Hey everyone.
Serenes Forest has posted bloggers' links that have some gallery from the Knights of Iris book. Somehow, if this book come to NA, I can't wait to see the images of the characters, landscape, and everything.
Some of the characters in the official arts looks awesome, while some either have weird poses or awkward focus. ((Is it just me or does Paris' OA looks like the focus is on his crotch? >>; )) Anyway, I love how the artist is using the color and shadows in the artwork of the characters. Really amazing.

I don't recommend looking at it though if you don't want to get spoiled. But other then that, CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY COPY! *jumps in excitement* I've always been a fan of arbooks XD. See how the creators went from this design to this design and their thoughts. What they would like to include, what they didn't, changed etc etc.

Hecks yeah, Feburary 4th! I'll be reserving it. I will have already turned 22 by then, so I can't guilt trip anyone into getting it for me. Not that I'd want to... I wish I could look at the Knights of Iris artbook, as I love artbooks as well, especially ones that include concept art and storyboards and the like. But as I have said in the past, I sadly have to refrain for fear of spoilers. I'll try to pick it up myself eventually, though. It looks like a good purchase. I love how casually the fellow in the Nintendo Direct update says that Sully is "Known as the women to end all men."

Called it on page 8 of the thread. Manic Martini Personally, I'd prefer giving the game a T rating and be done with it. The whole unit confession thing, making pairings for making babies, attempts at suicide, etc... A T rating would mean less censorship in general. Is a E10 REALLY going to deter a younger crowd or attract more players? I would think not. I always enjoy the fact that playing FE on translated ROMs meant I was getting the real thing instead of a censored American version from FE4-6 (trying FE3 soon), but I DO highly doubt Nono will be left untouched. Her face itself isn't particularly prepubescent, just her body. I don't think they'd outright take her out of the game though. I also dislike the name "n_n"; it looks more like an emoticon than a name and would prefer "Soso". And I am pleased. This is a good direction for how to handle the series in America in my book.

If you guys haven't already heard (Which I think everyone has), but Gamestop is giving away a limited edition Fire Emblem: Awakening character artbook if you pre-order the game at their website. For me, its kinda 'meh' since I refuse to give Gamestop anymore money mainly cause they've been a bunch of sexist bastards to me for the last 10 years, and I already have the 'Knights of Iris' artbook XP. Good thing I haven't reserved it yet. I wonder how much content the artbook will have. Probably not as much as Knights of Iris since it's a preorder bonus, but we'll see. Nonetheless I want it.
According to a friend of mine, Knights of Iris has hit some Japanese Import Stores stateside for 70$. Hm.

Heard about it a few days ago on Serenes and I'm very happy. Hopefully this will be most successful FE in the States as well so there will be a greater demand for materials like this in the future.
People would NOT be happy if it was the Knights of Iris book simply because of how much money some have shelled out for it.
I'll definitely be preordering for it, myself.

I figured some people might have known about it, but wasn't sure XD.
Character artbook. I'm assuming just arts of some of the characters in the game. Mini artbook I suppose, like those ones that come with NISAmerica Limited Edition bundles that they do with games (Mostly the Atelier series).
