Korsall Kaiser Robayn Korsall Kaiser Robayn Korsall Kaiser Hey, HDMI took the Computer Nerd role, but what about a Science Nerd role? I was in the Science Camp group in the old camp event (Boom goes the Dynamite! XD Tesla Coil ftw!) so I have some items that could help and I already have that experience to draw on for ideas and character traits. So Science Nerd role for me? Anything you like! Ooh yes! Count me in as a Science Nerd then! ^_^ Getting my avatar ready right now! I'm actually almost done. I thought I sent the first part of this message already, but I guess I didn't. Anyways, now I just gotta find a hairdo that fits. I was hoping to find a wig item that worked, but it looks like i'm paying a visit to Salon Durem... Okay, and be sure to give me a short and sweet character description along with a name, too, please! Oh, okay. I was thinking of just going with the flow but I'll see what I can put together before I go to bed tonight. Oh, one thing though. From 9:30am tomorrow to I don't know when, (no more than a couple hours though) I won't be available. After roughly a year and a half of being jobless and applying all over the place, one of the businesses I applied to finally called me in for an interview (out of a year and a half, only the second time i've been called in for an interview...). So, wish me luck and i'll be around after that gets taken care of! Oooh, well good luck with the interview! And not to worry!!! You can RP as a guest, like Chibi is planning on doing, and that way you don't need to write up anything ahead of time biggrin

That is very true. And i am glad, that is the true purpose of this. I mean, i am almost 23 and i remember being a teenager...And how bullying was a big thing. Unlike other's i was taught in a...slightly different way. My mother used to say. "If another kid call's you an idiot, you call him a douche bag...If they push you, you punch them" So, i sort of never had people bother me. But, i did have to step in and defend a lot of friend's. Especially my best friend...Who started to cross-dress and well...Not everyone is accepting...So, i had a few scruff's in his name. But not everyone has someone who will get into fight's for them. I didn't originally plan on bring such a thought-provoking theme into it, and it will be subtle, but it's important to me that no one, online or offline, should feel like they are helpless against bullying. Bullying is a tough problem, made all the more so by the fact that there is no one good way to handle a bully, but there is one thing that will always help and that's a support system.

Okay, i'm gonna plop this down in here for now. If it needs moving later, so be it. And I hope it isn't too long... sweatdrop Character name: Isaac Orson Description: Isaac used to greatly dislike the idea of going to 'camp'. He figured there were plenty of better things to be doing with his time. Unfortunately(?) for him, one year his parents didn't give him much of a choice and shipped him off to Science Camp for the summer. Despite his protests, his parents still made him go. Once there, he tended to keep to himself and refused to take part in the activities. However, as the summer wore on, he actually started to become interested in the various activities the others were doing each day until he himself was a regular participant. By the end of the summer, he was practically begging the counselors to let him stay. Unfortunately a new school year was around the corner and he had to bid the camp farewell. After this, he gained a brand new appreciation for Camp and all it has to offer. Even if it isn't necessarily Science Camp. He loves all things sciency nowadays and is a wiz at making various reactive compounds. He uses his knowledge to get into a little mischief now and again, but it's all in good fun. Fun for him at least. Unless there is some sort of science going on he tends to simply mind his own business and will keep to himself for the most part, but if approached he will gladly strike up a conversation about just about anything. Though he would prefer science as a topic of course. He isn't exactly athletic, but he's not a weakling either. Finally, he won't likely admit it, but the glasses are just for show. He doesn't actually need them nor do they actually act like real glasses.

Despite RPing for a while now, i've actually only made two ref-sheets and so i'm still pretty new at describing characters and am eager for feedback. You did a great job! It's longer than average, but not so long that I didn't want to read the whole thing. You did good at getting into a little bit of detail without making it unnecessary detail.

Madeline Maywell
Madeline grew up as the only girl in her family. Her mother passed away when she was very young, and she couldn't remember her. She has five older brothers and more guy cousins than she could count on her fingers. She was raised to be confident, but a mean name sent her name could make her bawl her eyes out. She lived and breathed theatre and this camp seemed like the perfect opportunity to get a break from real life for a while. All that said, she was still kind of nervous. Her older brothers had always kept her safe, and here she would be alone with her over-sensitive heart.
