 Rusty ran his thumb over the spot where Tsuki's shard was. At the moment, only Rin and Miroku would be able to see it. He sighed. Inuyasha's attitude was annoying. "Because I want to get rid of Tsuki's shard. She rarely uses it's power and when she does.." He trailed off, looking down at her. "It has negative side effects. And things like this can happen. I don't want to lose my sister because of someone else's evil. She doesn't think about it. But when we save Kagome, I want her to take it." He looked over at Sango and Miroku. He felt relieved that the monk was there for the demon slayer. He also felt a weird sense of longing. Inuyasha had Kagome, Koto had claimed Rin, Miroku and Sango had each other. His thoughts went briefly to Hotaru. But then the scent of Sesshomaru hit his nose. He jumped up, a growl in his throat. His patience was done for battle. He was not ready to tolerate the daiyoukai. He looked at Inuyasha then Sesshomaru.

 Arriving at the creek, Fake sayu undressed and slid into the chilly waters. Sighing in pleasure, she washed herself slowly, careful not to get the bandages wet. Once she was finished, she settled on a log nearby. She didn't bother to get dressed again. Feeling bored, she reached out to the fake Tailos. 'My Lord..." There was mocking humor in her tone as she mentally spoke. She spoke along the lines of the shadows so none of the others would hear. 'Find yourself a little friend?' She chuckled softly.
 Koto tensed as a ball of light dropped directly in front of them. It was Sesshomaru. He held Rin loosely to him. His beast was demanding not to release his Rin. That was nonsense of course. Rin was not his. Then again, beasts tended to know their chosen mate before anything else. When he saw Sesshomaru focus on Touga, he narrowed his eyes. "Do not harm the boy Lord Sesshomaru. He is Lady Hotaru's Heir. He will succeed the title of the Lord of the Southern Lands." He knew Sesshomaru would probably think that Hotaru had become weak in choosing a half breed but it was a long standing tradition, starting with her grandmother. Koto was healing but Sesshomaru was in tip top shape. He would not even stand a chance in the state he was in.
Glad that Sango had taken the bowl and started to eat, he sighed in relief. That monk had a lot to make up for. He watched Miroku bandage Rin and then move away. Turning to Rusty, he nodded. "No problem with me. The shards belong to us anyway." His cockiness was starting to come back along with his powers. Tessaiga wouldn't be able to transform yet though. At that moment Sesshomaru made an appearance. Inuyasha growled under his breath, tensing. When Koto spoke, his gaze immediately moved to Touga. His breath caught and panic filled him. He wouldn't let the kid suffer like he had. It was the human inside him pushing him to this. If Sesshomaru lashed out, he would leap forward to take the blade. He wouldn't let him be hurt. "Don't Sesshomaru...!" It was almost plaintive, his tone. It was the first time he begged his brother for anything and it would be the last.

 Rin blinked as Sesshomaru suddenly appeared in front of them, and began to approach before he stopped. "My lord! You returned!" Rin sounded pleased. Sesshomaru meant a great deal to her. The smile on her face dropped as her lord withdrew Tokijin and approached, his deadly golden eyes focused on Touga, who was wrapped in her arms. She held the child tighter against her, her caramel eyes wide. Was he really going to strike Touga down? Not on her watch he wasn't. "Don't Sesshomaru...!" Inuyasha had asked. He never asked for anything from his brother, but he was now. Even Koto spoke out. "Do not harm the boy Lord Sesshomaru. He is Lady Hotaru's Heir. He will succeed the title of the Lord of the Southern Lands." Rin got to her feet, her arms wrapped around Touga, holding him against her protectively. "You will not harm him, milord." She said, her voice firm and without hesitation. "If you wish to harm him, you will have to go through me first." Location: Shadow Realm

 Lord Takahashi Last Daiyokai of the Yami Inus  Possesses THE Shikon no tama "Tch. What an eye sore, a bunch of weak fools begging for the life of a mutt. I am feeling ill, to know that some human whore escaped my purging to bare me a son...but no matter...no matter...He will be dealt with...in time."
A cold voice seemingly echoed all around them in the darkness, as this happened a dense black mist blotted out the natural lights in the sky and plants that can glow in the dark shrank away, blanketing the entire camp sight in darkness save for the flickering flames of the campfire. Along with the sudden shroud of darkness came the feel of an Immense demonic aura, it is impossible to pinpoint where the energy is coming from as it seems to come from everywhere at once. The black mist billowed up at the center of the camp and seeming glowed with an unnatural black light, Lord Tailos Takahashi stepped out of the billowing mist and the moment this happened the mist dispersed out in all directions as if pushed by a wind from a shock-wave at its center, the mist closed to create a dome over the entire camp, a rippling bright purple barrier rippled around the camp, the surface it rippled in black, purple and blue. The Barrier lets things come in...but prevents things from getting out.
"There will be no need for such haste, Sesshomaru. It is my own right to cleanse my bloodline of pests." He would turn his golden eyes on the unconscious child in the miko's arms, seeing the possible features that relate the mutt to his own bloodline, and it disgusts him, his upper lip curled in disgust. But instead of making action to his words he turned away from the brat, his cold imperious gaze shifting from person to person with contempt. "So This is the so called ragtag group who intrudes on my lands to rescue a pathetic weak woman." He sneered coldly, the original idea to this scheme was to get Sesshomaru the Tetsiuaga, but it has become a borish plot. Besides he can tell just by looking at his student that he isn't any longer interested in the battered old fang. The Status:

Would you bear my children?" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ When Rin had pulled Koto's hand away Miroku grimaced and flexed his cramped hand and messaged the muscles in his arm, making a gesture of thanks and would use some water and wrappings to clean and wrap the bites on her hand and arm, He had just moved over to Kouga and to gently shake the snoozing wolf leader awake so that he can apply Kagome's special antidotes and pain killers to his more grievous wounds, and almost got done wrapping his leg, when Sesshomaru showed up from seemingly nowhere. He moved to his feet and gripped his staff warily as he watched the Lord of the West, he immiediatly sensed that he is somehow stronger then he was before, his gaze had latched onto the unconsious child and had drawn his weapon, by the way everyone reacted then it would not be good at all if Sesshomaru harmed the child...but then an Imense demonic energy filled the void and darkness veiled over everything except for the flickering light of the camp fire. A shiver of fear ran down his spine as he instinctively moved to Sango's side feeling protective and scared at the same time. When he saw this new demon come, he knew at once he is a powerful demon but ... there is something about him that screams danger as if all of them had accidently stumbled into the lair of a feriousious beast... ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Kouga
" I'll avenge my comrades with my own hands!"  a n y w a y s ;
"Kagome.."
The last of his thoughts slipped away as he drifted into complete unconsciousness. Everything was black within his mind and he alone stood there within the black abyss. As his feet moved along the cold darkness voices began calling out to him. Accompanied by these voices were the sounds of wolves and paws slamming hard down against the ground. It was almost as if they were running alongside Kouga to guide him. Moving through this darkness brought him to various wolf bones along with a large mirror on a pedestal. Claws were present within the mirror, yet as he moved to get closer to the mirror, the cold touch of a human woke him up.
The monk was treating him with what looked like Kagome's magic healing items. Even as they were being applied to him, he could already feel his body relaxing. It was as though Kagome herself were hugging his body to relieve his stress. That however was cut short as his nose picked up a rather foul scent approaching. Sesshomaru. He was ready to attack the brat but everyone moved to protect the child. When Kouga motioned to stand up his body froze momentarily at catching the scent of another male. Another Daiyokai had arrived causing Kouga to question how many actually were left since he knew of Sesshomaru being the last. With treatment from Kagome's magic supplies it became significantly easier for Kouga to move around. Standing up now, he moved over to Inuyasha's side before speaking.
"Cleanse?" questioned Kouga as he clenched his fist tightly. Now he knew there was no chance he could win alone, or with help from Koto and Rusty, yet speaking so ill of ones family disregarded all forms of kinship. Something that Kouga cherished greatly. "I do recall you taking that woman from us. We've merely come to retrieve our friend." spoke Kouga as he became cracking the knuckles on his right hand simply by moving his hands around.

Sesshomaru looked over to Tailos and gave a hint annoyance..of all the people to stop Sesshomaru...he may be the only to be able to..."Show the slightest hesitation and I'll cut him down myself ...You made me think about that disgusting half-youkai thing..." he said walking past Tailos standing a few feet away waiting for Tailos to make the next move...he had mutual respect for Tailos being at one time his teacher...he stood and watched the show...but he remained cold and unemotional...he didn't care about any of them...Rin at one time was very important to him but it seems like she choose her path with Koto and now she stood on the wrong side of this fight...Tailos and Sesshomaru the last of the Daiyoukai were up against the rescue party...Rin was no longer a girl...she made her choice and left his company for Inuyasha's gang...he still held Tokijin and Inuyasha has yet to know about him getting his arm back...the kimono made it seem as if he still didn't have it...but they were all in for a shock..

Rusty gritted his teeth at the arrival of Tailos. He growled at the older demons and lowered his hand, ready to grab a knife if he needed to. An unusually big strike of anger seeped into his bones. "Takahashi..." His voice was a growl. As he zoned in on Tailos, the irises of his eyes started to bleed into the whites of his eyes. Soon they were just solid dark green orbs in his skull. His skin started to get darker, red marks forming on his arms. Suddenly he paused and his appearance went back to normal. He looked down at Tsuki. She'd sensed his transformation even in her sleep and touched him to break his focus. He touched her ear, taking a breath before looking at the others to see what they would do with this new pair of dog demons.

 Sango the Demon Slayer Sango didn't take long to finish the ramen that Inuyasha had given her and was relieved by the warmth that it gave her. Her arms were trembling with exhaustion just from the simple task of holding the bowl long enough to eat. Sango looked at Miroku as he moved to her side but she didn't say anything. She looked to Seshomaru and the other demon and slowly struggled to her feet before grabbing her hiraikotsu. Sango propped herself on it slightly as she looked between the two. Well aware that she didn't have much strength left but also aware that she had to do her best to help.

Sesshomaru disappeared in a flash only to appear between Tailos and the group..."Before you begin...there is a matter of your underling daring to attack me" he said drawing Tensegia in his free hand...now he held both Tokigin and Tensegia..."Your greed over the jewel will cost you..." he said taking a step forward. Sesshomaru didn't care if he was loyal to his father..he didn't give out second chances..

Pouting as the copy was currently ignoring her, she rose from her seated position. Moving through the trees, she closed her eyes. Sighing softly, she raised her face. The new day would be dawning. At that moment though, she blinked. Rising into the air, she studied the sky. It seemed to be getting lighter. The hanyou would be changing back then. No doubt he would be gaining his attributes back. It would be slowly of course. Tilting her head, a fang poked over her lip cutely. In her opnion, he was rather cute but as a shadow she felt no emotional attraction, nor physical. It was how their kind was made up. There wouldn't be any physical changes yet. He would be able to hear somewhat better. That would be it for the time being.
When Tailos appeared, Koto instantly looked to Rusty and Tsuki. Tsuki was asleep but thankfully sensed his change in mood. He watched as Rusty calmed down. That was good. Throwing a narrowed glance at Kouga, he attempted to silence him with a look. He tossed both Miroku, Inuyasha and Sango a look as well. They were injured and weak. As long as Tsuki remained asleep, they would probably not feel the jewel shard as she wasn't using it to enhance herself at the moment. It was not a good time to attempt to get themselves in a battle. When Sesshomaru turned face Tailos, his rose behind Rin and deftly moved her out of the way. He landed by Tsuki, placing her behind him. "Whatever you do, do not get involved Lady Rin. Please." His voice was soft. He signaled to Rusty to get Sango and Kirara next to them and motioned for Miroku and Inuyasha to come over. They could not afford a fight at the moment. His gaze finally landed on Kouga. This was not a time to fight.
Inuyasha gripped Tessaiga tightly. Sesshomaru seemed a whole lot stronger than before. He glanced at Koto and a chill shot down his spine. Moving back against the tree that Stian was in, he reached up and pulled the kitten into his arms. "Don't fight me cat. We are far outmatched at the moment." It was a hard thing for him to admit. Maybe going on this journey was making Inuyasha finally grow up. Suddenly, a thought came into his head. Kikyo would never have allowed herself to get kidnapped. No, Kagome was different. She didn't grow up in this world. He moved over to the group. He watched Sango carefully. He didn't like her being so injured. The slayer would fight herself to death to protect her friends.

Rusty was able to control himself, the better judgement of the other's seeping into his brain. It was not worth the fight. He would lose everyone. When Koto signaled for him to move Sango and Kirara, he turned to Miroku. Hoping the monk wouldn't throw a fit, he moved over to Sango. She was clinging to her hiraikotsu. "Please don't struggle." He whispered to the woman and the cat. The wolf grabbed the large weapon and slung the strap over his shoulder. He momentarily admired the woman for her strength; even as a demon, the weapon held some weight on his shoulder. He reached down and carefully picked up Kirara. He placed the cat on his shoulder before picking Sango up. He moved back over to Koto and Tsuki. Tsuki blinked a few times before her eyes opened weakly. Her gaze fell on Tailos and Sesshomaru and a low growl rumbled in her throat. She looked around and noticed that Koto, Rin, and Inuyasha were now standing near her. Koto stood in front of her as Rusty did. Rusty was holding the demon slayer and her companion. She noted there was a new person amongst them, a monk with rosary beads around his arm and hand. Kouga was close, as was the pup. She tried to move her limbs, but they were like chunks of lead. Rusty would turn to look at her and whisper for her to sleep. Unable to keep her eyes open, Tsuki would quickly return to black slumber. Fortunately, her shard remained dormant and shouldn't be sensed by anyone.

Sango the Demon Slayer Sango looked over at Inuyasha and noticed his look of concern but she didn't say anything. She turned her gaze to Sesshomaru, only looking away when she heard someone telling her not to struggle. She looked to Rusty and wanted to dispute against him taking her hiraioktsu and then lifting her up in his arms. Sango felt a sense of relief wash over her body as the weight of her hiraikotsu off of her and her weight off of her legs. Sango carefully rested her head upon Rusty's chest; her body pulsating with pain which she struggled to hide. Sango looked to Kirara and smiled faintly before her exhaustion took her, her skin rather pale from the loss of blood that she'd taken and was continuing to lose.

Rusty worried about how pale Sango was turning and the pain he could sense in her. He pulled her closer, hoping his body heat would help. He wondered if he could help her the same way as Tsuki. With his sister, he could mix his blood with Tsuki's and shewould heal. He'd never tried with a human. Or any other demons for that matter. He glanced up at the sky, noting that it would be light very soon. We can only hope... He cursed the situation and looked to Koto and Inuyasha. He couldn't tell if they had any kind of plan, so he just looked back at the other daiyoukai. He struggled to control his temper when his eyes stopped on Tailos.
