  Nash was a bit surprised by what Syn had asked him. He knew that she had a fear of horses. Had she really gotten over it that quickly? Hm, well, if she was asking for riding lessons then she must know what she was talking about. "Sure thing," he replied with a smile. "You can learn on Moondance if you would like... or we could use another horse."

He flinched at the snowball that exploded right in front of him, wondering who threw it. He realized who did it when Mr. Gray told him to go play with his friend and walked away to get a drink. Damn it, he didn't even get the chance to argue!
"What the hell, Isamu!?" He obviously wasn't too happy at the moment, and just had to take it out on him. Mr. Gray was finally away from that woman, but in a second, he was gone again. Xochiquetzal didn't want to sound nosy, but the girl really did want to be there when Veith confronted Kasie about.. whatever he was planning on the last she spoke with him. They were her signs and, really, whatever they did needed to be interpreted and recorded in her journal for future reference. It was imperative that she observe them as often as she could! “..He believes you to be.. unhappy with your.. status.” She replied as she glanced back at the crowd to see if she could spot the boy, but he didn't seem to be anywhere.. She supposed he must have been sleeping. “I have informed him you were content, however, he wanted to ask you himself.” She paused after her third check of the crowd below and looked back to her, “...I believe he may be.. projecting. I apologize, but have you observed any.. discontent with him?”

Is having someone I can trust too much to ask for?
Isamu's ears instantly drooped when he realized that Rose was not in a good mood. The harshness in the other boy's voice stung like knives. Isamu hadn't even known that there was some sort of argument going on between Rose and Gray, so he had thought the ice ball would make Rose laugh. But it did the exact opposite. Isamu sat back down on the bench with his back towards Rose. He sighed and glanced at Tshila with a look of hurt on his face then turned his gaze to the ground. The boy felt horrible now. He hadn't meant to anger Rose...

Synthallyn Theax  Syn nodded, "Moondance...I think will be fine. He didn't seem to...hate me. I figure that if I take a chance with this, it'll end up alright. I mean...I took a chance getting to know people despite fearing them and...I have new friends." She grinned at the thought and looked up at Nash, "And this way, it will be like I can fly in a way and be tall. Right?"

"Yeah," he replied with a smile. "You can fly and be tall whenever you want. No one has the right to tell you otherwise." He then picked up his lantern that was sitting next to him on the bench and held it out to her. "And this... is for you......." he told her softly. He really hoped that she wouldn't think he was a creep or something. But he really wanted to give her his lantern.

 Silveril Volce ________________________Silveril just gave a nod to acknowledge Keina's statement. He was used to all the lights now, but he still preferred to be in the dark better since it was just his nature. It was funny to recall that his classroom used to be so dark and every time someone turned on the lights he'd flinch so badly. Silveril was glad that he had finally over come his aversion to the light. Of course he still felt uncomfortable being outside in the sun.
"Lantern...? I'm actually not sure. I've never done anything like this before. I didn't know that there was a selection of lanterns to choose from. I guess any one is fine for me. What about you? Did you have something in mind?" Silveril asked her. ________________________

Synthallyn Theax Syn beamed at him, his words making her happier than anything. For him to say that she could be tall and fly when she wanted, it was like a dream come true. When he held out his lantern to her she gasped and blushed. "For...me?" she couldn't help but giggle nervously. Taking the fragile lantern into her hands she stared from him to the lantern back to him and them back to the lantern. It took her a minute to remember his explanation of the exchange before she murmured, "Oh." Did this mean he liked her? Of course you idiot, remember why people exchange lanterns? a voice in her head grumbled. Did she like him?Thinking about it, she realized, she did like him and that she had been hoping for his lantern since he told her of the tradition. Carefully setting his lantern in her lap she took hold of hers and shyly offered it to him. "For....for you."

I have so much to be thankful for.... but there are so many things that I wish I could change as well.""Heh... when I was younger I used to wish on shooting stars.
