a stream and he said to the group at large, "I found a stream a little ways that way." He gestured towards a rocky path that headed in the right direction. "Dunno how fast it is to get there on foot, but I can be there in a moment on Salvo. If anyone has a bucket or more pots, I can fetch more water. It's probably too dark to fish, though I can bring someone over if they want to try." Salvo settled down to rest for a moment, then looked over at Tyr. <"Hi Tyr, I'm Salvo,"> he said. <"Flying? It's..."> He has to think for a moment. <"It takes a different kind of effort than walking. Probably more work than walking, and I walk a lot more than I fly. But It's nice seeing things from a different perspective sometimes.">

" Alright." Didn't matter to her, she could chop as easily as she could carry. It didn't take to long to cut a decent amount of wood, as Jade was used to that sort of work, and she gathered up an armful before making her way back towards the camping area, figuring that Jack would follow if she wanted. " Hey, Cadance. Mind sharing your fire?" She was hoping the other girl would, she wasn't looking forward to trying to build one on her own. It wasn't one of her skills, and she'd much rather join someone at an already built one.

Kurai was glad to be among friends again...though the Murkrow eying the decoration on her cold-weather clothes made her giggle. She'd give him one of the smaller bits later. But for now...the group plodded along, chattering and keping warm as best they could. She swore someone even managed to snag a Pokemon. But as time passed, the sky grew dark. Things began to get settled, and people began to hunker down for the night. Kurai watched the Murkrow go to join his trainer...and Kurai was inclined to follow. Spending the night in a cave sounded more appetizing in this cold weather than out in the open. Once inside, she slid off Hissy Cow's back, keeping her hand on the Miltank's back. "I hope you all don't mind another pair of warm bodies."

"Hello!" Cael called back to Arwen, making his way towards them as the camp came together. As soon as he saw Parth he he gasped. "I've never seen a yellow one!" He exclaimed, kneeling and holding out his hand "C'mer, boy! " he coaxed. Cloudrunner watched the golden poochyena with amusement as the smaller pokemon circled, but when she approached Cael her eyes narrowed. If this was another friendly wild pokemon, she would certainly have to interfere. ((I'm so slow, I'm sorry!))
