Bruce smiled into the phone, “no. I had the worst day ever tony. I hated everything about it.” he said oozing sarcastic, “unless you haven’t realized that was sarcasm, complete lie.” he said with a grinning into a phone. “it was the best day ive ever had.” he said continuing his trend of blatant honesty.
Tony belted out a laugh at the other teen's humor. Then he gave a soft croon, warm fuzzies filling his body. "Well, don't be surprised when tomorrow ends up replacing today as the best day you've ever had," he promised. "It's gonna be awesome."

“i think you might just be right about that.” he said with a happy smile, throwing his hand behind his head and shifting around his bead trying to get more comfortable. ” i dont think you realize how happy i am about tomorrow.”
"So happy we're just gonna stay up all night talking about how happy you are?" Tony ventured a guess with a smirk, remembering their earlier prediction about calling one another to remind the other to sleep.

“no” he replied, “cant do that… you know, ive got a date tomorrow.” he said yawning, “and i feel like if i fall asleep on him he might be a little frustrated with me.” he said laughing.
"Nah," Tony waved his hand dismissively, despite Bruce's inability to see him do so (sometimes he gestured a lot when he was on the phone). He heard the little yawn and it burst bubbles of d'aww in him. "You should probably get some rest though, let your immune system do it's thing on your rib," he said. "I promise I'm good now, so yeah."

Bruce yawned again “noooo, i dont wanna hang up” he said pouting and rubbing his eyes. “its only… what… 10:30.” trying very hard not to yawn again.
Tony's lips upturned softly at the sentiment, first because it was super freaking cute. Second, because it totally reminded him of an Aerosmith song. Would it be dorky to sing it just out of nowhere? Oh, who the hell cared. So he started softly on the chorus. "I don't wanna close my eyes... I don't wanna fall asleep... 'Cause I'd miss you, babe, and I don't wanna miss a thing..."

Bruce smiled sleepely when tony sang to him. “you… you really are perfect.” he said unconciously curling himself into a ball and yawning. “i like that song.” he said smiling.
"It's one of their sappy ones, but it's good," Tony said gently, wishing he were there to give Bruce's hair a ruffle. It sounded like the kid was nearly to dropping off to sleep. He hummed a few bars lowly, rocking back and forth.

Bruce smiled, “i miss cuddeliiiiiing..” he said baraly coherent anymore. His eyes were getting heavy and he was really tierd. “you’re a good cuddler.”
Yeah, if you liked cuddling scrawny kids with hunks of metal in their chest. Tony almost laughed, but held back. "We'll cuddle tomorrow, I promise," he said, pressing his ear tighter to his phone so he could hear Bruce's words as they grew softer and softer.

Bruce smiled, “prommmise babe?” he asked opening his eyes very rarely and trying so hard to stay awake though he just couldnt make himself do it.
"Mmhmm, lots of cuddles for my cuddle-bug," he grinned as he used the petname.

bruce yawned again,”imm…tierd, imma go to sweep and ill see you tomorrow, and i” bruce was interupted with another yawn. “im gonna hug you.” he said smiling as he fell asleep.
The teenager purred and ended the call, setting his phone on the counter. He looked up at himself in the mirror. "Perfect, huh?" he shook his head, knowing how far that was from the truth, but everyone said that kind of thing when they were first crushing on someone, so of course Bruce had said it about him too. Tony pulled off his clothes, took his shower, masturbated while he was there (he was a teenager and he needed the stress relief, so sue him), and crashed into his own bed around 11:45. He wasn't sure how going to bed so early would work out, but as he stared up at his ceiling ruminating on the events of the day, slowly his eyelids began to droop and a little under an hour later he was snoozing.

Bruce woke up to the loud annoying beeping of his alarm clock at seven am the next morning. “********” he groaned slamming his hand down on the annoying contraption, “god he is lucky he’s cute.” he muttered forcing himself out of bed at an ungodly hour for a Saturday. He shuffled around his room picking up a pair of tattered pants and ignoring the need for a shirt and made his way over into Alexis’ room. “wake up.” he said plopping himself on the bed next to her. “like. now.”
Tony stayed zonked until about eight, by which point his rolling around had him only half lying on his bed, arm draped over the edge of the bed and knuckles touching the carpet. He awoke and rubbed at his eyes before sitting up. As usual, it took his brain a couple of seconds to reboot, but when it did a big grin spread over his face. He popped out of bed and headed over to his closet to select what he'd wear for the day ahead.

Bruce sat trough an hour of alex babbling his ear off about charcol being his best color before he overruled her and told her he was going to wear yellow and he didnt care what she did with the rest of him but he was wearing yellow. He glanced at the clock multiple times and by the time it was nine he was allready sitting in the living room, nervous.
Tony moved through his morning routine all smiles, tossing a couple strawberry poptarts into the toaster to serve as his breakfast and nabbing them last thing on his way out the door. He got into his mustang and had to actively resist the urge to speed his way over to Bruce's house; he couldn't wait to see him again and get that hug. He ended up arriving fifteen minutes early by the time on his phone, but he hopped out of his car and went up to the front door, rapping his knuckles on the door (he didn't see a reason to let himself in this time), stuffing the very last of his poptart into his mouth as he did so.

a knock echoed trough the house while bruce was alternating tapping his foot nervously and checking his reflection in the mirror over and over. “oh god.” Bruce thought… “he’s early.” his heart started beating much faster than it normally did. “coming” he yelled, checking his reflection once again. He was so glad that he had been asleep for this part yesterday, because this was probably one of the worse feeling he had ever felt this early in the morning, nerves. “okay,” he told himself. “i can do this.” he said waving goodbye to alex with a smile, and opening the door. “oh, um hi.” he said smiling, still a little bit nervous, granted… it was his first date and he probably had reason to be freaking out just a bit. “you look great.” he said blushing.
Tony glanced down at himself as if to get a reminder of what he had on-- a pair of jeans, his usual three layers of tees. "What do you mean? I always look like this," he laughed at the compliment, though he had made sure to trim his facial hair nice and put on some good-smelling aftershave, so he could give himself a /little/ credit there. "Your Cuz' looks like she did a nice job though," the teenager smiled, looking Bruce up and down from where he stood on the porch. "You're cute in yellow, did you know that?" Tony was the exact opposite of Bruce-- he didn't appear to be nervous in the slightest-- though he'd only done this picking-girls-up-for-a-date thing how many times? He didn't know, but it was a lot. "So, I'm early, I guess I couldn't help myself..." he shrugged with a laugh.

“I guess that means you always look cute.” he said with a smile, shifting awkwardly, “and im kindof glad you’re early.” he said stepping forward and wrapping his arms around tony’s midsection, “i was kindof freaking out enough to give myself a heart attack earlier… it was getting a bit excessive.” he said smiling and pressing a kiss to tony’s lips with a smile.
"A heart-attack? Over little ol' me?" Tony asked with a smile, just about in seventh Heaven when Bruce wrapped his arms around him. He kissed him back, then seemed to decide it wasn't quite enough and kissed him again for a little longer. "Should I come in for a bit, or did'ya just wanna get outta here?" he asked, hooking a thumb at his vehicle parked on the street. If they left now, they'd undoubtedly end up there before the place opened, but that was basically why making out in cars was invented.

Bruce looked at tony’s car then back at his house, turning around and shutting the door behind him with a grin, “lets get out of here.” he said grabbing tony’s hand and walking to his car. “i think we have spent more than enough time at my house.”
The choice made him smile a mile wide, and he parted from Bruce with a quick peck on the temple as he went around to his side of the car. He felt like he was walking on air, he was so happy. Yeah, he'd gone on a lot of dates before, but never to somewhere cool like the Computer Science and Innovation museum-- that indulged a nerdy part of his brain that he usually had to shut off around his date. "Let's hope I don't get lost," he joked as he pulled his seatbelt on over his chest.

Bruce grinned happily, ” id really rather apprecieate it if you, like didnt get lost.” he said smiling, and buckling his seat belt. ” I kindof missed you.” he said smiling awkwardly.
"You missed me in your sleep?" Tony asked with a laugh, after all, he'd been talking to him right up until he'd fallen asleep. He started the car and headed down the road-- he actually had a pretty good idea of where he was going, so he wasn't that worried about getting lost.

“well i missed you when we were on the phone, i mean even though we were talking it wasn’t really the same…” he said frowning. “and i missed you this morning, when alex was being all… weird and stuff. ” Bruce grinned “so, yeah maybe im kindof pathetic.” he said looking out the window awkwardly.
"You have a good point," Tony nodded; it wasn't quite the same and he had been in a hurry to come over to the other boy's house and pick him up. He glanced over at the back of Bruce's head before returning his gaze to the road. "Besides, it just means you were looking forward to seeing me!" The 17-year old suddenly remembered. "Oh hey, so what was it you were gonna ask me?"
