Mau hadn't been expecting the ice beam from above. He slipped slightly on the ice, having to cling to the railing to not fall. Which in turn spared him from the comming roll out attack. Hearing his name, he glanced at Faleen as she sent out her shark. His grin was not the normal, good natured grin he usually sported. This was more devious. "AKI!" He called to the vaporeon who was still bristled at Sierra's side. He gestured forward. "Surf!" The vaporeon didn't give it a second thought. The dragon had fainted. New target time. He sprang up near the Sharpeedo and mustered everything he had for a surf, adding to the one Faleen's pokemon conjured. If they could take out the fire bug in the process...

Mau gave a sharp whistle. Ire, who had hung back jumped forward, spring boarding off her trainer's back. While Aki and the Sharpeedo were trying to clear the way, Mau pointed at the steel-magnet pokemon. "Hidden power." The lavander-eyed Jolteon sneered, gathering up her energy for the fire-based attack. "Uta" He stared at the Chimecho, who shifted back towards the back of the group, covering them from behind... just in case.

Nioshii missed. Well. That was not something he was used to. Drawing in a breath, he was just about to fire off another Flamethrower when he heard the gunshot. Seeing red from fury, he whirled around on Tethys with a mighty roar, and charged, teeth aimed right at her and that nasty loud metal thing that was hurting those around him in a Bite attack.

Next to break out was Chora, and Luxury released her right before the ice beam made her fall -once again- on her arse. The grunt let out a few choice words, then, "Man this is getting old! Chora! Trio!" For a second, the Purrloin tilted her head, then heard the scramblings of Mairu and Kururi as they went up the catwalk. Oh, yes, right! Happily, the cat pokemon skittered after her friends, grinning evilly because of course, three little Purrloin were a lot more trouble than one or two.

User ImageUser Image The pink haired Elite had been at the front of the group, rushing down the catwalk as swiftly as possible. The green and white Mewtwo was a trusted tool to her, and she did not question its ability to protect her as needed. She concentrated her efforts on dodging and going around the Pokemon that were being tossed in her way. The girl was relatively successful. That was until a Magneton and Donphan had been released. Kunai almost immediately stumbled. Some might have thought it had something to do with the injury she had suffered earlier, but that wasn't the case at all. Instead of falling flat on her face, the Pokemon shield of hers managed to catch her with the use of Psychic.

"Keep moving forward..." she uttered aloud as she remained in the Pokemon's psychic hold.

The Mewtwo didn't even seem to acknowledge the order, but continued to carry the girl along until she was able to take over again.

User Image Lingering towards the middle of the gathering, the hacker shouted to his respective Pokemon the next course of action. "OMG, use Zap Cannon on the Starmie. WTF, use..."

It was about that time that a Donphan using Rollout managed to collide with him. "HOSH*T!" Getting bowled off to the side, the hacker couldn't help but let out a string of curses. Just the mere impact of the Pokemon had managed to somehow do something to his leg. Judging from how there was something pointy poking out from the shin of his uniform, he somewhat suspected it must have been a broken leg.

Quickly, the hacker recalled the blue Porygon-Z and let out a Pokemon he had called out earlier in the mission.

User Image Upon being called out again, the Alakazam simply stared at the hacker for a moment. Humans, unlike Pokemon, did not have the ability to use Recover. The Alakazam's eyes began to glow, and soon enough 1337 was back on his feet again. Sort of. It was more like the Pokemon was carrying him now with Psychic.

User Image The pink Porygon-Z did manage to get its order. It had used Lock-on the previous turn, calculating rather in depth how it was going to hit the opponent. With that, it released a massive amount of electricity, aiming its Zap Cannon for that pesky moving target of a Starmie.

Ice on the walkway, Donphan attacking, bullet coming at her; Tambrey did slip on the ice, though thankfully she managed to slip out of the way of the attacking elephant.
Neph was not a fan of being shot at; she'd somehow- likely due to the fact she never stopped moving, avoided being hit, and the bullet had instead shot in front of an Ella who had just stopped sliding along, following after the spider. Needless to say, the Aron was fairly startled, but remembering her instructions, attempted to cover Neph from further shots.
This was never going to work; Neph had been shot at. She was /angry/ about that and wanted to get up there.
Ella tried to follow as Neph kept moving, even as the spider shot another string shot up at the gun, but was distracted (unlike the spider pokemon) by a cry from their trainer.

Tambrey's luck held out in that in slipping a little on the ice, she'd not only managed to avoid the attack of the Donphan, but instead of being shot as Tethys intended, she'd suffered a nasty graze to her left side.
The uniform was torn, as was the skin beneath, in a streak from the bullet's path. The flesh was ripped and burned from the twisting, heated metal of the projectile, but she'd live.
Not that she was totally aware of that right now; Tambrey'd certainly never been shot at before. She wasn't entirely sure what it was supposed to feel like but this was beginning to hurt a very large amount.
On instinct, her hand went to her side, but she winced and made another involuntary noise. It took a couple of moments before she realised that... no, she didn't have a bullet -in- her. She wasn't dead.
But now it was very painful to do things.
Pain versus reality itself being overwritten...?
"Nguh... Keep after Neph." She told Ella. Needed to do a job, not sit here... Wincing, she got herself back up. "I'm right behind you."

Ella gave one short nod and then hurried after the spider. Oh, she hoped this would all turn out okay and that Neph wasn't too far ahead already.

Lasi had found himself hit by the worst pain he had ever felt!
The electro ball had hit true and Lasi decided very quickly that it was /worse/ than the time he had been slammed into a tree by a Shaymin explosion.
It had seriously weakened him... In fact... He'd nearly fallen right out of the air and down to the floor below! There was no way he could take another one. The bat grit his teeth and turned to face the Magneton.
He concentrated his supersonic that way in the hope that its electric attacks might find its own team and leave him well alone! Did not want that again... Painful, painful thing.

While all the fighting and yelling orders was going on around them, Izaya concentrated all his focus on getting up the higher catwalks to position himself above a single, lone figure in the area near the Keldeo. If he could just get near enough, he could have a height advantage, but it was tricky. The walkways were precarious and his wound still forced him to move slowly. He was glad he managed to get to the catwalk before the main walkway became slippery with the Glaceon's Ice Beam and then that Donphan used Roll Out. Celty stayed close behind him, looking anxiously at the happenings going down below. Hadn't the pink-haired human wanted them to stay together...?

Meanwhile, Mairu and Kururi were on another elevated catwalk over the main walkway, watching the battle. As Faleen requested help with Surf and Mau's Aki aided Nommy, the girls looked at each other and smiled. They weren't water-types, but they would use Assist to help out! Mairu would assist Nommy, and Kururi would assist Aki. An instant later, Chora had joined them. And how happy they were to see her! Mairu glanced at Chora, wondering if she knew the same move they did and if she wanted to help to try to talk out the molten moth-thing.

A brief expulsion of breath; things had become very hectic very quickly. Fire encroached from one direction, ice from another, someone had chucked a damnable Donphan at them-- This was just awful.

"Ugh." Shouldn't that Volcarona be burning itself alive or something? Bug-types were simply too tenacious. "Give it another Power Gem!" The Mismagius attacked accordingly, keeping the shimmering Volcarona well in her sights.

Charmant dug her feet into the floor and suffered the blow with fangs gritted. She reared back for a Flamethrower in retaliation but, noticing the proximity of Celeste, instead turned her might against the Lucario in a vicious Fire Fang.

The magneton let out a metallic screech as Ire's hidden power engulfed the steel type pokemon in flames, thought it remained floating when the last bits of fire died away. It retaliated, but it seemed the supersonic had done its job; The Magneton turned and shot a bolt of electricity at the Milotic.

The Donphan, having completed its roll down the walkway, made a tight turn and came back around for a second round of rollout.

"Recov--" Tethys started to say before a massive blast of electricity sent her Starmie spinning down to the coils of cables below the walkways, smoking slightly. "Hah," the commander hissed and recalled the weakened, paralyzed Pokemon. Three more were sent out in its place, and these were new - a matched pair of white and green Pokemon, tall and humanoid in form, appeared between the Galactic leaders and the Rockets: Gardevoir and Gallade. The more feminine of the two shot forward, white hands outstretched and red eyes blazing. A shimmering Protect wall appeared in Nioshii's path, blocking the Arcanine and Neph's String Shot from reaching Deimos and Tethys.

Behind her, the Gallade sharpened the blades on his arms in a Swords Dance.

The third was what looked like nothing so much as an ornate metal bell. "Get me in range," the commander snapped, hooking a foot under the curved crossbar. "Orion, Andre, watch him!" Though not her usual mode of transport, the Bronzong was trained enough in this duty; it swung upward, above the containment orbs.

Tethys narrowed her eyes, sighted, and fired into the crowd at a familiar fluffy head - multiple times. She didn't want to miss.

Nyx hadn't been keeping an eye on Tethys since she'd had to move out of the way of the charging donphan. She felt a searing pain in her shoulder before she heard the gunshot. And more gunshots. Maxwell reacted as quickly as she could, using her steel body to shield her master as best she could, but the dinosaur wasn't as quick as a bullet.

"What..." Nyx mumbled as she raised a bloodied hand up from her midsection and suddenly collapsed. Anyone who looked would notice 3 readily visible wounds on the fallen Elite: her shoulder, her midsection, and her leg.

The Volcarona had stationed itself at the midpoint of the catwalk and continued to wave its wings in an increasingly intense Quiver Dance. The flames around it grew hotter and brighter, engulfing the man-sized moth in a burning corona that effectively blocked passage as it rose up to avoid the combined Surf attacks. Even so, there was a loud hiss and plumes of steam as the water hit the tips of its bottom wings and body.

Up on the catwalks, a Galactic released a Hitmonchan who leaped down into the midst of the Rockets, fists blazing in a Thunder Punch attack aimed at Faleen's Sharpedo.

The Milotic waved its tail calmly, getting struck by a thundershock and cringed. However, it looked up as a screaming Pidgeot dove towards it. The water type's mouth opening in time to spew a flurry of ice and snow towards Swiftwing and Celeste both in a Blizzard attack, after Bandit had been struck by the wing attack, fire fang, and dark pulse.

However, that was about the time that the Surf was unleashed. Bandit's eyes widened and he quickly lept upward to stand on the Milotic's head. The long water type getting buffeted by the strong current with a squeal managed to avoid serious damage, but was pushed into the adjoining walkway, clearing a path for the Rockets. The Lucario did not escape damage, but managed to avoid getting swept away. The fighting type's fists then began to glow once more as he then hurled a massive ball of purple energy towards Aki in an Aura Sphere.

Leaving his Pokemon to fend for themselves, Orion ran up the nearest catwalk, heading towards his colleagues. What he didn't expect to see up there, was a Rocket. A sharp metal object was then expertly thrown in Izaya's direction, which after close inspection, he might realize was a kunai knife. In fact, it was Kunai's kunai knife, the one Orion had "acquired" back during the volcano mission.

From his perch, Orion heard Tethys' shout and glanced down towards Deimos and blinking as he saw the boss just... standing there. "Hey boss man, ya okay? Snap out of it, dude!" He didn't know what the guy's problem was, but that exploding hedgehog could be pretty handy right about now.

If Deimos heard Orion he gave no indication. His eye remained fixed on the raging battle. Andre frowned at his master. "Shay.."

"..I don't understand."

The incoming Flareon spotted Marle nimbly dodging his flamethrower and honed in on the electric mouse as his target. "Flare!" He sprang off the railing, spun once in the air and unleashed a fire blast.

The Glaceon on the upper catwalk with its master continued to fire attacks from the safety of their lofty perch. It let loose another icebeam, this time aimed at Clyde.

People were being shot at! With guns! Celty couldn't stand the thought. She wanted to dive down there to Nyx, and - but no, Izaya was her trainer, and he had told her to stay close by. Nyx had her own pokemon. But - but those poor humans!

Izaya was not concerned with Celty's emotions at the moment. Hearing the soft whirr of a blade slicing through the air as it headed his way, the thin man twisted around with his switchblade drawn to deflect the oncoming projectile. Whether he successfully deflected it or not was of little consequence, however, because upon acting on his instincts and twisting around, the grunt had split open his side again. The bandages were soon drenched with fresh blood and he grimaced in agony, falling to lean on the railing of a catwalk.

"Celty...Hypnosis!" he told his Spiritomb, nodding toward Orion. He, too, had noitced Deimos, but the Galactic Leader seemed to be the least of their troubles at the moment. "I don't think your boss-man can help you right now," Izaya sneered as he clutched at the opened wound in his side. "Isn't it horrible how trust and affection for another can be such a weakness...?"

Rocket Agent Faleen

PostPosted: Thu Nov 10, 2011 10:29 pm

Faleen's eyebrows arched, when the surf seemed to have cleared most of the walk way, at least getting the Galactic and most of the Pokemon out of the way.
"Yes! Good girls!" she told the two Purrloin, that had helped with the attacks

Faleen went onto the com again, speaking to all the Rockets to let them know.
(All Rockets over the com)
"The path to the computer is mostly cleared, we need more man power on that fire moth, once we reach the computer we can try and hold ground there with what pokemon we have left!"
They needed to get to the computer, anything they needed to do that was important was going to be done there.

"If you have a pokemon to spare, please help."

She looked to her Sharpedo, as he was suddenly struck with a fighting type move.
She winced, her poor shark, he took a bad hit, The Sharpedo roaring and twitching in pain from the electricity, being super affective on his other type.
Faleen clenched her teeth, her firsts balling up.
It hurt him, she could tell, even if he wasn't out he would not be able to last much longer.
She wasn't going to recall him though, she had a job for him to do before he was finished off.
"Sharpedo, Ignore it!"
She said to him, as the sharpedo glared, and twitched, ready to attack the Hitmonchan.
"Aquajet the Moth! Banette, use Shadow ball on the Moth!"

Stupid fighting types.
She threw out another ball, this one holding her Zoroark.
"Zoroark! Night daze oh the Moth!"

She didn't want to go losing track of where the green haired galactic went, frowning as she glanced upward where Orion had jumped, her eyes wide when she noticed that Izaya was on the same level as him.
"Nakura, rejoin the-" To late, it seemed the Galactic had spotted him, and something was thrown at Nakura, and the Grunt react as if in pain.
Crap, this Galactic was trained, she had seen it before.
"Nakura! don't go against him! Regroup!"

There was gun fire away, and Faleen reacted to the noise, ducking away and staggering herself toward one of the walls, hoping not to get hit... but with the situation as it was, there was no way that someone was not going to get hit.
Faleen's eyes widened when she looked up to see just who was now suffering from a few more open wounds... and after knowing what it was like to get shot, Faleen knew this was serious.
"NYX!"
The Elite had fallen, Faleen moved to try and get to her, at least to get her out of the way from anymore gun fire, since Faleen knew she would probably be one of the biggest targets.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 10, 2011 10:34 pm

Mairu and Kururi, somewhat disappointed with their attacks but perking up at Faleen's praise, glanced at each other before splitting off. They would meet each other later. Mairu made a small mew at Chora to encourage her to follow if she so chose, while Kururi simply dropped off the catwalk, aiming for Deimos - perhaps his shoulder or head. Preferably not on the living lump of lawn already sitting on him. The human wasn't moving. Why wasn't he moving? Was he okay?

Mairu, meanwhile, hurried toward the Glaceon with its Galactic trainer, ready to use Sand Attack on it in order to at least try to hinder its ice beams from above. That just wasn't fair.

As the Donphan came back around for another Rollout, Inigo pointed Leilani in the ground-type's direction. The Meganium happily complied and fired a Solarbeam directly at the Donphan as Inigo tried to follow the others to the computer at the end of the walkway.

When the Starmie went down, both Whimsicott hopped off and bounded back into the fray, Clyde following his smaller and younger cousin - that is until he was hit by an Ice Beam. He fell and rolled over himself with a sharp cry, but thankfully from the effects of the previous Mega Drains he wasn't too badly injured thus far. Bonnie halted and hurried back to him, then glared up at the ice-type. "Whimsi!" She said to her cousin sharply, and he jumped up to comply. He whipped up a Gust attack to fling his cousin up onto the catwalk where the Glaceon was, and she made every attempt to cling to the offending ice-type and subject it to an up close and personal Mega Drain to the head.

Revenant recoiled from the intensifying heat; her attacks weren't seeming to have much impact, and it was starting to look like it would be rather dangerous to remain in the proximity of the Volcarona. Her attention was drawn from the morbid display by her trainer's call, "Revenant, stop that thing!" Her human had spied the Donphan in the midst of its return trip, and she was not willing to wait and see what its increased momentum did against the bones of her teammates this time around. It looked like a cleaner scene than messing around with the fire moth, at least, and so the Mismagius turned against the Donphan with Telekinesis, attempting to at least derail it from its course.

Gunshot again; Aila winced from the unexpected sound of it and turned to see who had been the target. Nyx was down, and in a bad way. Damn it. How much first aid had they brought along? How much time could they afford with their eyes somewhere other than the enemy? She grimaced; enemy or not, damned if she was going to stand calmly aside while her teammate suffered gunshot trauma. Taking her Spinarak's pokeball in hand, she maneuvered across the hazardous walkway to the fallen elite, calling on the still exhausted spider. Oookay, she was no trauma surgeon, but she could at least stop bleeding, right?

"Nyx, are you all right?" Of course the elite wasn't all right - that was nothing if not a ridiculous question - but any response to indicate that the other Rocket was conscious was a favorable one. She regarded Faleen briefly with an expression of sheer defiance: They would not fall here. None of them. "Mise, can you wrap these wounds?" she murmured to the fearful spider trembling at her shoulder. It was loud and dangerous and scary, but... but Ailahuman was counting on him... Though not without reluctance, the Spinarak began weaving a mesh of silk to stem the elite's bleeding.

'SKREEEEE!' Celeste shrieked, unable to escape from the icy onslaught in time. The sheer force of the attack sent her tumbling through the air, ice crystals forming on her feathers, weighing her down. It took everything she had once out of the initial blast to right herself before she slammed into something. And there were plenty of things to accidentally slam into out here.

Sierra had warned her to be careful, that they needed to stick together and help each other out. She was trying to help, but she wasn't sure she could do much more good out here. Not like this. Flapping her frost-laden wings painfully, she wheeled away from the Lucario and Milotic team, heading back to check on her trainer.

Instead, she witnessed Marle become the victim of a Flareon's Fire Blast. The little Pikachu attempted to dodge, but even with her speed, she was caught up in the blast and sent tumbling end over end along the walkway. She tried to pick herself up...stumbled...then collapsed in a half sitting position. She wasn't doing well...but she wasn't going down without a fight either! She charged up, releasing a Thundershock at the Flareon. Above, Celeste dove down, the heat from the Fire Blast melting the ice from her wings as she attempted to save her teammate with a Wing Attack aimed for the Flareon.

More gunfire; more ringing in her ears. Sierra cringed, clinging to the rail for support as she tried to climb back to her feet on the slippery ice that had once been a floor. She heard Faleen's voice through the coms, and looked to see the group pushing forward, making headway towards the computer. Best to stick to the group, so it'd be time to move soon. She started to look for her companions when she heard Faleen's voice again, more real this time, as if not through an electronic...

Her eyes fixed on the downed Elite and the Agent rushing towards her. Oh sh... Without thinking, else she'd have considered that this was likely making her a target as well, Sierra rushed towards Nyx and Faleen, soon joined by Aila. Her eyes darted to the central computer, then back to the fighting, then back to Nyx, the grave nature of their situation beginning to set in. Even if they made it to the computer to make their stand, then what? They'd be surrounded and likely picked off one by one, even if they did succeed. If they didn't just blow themselves up in the process instead. And obviously if they failed, well, they'd not be getting out of here alive, that was for sure.

This was looking like a suicide mission, no matter how she looked at it.

She looked back to Nyx and Faleen, swallowing hard. Only the weak gave up. Even if the odds were impossible, that was no excuse for weakness. None.

Blinking rapidly, she deployed her last two Pokemon, the Dark Eevee and shiny Umbreon appearing at her feet, ready for action. "Layla, Khalon. Watch our backs," she barked, turning towards her superior officers once more. She watched the little spider go to work, stifling a brief moment of wonder. She'd not have thought of that. To Faleen and Aila, she nodded curtly, moving to Nyx's other side. "Come on, as soon as that's done, we've got to get her out of here. Time to move."
PostPosted: Thu Nov 10, 2011 10:59 pm

Lasi had already turned and was once more fluttering for the Volcarona.
Thus Tambrey found she didn't need to shout to redirect him or anything. Looking that way, there he was aiming another supersonic at the moth.
He looked battered, but determined; he was a reliable bat and she knew he'd use his initiative for the next attack.

Wincing, Tambrey turned to see where the next lot of bullets went and widened her eyes as Nyx went down. That wasn't good.
She didn't know much of first aid and would likely be useless in going back. She pressed on instead, frowning as Neph shot attacks into a barrier.
"Sorry Palu..." She muttered, calling the bird out.
"Grab Neph, try and get her onto that Bronzong but don't get close; throw her if you must... She'll likely do... what she needs from there..."
Palu took off immediately to do as told.
Neph did not take kindly to being snatched up, but soon tolerated it as she realised just where the bird was taking her.
They went up, Palu trying to get a good enough aim... to drop Neph onto the bell-shaped pokemon. Neph fully intended to use Night Shade on it given the chance.

Ella watched, confused. She could not fly. How would she follow the spider now? Her bewildered expression turned its attention back to Tambrey.
"Keep going forward." She pointed to where Deimos was. "We'll get there and then... well. Y'can start chewing on wires or something?"

“Nyx!” Panther turned to her. She was down, and it was all that woman’s fault. He glared at her, and unleashed shadow once more, who appeared with a loud burst of laughter. “Shadow! That woman!” his hand popped up and he released his fingers upward.
Shadow let out another louder laugh and flew strait towards Tethy with a shadow punch already armed.

Luxury let out a gasp at the sudden shots and the red of Nyx. She bearly got a step forward before Nyx was swarmed and taken by two agents. So much red. Then she was gripped by Agent panther, a little too tightly around her wrist. “Come on we have to finish this.” he dragged her forward as he fallowed the wake of pokemon attacks to the computer. He used the railings to prevent slipping on the ice and luxury slipped but stayed standing due to a steady hand. Snapped out of her shock she realized he was right. They had a mission. And Nxy, it wasn’t that bad. She had to believe that.

Noishii was sent to fight but suddenly protect was in his way, and he smacked nose first. Shaking his head he didn’t wait for command but unleashed a flame thrower at the Gadevior.

Swiftwing was hit by the blizzard but had his wings still set in that dive. His aim was still on corse to the milotic.

Shade sent another dark pulse at his target the lucario, aiming at its feet to make it go further up.
