When Lumine bursted in, the two older youkai looked so confused, and more than their share of embarrassed at not having noticed the shinigami's quiet and dazed escaped. "We didn't even hear her get out!""OH WAIT... The dooooor-!" Ochiba face palmed, then went to jump and stomp in place in front of Michiko as the two exchanged quick words back and forth without much of a pause. "I told you there was no ghosts here!"
"And? then why did you not go out and check?"
"Why didn't YOU check, Miss Lucky Charms?"
"It's your house."
"It was you who said we would keep her inside."
"Gaaaah! You are such a stupid tengu!"
"You are such a vermin!"
"Wait, so she got past us just like that?"
"I think the shinigami didn't mean to."
"Says you, I bet she wanted to sneak a peek!"
"Innocent till proven guilty, I say."
"Yeah defend the one who just caught the celestial naked."
"I am not defending her I am just saying--!" The two made a few gesticulations through their hush-yet-loud aside, until Michiko took Ochiba mid jump and set her down, turning her to look at Lumine, "She just sorta slipped past me--" "Stupid guard dog, uh?""Past us," She gave Ochiba's rabbit ear a small tug, earning an ouw, and the addition of, "Fine, Past US.""I hope it was just a look and nothing else... At least you are dressed now." Michiko got a towel from the side, and gave it to Lumine. "uhm... you are sort of... still... wet...."

"Of course it was just a look!" Lumine snatched the towel from Michiko's hand and began to rub it over her head, dropping the rest of Seijin's armor on the floor. "She disappeared before anything else could happen! I-I mean, she walked in as I was rinsing off, and..!"
The Celestial paused, then buried her face into the towel, feeling herself blushing wildly. The gravity of what just happened was beginning to sink in: Hanari had seen her naked..!! Every curve of her body, exposed! She had caught Lumine in a most vulnerable moment, completely bare and defenseless, with nothing between her and the Shinigami but the distance at which they stood. What would she think? Would she see how childlike Lumine really was? It wasn't her fault she stopped growing; it's because of the Celestian blessings! Would Hanari treat her like a child now? Or worse, what if she liked it?! What if she was out there fantasizing about--!! Stupid, lewd, perverted Shinigami!!!
Lumine felt as though she could scream into the towel, and nearly did. Her head was swirling with thoughts and emotions. She felt embarrassed, confused, and...a little...hot--No, NOO!!
The Celestial took a deep breath, then exhaled deeply, and proceeded to dry off the rest of her exposed skin. "...It doesn't matter! I-I mean, it's not like I have anything she hasn't seen before..!! R-right, Michiko? Ochiba?? I'm a girl, and she's a girl, and...and--!" Stifling another scream, Lumine casually tossed the used towel to the side and began to finish dressing herself. She took the rest of Seijin's garment over to the table, where she sat once again and slid her boots on, tying them sloppily. "What nerve! Th-The least she could do is stay and apologize properly, instead of sneaking a peek and running off like that! Now I'm gonna have to look for her again! Stupid, stupid Shinigami..!"

Michiko, equally embarrassed move away to clear the table of what should have been Hanari's food. She was mostly embarrassed because, well, she has let the shinigami just go by her like it was nothing. "Maybe she will come around soon,"Ochiba offered as she watched Lumine,"She probably has to work.... Even if she is a lazy shinigami, you know." Ochiba begun to pull out her flute, piecing it together, "True, anatomy is the same, so it should not be too shocking.... Give her a bit, don't go running off and getting into trouble... AGAIN." Michiko turned around as Ochiba pieced together her instrument earning a curious glance from the wolf and some perked ears. "You will see, Lumine, she will come back soon, you may as well let her face cool off! She sounded very embarrassed from over here!" With that that she begun to play nonchalantly. The tengu stopped moving to stare with perked ears. "I had no idea Ochiba played an instrument."

At the sound of "AGAIN", Lumine turned to Ochiba, having been snapped out of her embarrassed fluster. She let out a deep sigh, and focused her attention on her boots, tying them more properly. "....I guess so. She said her work was being covered, but I guess that couldn't last forever, huh? ...Looks like our trip will have to wait..."
Feeling a bit more cool-headed, Lumine glanced from Ochiba to Michiko, then back again. "Y-Yeah! She's actually pretty good. Guess Bunny-Sensei's good for something after all, huh?" She grinned, reaching out to take the sleeves of Seijin's outfit. "Just kidding! ...But, I do mean that you're good, Ochiba."
With a few inexperienced movements, Lumine slid the sleeves onto her arms and secured them, completing the whole of Seijin's Armor. She then stood up from the table and took a few steps to the side, spinning in place as she did. "Well? What'd'ya guys think? Pretty cool, huh?!" Her smile was beaming as she spun for a second time with her arms outstretched, sending the bottom of her skirt outwards. "Hehe... it feels a little drafty below... But it shouldn't be a problem, right?" She noted, looking to both Michiko and Ochiba for their opinion.

Michiko nodded, enjoying the small display of entertaiment from the rabbit who played even when Lumine tried to joke on her ability. "My mother used to play the shamishen, she taught me a bit too. In our later years together she hardly touched her instrument. I think my father took her joy with her when it came to that."
"Mh. So you can play too?" Ochiba said a the end of her piece. "I wouldn't dare say I can... I haven't played in the longest time either, so I may have forgotten how to."
"Ah. I think an instrument is like learning to write. You may get rusty but you never forget."
The two older youkai turned to look at the celestial spinning in the new outfit... or borrowed outfit. "Well. That's what happens when you wear skirts," Ochiba chuckles,"It looks good on you though. ... I suppose this is the armor you were talking about Kazuko?"
"Yes... My mother's Armor...." She seemed a bit distant, as if she was about to sniffle at any moment. Realizing this, she turned to clean the dishes and say into the sink, "You look very well in it, Lumine."
Ochiba looked back at Michiko, taking her eyes from Lumine for the moment. "Say, Kazuko..."
"Yes?"
"We should get you a tengu armor."
"... Why? ... I already said I am just a hermit who remembers what she reads."
"Well, you do have those blades, It means you must have been taught in the academy, right, Lumine?" Ochiba removed her glasses to look at the celestial,"I bet Michiko would look great in an armor that would show that tattoo of hers. ..... No one will court you if you keep being such a grump, specially if you don't show what you do have."
"What are you sugesting?"
"I am just saying, I bet Lumi agrees!" Ochiba grinned setting her glasses down,"If those male tengu saw what a prominent young lady you are, I am sure you would be married in no time!"
"That is a rather disturbing thought."

Lumine tilted her head, a frown of concern showing on her face. She walked over to where Michiko stood, leaning up against the counter with her hip. "Say, Michiko... This is only until I get a chance to wash my clothes, okay? If this bothers you, then I won't do it." The Celestial took a step back, examining herself in Seijin's armor. "...To be honest, it feels kinda weird wearing this, especially since Master Kazuko had forbidden it before. I mean, it's nice and all, but..." She took the skirt by a fold in the fabric, readjusting it on her figure. "But I feel like she'd be frowning if she were to see me like this right now." There was a sadness in her voice, as her eyes leveled with Michiko's. "And... I don't wanna make her sad."
Turning back to Ochiba, she nodded, a small smile replacing her frown. "Yeah, I think that's a great idea! Even if Michiko doesn't want to find someone, she'd still look a lot prettier in something besides those clothes." Lumine mockingly tugged at Michiko's shirt as she spoke, partially lifting it up to expose her midriff. "Hey, why don't you try on Master Kazuko's armor after I change, huh? I bet you'd look really, really pretty in it, Michiko! Maybe not as cool as I do, but still~"
"A-Ah... What happened to your blades, Michiko?" Lumine asked, puzzled. She didn't recall waking up with them on her person, but with the morning's confusion, she couldn't say for sure. "...Did I leave them outside..?"

Michiko tried to look busy as Lumine talked to her. The tengu eventually gave that up and turned to the celestial. "No no, don't get me wrong...!" She sighed, looking sideways,"It's just that... I realise that... I will never see..." She shook her head, not wanting to complete her sentence,"I don't mind, you look good in it. I am sure mh mother much rather have you wear than have it rust in the academy. She would be completly fine with that."
As the two begun to tag team against her and conspjre some sort of sketch of how apt it would be for her to wear another outfit, Michiko gave a squeak at her shirt being lifted and having her skin, and the 'stem' of her tattoo exposed,"Ah-!... It's cold don't do that-!" The tengu blushed a bit.
At the talk about the blades Ochiba went to check Michiko's room. The hermit shook her head again,"I would look just like my mother did at best...." the tengu grumbled and went to put away her few dishes,"I don't know what you guys are expecting."
"The blades are here, Hanari must have taken them off you Lumine!" The rabbit said from the room.

"And...that's a bad thing?" Lumine replied, bearing a soft smile and releasing Michiko's garment. "Your momma was a pretty woman, and so are you! Like I said, even if you aren't out looking for someone, maybe a little change of pace would be good for you. Even if you need to take baby steps!"
She walked over to collect the blades from Ochiba, offering a small thanks and commenting, "Whew...that's good! I thought I left them somewhere..!" With that, she returned to the wolf, holding the blades and belt they were attached to out towards her. "You already went with me to the Academy, and you didn't seem to mind too much. Even if I was stupid and nearly killed myself... I think you'd be a good adventurer! You're smart, and strong, and know a lot more about the world than I do!"
"And, I'm not saying you need to be like your momma, but that doesn't mean you can't use the gifts she gave you, ya'know?" She thought for a moment, then added, "Come to think of it, I once heard a story about some fire demon who used to roam the bamboo forest, guiding humans who had lost their way. Maybe you could do the same for those who wander too far into the forest of magic?" With a grin, she made one final comment. "It's just an idea! I'd hate to see you waste away inside your home for the rest of your life...and I bet Ochiba could agree with me! Even she's been active lately! You wouldn't want your rival to outdo you, would you~?"

Michiko sighed,"I am nothing like my mother to go looking like her, I doubt she'd be happy to see me in her armor...." The tengu took her blades slowly, entertaining the thought of all of Lumine's words. "Ah... a fire demon mh...? Maybe I can help out those that do wonder out here. I don't know how I would do as an adventurer...."
"Bwahahaha, Lumine is right!" Ochiba jumped up to Lumine in her adorable, bunny manner,"I have been doing so much more than you. I taught Lumine how to survive out there and earned good cash from the human village. WE SHOULD just change your outfit. Make you look as cool as us!" Ochiba crossed her arms with a knowing nod and a grin. She was mimicking Lumine, trying to annoy Michiko into complying.
"You two are so pesky..."Michiko sighed, equipping her belt and the attached dual blades,"What do you suggest I wear anyway? Small steps sound okay, but seriously, what is the basis to this?"
"Some say that to change the world, you gotta change yourself,"Ochiba responded seriously,"And to change yourself, you have to start little by little. With how straight laced you are, I think a more relaxed outfit would relax you too."
"...." Michiko tried to think of a logical way to counter but all that earned was a frown and a small bead of sweat,"I can't argue with that logic..."
"See! Even if you don't want to wear your mom's armor...'We can get you some new clothes... And Lumine a new hat!" Ochiba offered.

The Celestial gave a sideways glance at Ochiba as the old rabbit bounced and struck a pose. Was she trying to act like her? "What do you mean, 'us'?" Lumine pointed out playfully, tugging at one of Ochiba's fluffy rabbit ears. "I think you mean me!" She put a triumphant fist at her hip, standing proudly with her chest puffed up.
"Bunny-Sensei's right, though. You should wear something that will show off your tattoo! Maybe something that exposes your shoulders, and maybe your collar bone..." Lumine thought aloud, tracing an imaginary design along the top of her shoulders. "But not too low - You wouldn't want to fall out of your dress in the middle of a fight~!"
"Ah..hm..." She paused her theatrics, taking a moment to tug at a lock of her icy-blue hair. "Hehe, I guess I could use a new hat, huh? I gave my old one as a gift... to our momma." Lumine smiled to Michiko; it was a genuine and warming smile. Visiting Seijin's grave hadn't been easy for either of them, but somehow, they made it, and she knew they were both stronger to show for it.
"Hey...um," Inspecting herself in Seijin's armor for the umpteenth time, a small blush and sheepish grin lit up Lumine's features. "Do you guys think that... Hanari will think I look cool? And maybe a little...mature? I mean, she's only seen me in my old clothes before, and...I-I want her to see that I'm not a kid!"

Ochiba made a small noise at the playful tug of ear,"Hey hey, I'll you've seen me wear is this~ I was young once too! And I wore different clothes; I was really different back in the day! I had long hair, back when my Master seemed to like to brush it and my Master's daugther liked to braid. I didn't wear glasses either! My eye sight was 20/20! "
"Then five hundred centuries passed~" Michiko grinned at Ochiba, who stomped a foot.
"No! I simply matured with time."
"It sure doesn not show."
"I am going to hurt you."
"My tattoo is pretty long... if you didn't notice it goes past my abdomen. The only thing that can show all of it is when I am just wearing a sarashii." Michiko pointed out.
"Problem solved! We don't even have to get you new clothes."
Ignoring Ochiba she continued,"We will see. If you get something you want me to wear, I'll wear it. Just because I have nothing better to do," She paused,"That's right, It must be odd not to have your hat. You always had it on."
Ochiba snickered as Lumine made a last question,"Lies. She has seem you on your old clothes and without them!"
Michiko reached over and smacked Ochiba over the head,"Bad Rabbit."
The blind youkai rubbed the back of her head,"I was just pointing it out! Plus, I bet she will like it. I wasn't lying when I said you looked good in it. And it does make you look a bit older."

"Yeah...it's a little weird, I'll admit. My head feels a bit cold, and the sun gets in my eyes now..." She rubbed her hair, sending a few locks astray. "And besides, now I don't look like Tenshi anymore! You're right, I have to replace my hat now!" Lumine clenched a fist, holding it at eye level with a sort of heroic resolve. "And, y'know...wash my clothes..."
Ochiba's comment about the small incident that happened moments ago sent yet another blush across Lumine's face. "You're not gonna let me live that down, are you?!" She stomped her foot and crossed her arms, pouting. "It's not like she did anything, she just looked..! That's not that bad, right?" Her expression softened, and she added, "...But, I hope she likes it, too... "
"A-Anyway! Okay! We have a mission then, Bunny-Sensei!" With newly found energy, Lumine pressed her fists into her hips again, standing pridefully and with a purpose burning in her eyes. "We have to find Michiko new clothes! Something cool, and stylish, and sexy! AND I NEED A NEW HAT~!!"

"Yeah. You look a bit bare without the hat!" Ochiba smiled, then grinned,"And Of course I won't. It's too funny too. 'Sides, it isn't that bad. You weren't harassed or anything so I don't have to be too serious about it~"
"That's right! We got a mission now." Ochiba jumped a couple times like only a rabbit could before landing and saying,"I guess we will have to got the human village... Unless there is another place where we can find what we need! Or we can always rob lost humans~"
"What an Evil little bunny."
"I am just kidding! Though honestly, Robbing humans doesn't sound too tough to begin with," Ochiba went to the table and picked up her glasses, slipping the big framed spectacles past her nose, and then pushing them into place,"Anyway. Anyone know of another place where you can buy things other than the human village?"
"Don't ask me. I am a hermit."
"I wasn't asking you," Ochiba grinned,"So we will get a hat and Michiko's outfit!"
Michiko let out a long sigh,"And there is no way this is going to explode in our faces?" Secretly, she was excited about going out and exploring a new place, but the rabbit and celestial didn't have to know that!

"No chance at all!" Lumine reassured the wolf, adding, "Unless the hats somehow become sentient and attempt world domination! ... What? It could happen!"
She thought a moment, contemplating Ochiba's question. "Well... the Human Village is where most trading is done, unless we can happen upon a traveling salesman or something. They tend to travel the safer roads and don't come near the forest, though. Aside from that, the only places I know we could buy things from are the Tengu Village and the Underground..." She pondered aloud, holding her chin in her fingers. "But, the Underground is too far to walk, and...well, Michiko and I just escaped from the Tengu Village, so going back wouldn't be a good idea."
Lumine sighed, crossing her arms. "I guess we're stuck with going to the human village for now, unless either of you have any better ideas? I can be ready to go, as soon as I collect the rest of my things from outside." In her embarrassment and haste, Lumine had left most of her belongings near the stall in the back of Michiko's home. Assuming nobody made off with them, everything should still be there...

Ochiba nodded and smiled,"Alright sounds like a plan, We will head to the human village in a bit, or as soon as everyone is ready!"
"I am ready," Michiko said.
"Sure you don't want to take off your shirt, Kazuko~?"
"Are your ears attached? If not, it will hurt a lot when I rip them off."
"All I need is to get my bag," Ochiba smiled, not intimidated at all by Michiko's small 'threat', only finding it amusing,"I guess it'll be my turn to lead you two to the village; Aren't I the one that spends most time there?"
"You are." Michiko tied her lantern to her satchel so that it could hang freely.
"Is your tail wagging?"
".......no."
"Yes it is!" Ochiba jumped around Michiko, making the wolf spin to try to keep the rabbit away from her tail,"I never seen your tail move~"
"You are creepy," Michiko retorted blush,"Come on Lumine, let's head out soon, or else this little runt will take my tail--- EH--!"
Ochiba caught Michiko's tail and was busy hugging it and burying her face into it. "Aaaaaah! L-le-le-let g-ooo!" Michiko's tail twitched in Ochiba's grip.
"Ha, it's soft!"
"Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah."
