To heal or to attack? That was the question for miss Mercedes. Instead of rushing for the beast, despite Hadjoc's CLEAR desperation to get some action at full charge, she turned to take note of the more wounded-than-her again and went for the ever ambitious Jerry who still tried to use the harpoons. "I don't know how much this will help-" she said and winced when she caught the tentacle grabbing Robert behind them. "-But worth a shot-" The trainee worked to tend the sun's injuries. Using 2/3 of Mist as Life buff CONGRATS ON +1 HP JERRY biggrin

He was getting close to having a full charge. They really needed to get another harpoon going. He tried to attack the tentacles again but the tail of Shang fell just short of landing a hit as tentacle swept out of the way. Unfortunately, it swept right into him. Thankfully there was another hunter defending him, but it didn't block the entire blow.

As Sasha watched the tentacles writhing around her, she just kind of.. clicked off. The doctor was gone, the beast was vicious; what could they do? Did it matter? Nothing registered, not for a long stretch of time. It wasn't until Nona's voice rang out, shattering the terrible vacancy that had filled Sasha's eyes.
Nona did not speak to her bonded; her voice rang out in crisp, clear notes that echoed deep within the recesses of Sasha's mind. The young woman blinked rapidly as the hushed lament lifted to a higher note; melodious and bright, Nona's song seemed to snap Sasha back.
Silent tears tracked down her pale cheeks as she rose to her feet. Her bonded's song was a gentle trill now, an encouraging ballad. It focused Sasha just enough that she could function enough to make her way over to Jerry; he was wounded, and Sasha fumbled for a brief moment with the bandages before successfully applying them.
Nona's voice became a soothing, mellow resonance; in silence, Sasha took a moment to take in the sight laid out before her - just in case someone else needed her assistance.

Robert stood up, flushed from laying on the snow + almost being tentacle raped, and patted Leon on the back with a brusque and coughed out "Yeah, uh, thanks bro."
Then he gave Madison all the hugs, and got out another band-aid, sliding it underneath her hair with a loving grin. "Thanks, princess. You're tops."

Okay, she was sick of tentacles trying to grab everybody.
Cass didn't even have to adjust her hold on Nicodemus as she moved in and began to start slicing through the smaller ones that were about to work at giving at least somebody a clear shot at getting that last Harpoon Gun charged up.
Too bad defending didn't charge Nicodemus, sigh.

Clerise pulled herself together, wiping at her eyes.
Time to be productive. She ran to that shirtless fellow she saw on twitter a lot, preparing to defend him.
But first, she took a picture to show Clarice.
Once next to him, Clerise peered at him, pitying look on her face. "Your poor nipples." She peered at them, curious. And poked one.
And then she readied to defend him.

The bandage immediately sent a completely ridiculous sense of well-being and vitality flooding through Madison, in violation of all physical evidence. "Thanks," she said, straightening, though there was still tension and a pulled ligament to deal with, and those made her wince. Still, she was no longer feeling quite so foul...
"I don't have anything left - I mean, Kouki doesn't, so... I'll do what needs doing. You guys go charge!"

It felt like it had been ages since the fight started, and yet there had been little change in the titan's attacks. It was like, everything they had done had no affect on it whatsoever. Ryan on the other hand, was feeling the effects of the battle. His movements were getting slower and slower and more attacks were getting past him.
"s**t, its coming at you again Wilson!" He called back, bracing for another hit, knowing that it was going to hit.

How this was a photot op, Leon didn't know, was there a mass of tentacle/hunter photos on that camera? he was going to make a note to smash that camera ask Clerise later. but the preparations to charge was being made, a deep, cleansing breath, and a steady grip on the chainsaw and then - poke.
"What the heck was that for?!" the startling touch make his blood run cold, like one of the wiggly things found its way around him. "NOT COOL, i thought it was a tentacle!" the boxer cried out in dismay and used his free hand to cover his nipply shame. It's great that Wilson hit hard whenever Ryan sucked at defending. Wilson had the best logic.

Once again, Jordan scrambled out of the way of tentacles as he was freed, this time making sure to get considerably father away from the hole in the ice. And also making sure not to turn his back on it, because that had been seriously embarrassing. "Thanks," he said again, sheepishly.
Ferros growled in his head, shifting restlessly, aggression on low, constant simmer. The weapon was torn between the driving urge to feed and the sane, logical knowledge that his shield had weakened dangerously; his frustration was bleeding over, making Jordan tense and irritable. He kept himself under tight control. Screwing something up by letting himself snap at the wrong person at the wrong time would be worse than useless.

Leon felt another poke to his chest, this one lingering suggestively to the point of almost caressing him. Had Clarice come to save they day?
