The Hokage nodded to Shijura before moving off into Konoha.
Vale closed his eyes. "The who is up to you Chi."

Silence filled the room, only to be broken when Chi leaned over slightly in the chair, placing a light kiss on Vale's cheek. She didn't say anything after that, but just laid her head down next to his on the pillow.

Vale's cheeks flushed for a moment before he reached up with his right hand, gently placing it on the side of her head.

After leaving where she once stood, they headed towards the hospital. Repeating the Hokage's words in her head as they arrived, she headed inside. It took awhile to find the room, but she finally came. "Chi, I'm here." She said standing at the doorway.
Oversized Oreo Cookies: Eeh! Sorry sorry, I was meaning to tell you all but every time I tried something else came up. >.< I won't do it anymore.

Chi smiled slightly and shut her eyes, feeling his hand on her head. However, her little moment of peace broke when Shijura spoke up. Her face immediately turned a deep rose red as she sat up and glanced over her shoulder at the Chunin. "O-oh hi there, Shijura. Yo-ou scared me... An-nyways, what did the Hokage say? Did he find something on the Uchiha Case?"

Shijura chuckled before nodding. "Mm hmm. He told me he found an old mission case." She said tapping her chin. "Oh yeah. Did the cure work?" She asked looking at Chi.

Chi blinked twice and smiled, getting to her feet. "Yeah, it worked. Mind keeping an eye on Vale for a bit? I need to talk to the Hokage immediately." Without actually waiting for a response, she kissed Vale lightly on the forehead before darting out of the hospital and making her way through the village to find the Hokage.

Chi sighed and slowed down in her racing. So far, no sign of the Hokage. "Ok where the h**l can he be-" She cut short, peeking into the Ichiraku's Ramen Shop, followed by slapping her palm against her forehead. Yes, a facepalm. Well wouldn't you if you just found the person you were searching the whole village for in the ramen shop eating? "Hokage-sama!"

"Sure I do-" Before actually getting her sentence out, Chi had left. Watching her leave, she went in the room and glanced over at Vale. "Soo..." She mumbled clicking her red fingernails together.

Vale looked over in the Inuzuka's direction, his eyes open halfway. "Speak freely please. Don't mind my feelings either."
The Hokage looked up, slurping noodles, a pair of copsticks in his hands.

Chi let out a long sigh, putting one hand on her hip as she walked over to him. "Not to be rude, Hokage-sama, but can you get that to go or just finish it quickly? Shijura said you found something on the case. I-i need to know about it..."

Shijura just smiled as she sat down on the floor crossing her legs. "So, what's going on between you and Chi?" She asked rocking slowly with a bright smile.

Without hesitation, or removing the food from his mouth, the Hokage pulled out a manuscript, handing it to Chi. On it was labeled: "Classified: Uchiha Mission Report".
Vale's cheeks turned red slightly but he closed his eyes. "A connection and pairing." he said, trying not to explain it awkwardly. "At least, that's the way I see it."

Chi took the manuscript quickly and sat down next to the Hokage. With a few quick glances around the ramen shop, she started reading through the papers slowly. "It's... really here... Itachi isn't a murderer of his family..." She clenched her fists, lowering her head. "The Leaf is..."
