The new game sparked Senga's interest, and before disappearing again, he stalked over, rumbling quietly in his throat as the game was demonstrated to him. So, it was a guessing game? The horseman blinked, his wings fluttering before wrapping snugly against his sides. It didn't seem too taxing...
"I'll give it a try," He murmured to one of the poms, as though it spoke his language. It didn't, but the game started anyways.
Closing his eyes, Senga waited until there was a signal for him to open them, and when he had, the hat sat in front of him, and it was time to guess. Recalling the names to mind, he tilted his head left and right. It really was simply a game of luck... wasn't it?
Ah, and of course he didn't get it right the first time.
Accidentally guessing on Fluffy, Senga was surprised to see Melchior instead and narrowly dodged junk.
"Ah," He rumbled quietly and frowned, "can I have a second round...?"

The second try went much quicker, and the shuffling ended just as Senga opened his eyes. The hat sat in front of him again, innocent and unmoving. Which one was under there this time? Senga frowned, shaking out his head and allowing the skulls to rattle around as he remembered the names once more.
Aah, but which one to choose?
"Fluffy?" Again.
Balthazar bit his fingers instead.
"Hey!"

Senga decided to give it one more try, because one more try couldn't hurt. Maybe.
The horseman nursed his finger between his lips with a low growl, the tang of blood heavy on his tongue. That last bite really hurt after all.
The hat twitched in front of him. Who was it this time...?
No one.
Well. Okay.

Mayaa swirled her teacup around again, wondering what she would see this time.
Goat: Be careful not to graze in the same pasture all the time else ill fate will befall you. Get out more.
Horse: The most noble of creatures. Good fortune and prosperity are headed your way.
... Goat again?
She feared this was premonition for something... she wasn't going to look forward to.

Maybe she was just guessing wrong on purpose just to torture them.

Ariane did not trust the Poms; over at the snow covered booth, they had been very elusive, and caused her tons of shame. Due to her experiences with Poms, she had guessed that it was a trick, and that there was really nothing under the hat. Thus, she was genuinely surprised to find one of the Poms hiding there, curled up and sleepy looking.
[Ariane is a gruff-sounding werewolf boil with dark brown fur, and stands almost 5 feet tall.

However, since Ariane was not the sort to trust anyone - especially not sneaky Poms - easily, her next guess remained as 'nothing'. She was sure that they would try to trick her after that last attempt. Lifting the hat up, she grinned when there was nothing underneath, "AHA! I knew it!"
Poms really are tricky little things.

Ariane was still not into fortune telling. However, fortune telling never really hurt anyone - unless you believed in it so much that whatever bad fortune was predicted came true due to it being some kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The fortune about how something might try to eat her was met with a poker face; that sort of thing was quite common in her occupation. The other fortune, however, was received with a grin.

Nahm was used to minipets playing odd little games of hide and seek. He was even used to being bitten as a result of strange little games of hide and seek; Mr. Snappy had moods.
Once the poms indicated that they were ready and hidden, he opened his eyes. "Balthazar," he guessed, and lifted the hat. ... It wasn't Balthazar. Damn.
