Rose wasn't in the mood to listen to a lecture from anyone so she inhaled deeply before letting herself sink once more. She sat on the rivers bottom not being able to hear him smiling.

Damian just sat there as he waited. He knew she couldn't breath underwater, and she would have to come up eventually. What was she thinking trying to say that he was lecturing?

Rose for a good solid 7 minuets stayed under the water with no problem then she started to slowly raise to the surface. She looked at him and then looked at the water with tears falling down her face.

Damian slowly walked toward her. "What's wrong?" He hoped it wasn't his fault she was crying. He looked at her hoping for some sort of response.

"Nothing, I just...I hurt and well its hard to explain." Rose said as she hunger her head more.

Damian looked at her and then lifted her face. "Try my, I'm sure I can help you figure this out. Where do you hurt would be a good start."

"My ankle hurts." She said as she looked at him then lifted herself out of the river onto the shore.

"Well you probably should have rested more. We have been running around a lot. What else is bugging you, there has to be more." Damian sat on the ground next to Rose. "You can trust me, Rose."

Damian looked puzzled. "And why is that?" He asked softly. "You have stayed and slept in my house and even been saved by me." He spoke softly so only she would have been able to hear him. "Rose, you can truley trust me. I will cause no harm to you.

"You have yet to hold me back." Damian smilled and placed his cold hand on her face. "Go on this adventure with us, I promise you will not be holding any of us back, If anything you will make this thing possible. You know the woods that the elves inhabit and the mountains of dwarfs." He looked at her in the eyes as then stood back a little.

"You are wanted, by me at least. I feel distant from the others to. How about we go with them to the mountains and you personally show me what's beyond them, just the two of us." Damian halfly smiled and then hugged the elf. "I'm only here to help."

Rose looked at him funny in the hug but then hugged him back slightly. "I guess I can show you what is there." She said softly as she backed away from him slightly.
