His legs were burning with the effort of moving now and it was difficult to breathe. Somewhere, in the back of his mind, Gale knew he was pushing himself too far, too hard, but he was not about to stop now, not with everything in his life collapsing down around him. There wasn't much else he could do except keep going.
And even that was painful.
Gale dropped to his knees, his vision wavering in and out.

It took Sasha a few very long moments to snap out of the panicked daze she found herself in. Julie... wasn't Julie. Julie was some sort of husk of the girl she'd been before. And .. the bugs.
They were everywhere.
Everyone was frantic, swinging and defending and moving and shouting orders and ... praying? Everyone seemed to know what this meant; death. Loss. Destruction.
Sasha caught sight of Jerry, moving towards him frantically while there was a lapse in action; a short breath of time, but enough to give him a little support, a little bit of rejuvenation. She'd been paralyzed by fear; at the moment, this was all that she could accomplish.

God. He was tired, but he felt better when he heard a familiar voice behind him. It was Dakota. The moon trainee might have been able to hear Wilson laugh. “Thanks, bro.” He nodded to both Dakota and Ami after muttering a hasty apology. “Sorry!” Gramps, are you ready? Wilson received only an excited, wheezy laugh before he unleashed another shot of gas.

How did he get on the floor? Harrison had a brief moment of disorientation. When did Jerry get over here? And where- the details came back. Fainted. He fainted. And he was still alive! It was a ******** Christmas miracle! ....s**t, that was embarrassing. He tried to sit up, woozy but determined.
He was going to stab a ******** of bugs.
"Jerry," he croaked, "I got- I got you..." he held B0nez up.
And then he saw Julie again.
All the color went right back out of his face, and he swayed dangerously.

Rep heard Harrison come to behind him and a massive weight of apprehension lifted, good, he was up. He was up. That was a start.
He panicked when he saw the other hunter go pale again. Not on his ******** watch.
Hauling himself to his feet he got right in front of him, in the way of Julie and SHOOK him, earnest concern etched on his tired features. "Hey ACE. Don't ******** LOOK! Just do your job man. Don't look at it. Look at anything else."
Lifting Tracey in one hand, he swatted back bugs from Jerry with a scowl, but the other one he kept firmly holding onto Harrison's coat.
"Cause so help me I'll slap you man, and I promised not to hit you." Joking, it helped him at least, he hoped it helped Harrison focus.

Ryan couldn't attack again, not without provoking the bugs into attacking again. Not when they were growing stronger, and angrier with each blow from the trainees. No. They needed one final shot to take out the remainder of them, once and for all.
Noting that the others gathered around to protect Jerry, now that his weapon was charged and ready, he moved to join them. Ready to fend the bugs off with all he had.

Jerry couldn't breath. There were bodies everywhere, all crowded around him, the guy with the bazooka.
"Oy vey," He managed weakly, his hands trembling as he hauled Roar around once more.

He pulled the trigger, green light erupting from the cannon's eyes and mouth before the roar ripped forward, purging the sky of bugs.
The Sun Hunter staggered backward from the blast, but somehow managed to stay on his feet, a distant look in his eyes.
