He felt the slash first and then the current of electricity through his body. ******** was so cool but it hurt so goddamn ******** me sideways man..." He leaned on Chama on the ground and looked at the Halloweeners. "******** bunch of pricks..." Was all he managed.
That and he barely noticed the vines under his skin, blooming something.
s**t they were screwed.

The vines grew and grew, until the chamber itself could no longer hold them. Cracks created by the battle were pried wide open by the plants. Large chunks of rock began to fall from the ceiling, until sand was pouring down and a blue sky above was revealed. It was a tempting sight, freedom from this suffocating chamber would be amazing. A few might try to fly or climb their way out, only to find themselves brought down painfully by the vines and heavy cascade of sand.
Under their feet, the tiles began to buckle and break until all the center-most spiral shattered. The spiral began to slowly spin, faster and fast. The vines on the floor retreated revealing a large circle of sand that slowly began to shift and turn with the rune. The spinning increased quickly, rapidly blurring until the sand was no longer discernible. It almost looked like a...a portal.
The occupants of the room only had a moment to observe it before it expanded and sucked them all down through the portal.

ROOM IS GONE, ENTIRELY CRUMBLED/ DESTROYED AND YOUR CHARACTER SUCKED THROUGH A PORTAL STUDENTS:- You find yourself deposited here: - Your HP carries over as is. - POST YOUR EXIT POST/ REACTION POST AS NEEDED. The Vines: If you RP'd your character as invaded by the vines at any point, you have the option of keeping them within your character's body. Outside of the cave they'll no longer grow beyond an area roughly the size of a hand. They can no longer spread to others.They can still flower, the flowers will no longer keep their sound ability. HUNTERS:- You find yourself deposited here!- Your HP carries over as is. - POST YOUR EXIT POST/ REACTION POST AS NEEDED. The Vines: If you RP'd your character as invaded by the vines at any point, their weapon + deus medical tech will eventually purge them from your hunter's body. However you do have the option of: vine/flower scarring on your hunters body and/or vine/flower discoloration marking your hunters body (like a really intricate birthmark) Extra: If you have never watched or read The Ruins, I strongly suggest you do so! =D
FOUR CLAN POINTS FOR THE ??? ROOM BATTLES- These cap at 3 points MAX! For actively battling in one round of a room's fight you get 1 clan point! If your character gets bounced around between the rooms, and thus are able to participate in more than three rounds total, they still may not claim more than 3 Clan points!

The moment Faustus entered the room, he found practically everything covered in vines. A strange itching started up along his skin, and the boil glanced down, only to beam with a wide grin.
The plants were actually moving through his own skin. He could see them twisting and coiling. Granted, it did sting a bit, but he smiled at the fact that each time one burst through one of his wounds, it also caught flame from the FEAR escaping from him, burning but not harmed, as though a very part of him. He was a demon of wildfires after all, feeding fires from plant-life was his specialty. And just maybe he could even use this to his advantage.
But it looked as though he wouldn't get that chance, as the room had suddenly broke apart, sand and stone cascading down. Oh Jack, what torment was this??!! Faustus stared, and grabbed hold of a nearby, violently shaking vine, only to be thrust off as it flamed at his touch, sending him down through the portal below.{{EXITING through the portal??}} ------------------------ (( OOC:Character Name: Faustus HP: 15/30 Target: Damage:Effect: Plant-life Number of People Currently Attacking Me: 0/3 Room HP: ???/300 Appearance Faustus is a lanky built Flame Demon with rather large round orange eyes, fiery red hair, and black, flaming wings. Though a little panicked, Eva was not at all surprised when she found that yes, something was wrong with this room too. Her face was actually rather impassive as she watched the tiles crumble beneath her feet, looking up in search of the portal out of here. Where...?
Her gaze fell back to the spiraling sand pit in the middle of the room.
You had got to be kidding.

"Oh!"
Fallow reared back from the hunter when another student came rushing in, neon eyes targeting her beneath what seemed like a crown of vines and bright red blossoms. "Oh, I am -- " He was interrupted by a vine snaking down his muzzle and tickling a nostril, making him sneeze dark red all over the green covering the ground. "I am ugly," He said pathetically, dropping his head, "these vines and orchids will not go away! I look like a a tree."
Despite the injuries, Fallow shook himself out from head to toe and tail, and only managed to scatter a few vines and blossoms everywhere, even though he was still very much a walking, talking, breathing bush. Stumbling back on two legs and in his more unnatural human form once again, the Púca raised his head and raised his fingers, deftly yanking at some of the vines, even though they seemed to cinch around his fingers whenever he got too close to pulling one off.
And then it was time to go.
Fallow's ears ricocheted upwards to the top of his head when the sound of stone cracking reached them, and instinctively he moved closer to Xiu as though to shield her. What now?!
Staring down into the spiraling sand pit in the middle of the room, Fallow groaned and stumbled back in a futile attempt to avoid so much sand.
Tossing his head, Fallow stared back at Xiu for a long moment; a girl he didn't even know the name of, or anything else for that matter. Toothily, he grinned at her through blood and vines, as though to say see you on the other side.

Before Rin could even get an answer a lot of horrifying things were happening. Things she couldn't control or stop. For one the thing was still slithering around inside her, two the ground was starting to swallow them up, and three no one was close enough for her to grab onto to brace herself.
She was free falling without a buddy and she despised it.
Right. So. She hugged her axe tightly to her chest then and quietly hoped this wasn't the end for them.

She barely had time to realize what was going on. the vines had retreated from her body and she was suddenly sucked into a portal. However, she did not want to go. she clawed at the ends of the portal to find the portal had eaten that up too, so she was falling it seemed. She could barely turn her head to see what was going on. However, what was happening to her was happening to everyone. Hunters and students alike. She looked at the closest hunter too her, one she had been trying to attack. Then she was gone from the room

Aurian wasn't far from passing out and she knew it. Her vision blurred and greyed at odd intervals and she couldn't walk without using her scythe to prop herself up. So when the portal appeared in the middle of the room, she didn't much care where it took her as long as she got out of here.
It took her longer to realise that everyone was being sucked into the same portal. The fight was hardly over - just moving to a new location. Aurian closed her eyes and fought to remain standing. There could be help on the other side. Maybe things would work in their favour. All she could do was hope.

Calling the sound of a room crumbling all around him 'familiar' was a little strange, but that's exactly what it was becoming by now. The terrifying splintering of stone so solid it shouldn't have been able to move, splitting and tearing and unable to support them any more.
When Thackery finally moved, it was the vines that broke, splitting to accommodate him. Stretching outward, he tried to fight against the portal, but sifted through it with the sand and the plants and all of the others.

It was the sunlight that snapped Michael out of his trance, head snapping up to stare at the beautiful blue sky. He made to get up, to get to the freedom that promised, but as he got one foot under him before it was ripped out by the sand, pulling him through the portal.

Bix had been lucky enough not to experience much of anything to do with the vines. Other than pure horror as his friends turned into various forms of swamp thing.
Was the floor a giant portal? s**t.

Everything was getting worse, and he called out to Amrita as he saw, as he had warned, Shehk vanish. He could only hope her own words didn't come true and that they all reappeared later, safe and sound. Safe and sound. He always wished for that - and these days, it was becoming less and less common.
Still, it wouldn't stop him. Think Calder. Try and get out. He moved to the barrier, but the plants tossed him back as if he was a newborn colt, and he fell to his side before getting back up, only to have the room start spinning. The plants, the falling stones, the sand, the spinning, and the many, many voices about him made keeping focused near to impossible. "Amrita!" He called out, hoping his friend was alright.
The only good thing was that he saw the Hunters scrambling about with them, and was glad they didn't seem on top of their game either.
Just as all the spinning stopped, Calder looked down at a portal and while he would usually be happy to get away, he had a bad feeling about this.
The portal didn't give him a choice.

Leon thought it would never end, that they were going to have to keep fighting them all one by one in order to live. It was like the minesweeper that never ended, even if you died was how he thought of it. The backwards skeleton girl he was targeting was next on the list, anything that tried to get him was going to be on the list. He would defend the room with all his might.
Except when the room wasn't there anymore. vines that took up refuge all over the room began to spiral away as he put his guard up, vines normally didn't do that and after what it did to the No mouth, he didn't want to take any chances. but the room fell to pieces and the only option left to take was the portal out.
there was no question that he would leap through it.
