Ailill chuckled and smiled as he caught sight of his children and his friends comments on his daughter. "Well I thank you for that, Gavril." He turned his gaze to more thoroughly scan the crowd at the tower. His eyes paused on the larger males with antlers adorning their heads. "It seems we have some interesting party-goers here..."Nilima noticed her brother's slightly tensed face and smiled a bit more. "I only just arrived myself. Dad is over by the tree talking with Gavril. What have you been up to? Have you found work yet?"

Amadi was a bit surprised at how casually the larger mare passed off to meet the two new Lossen. She looked at her lover a bit in shock as she was giving a nick name. Never had Levant showered so much affection on her. She was finding herself more and more stunned. "Of course I...I will go out and watch you Levant. Just let me tie these last canes." she smiled and turned back towards the table and her wreath. She tied the last couple of candy canes on her wreath finishing it fully before she turned to see her mistress sliding past a bright red stallion.
Leaving the finished wreath on the table Amadi picked up the bowl of warm cocoa and hurried, a bit more slowly than Levant, towards the entrance of the tower. She blushed at the strong Lossen stallion impressed with their size and gave a bow of her head to them, "I am sorry for my mistress nearly knocking you over." she said to Vixen and smiled at Prance and Dasher, "A very merry Yule to you two." She said and slipped past Vixen to head out side just as her mistress was pulling free a sled. "Oh please be careful Levant! I do not think the servants will be happy if you return injured!" she called out but smiled at this energetic side of her mistress. She was so light and free it was more than amusing and filled the tan mare's heart.
As Levant started down the hill she seemed to be doing very well until suddenly it seemed that the sled wanted to be free and slip from her and she tumbled hard into the snow. Amadi gasped and just like a rescue wolf with brandy she hurried over to her fallen mistress with the bowl of warm liquid. "Are you alright Levant? That was a pretty good spill. I am sure that hill wont know what hits it when you try again. Here take a drink first."Gavril nods, "Of course my dear Ailill I would protect them as I would you. And treat them the same." He smirked as he again followed his friends gaze and looked at the large stallions with huge antlers. "Well I can not say I have seen them in my travels. Oh but the look like they could give a stallion a good ride." he said and nudged his friend playfully. "Maybe we should bring back an old clubbing game?" He winked.Braven smiled sheepishly, "Oh is Gavril here as well? That's good. Yes...I have started work. I am working with young foals who need an older friend. I concle them and help them when they are in trouble. What about you? I heard rumors that you have been spending time with Gavril." The stallion having grown up finally learned to say his uncle's name properly.

Weather Update! A few flurries of snow begin to fall, and the wind has all but died down so the sky looks like a great snow globe above and the winter feast is all the better.

// Vixen //
He opened the door wide as it would go to enter, ducking his head through the large wooden entry, almost hitting his antlers on the rocks comprising the main entryway. With a swift female brushing past him and a quick apology, Vixen smiled, not missing a beat.
"No need to apologize," he spoke to Levant, then stepped out fo the other mare's way as she followed outside like an obedient pup.
"You think she could knock me over?" vixen spoke to Amadi as she passed him," It takes more than one female to get me down," he grinned and replied with a nod of his heavy head.
Hooves clanking on the stone ground until it reached a runner rug, he went to the table where sheets of music lie ready for the taking.
"Which one to pick which one to pick... Dasher! Prancer! What parts do you want!?"
He had his hands full of sheet music, he would be bass-I if Dasher did not want the crooning bits... Vixen watched Prancer enter and the poor thing was so disheveled at partied he couldn't help but let his smile melt a bit. They had not been to one in so long...he wanted to enjoy himself, but he wanted just a little more for everyone else to do so as well...

Tiri-Ithil Speaks... ..................................... ......................... ............ Tiri-Ithil was able to get past the majority of guests with a simple "hello and merry yule", but she had a feeling several would require her direct attention.
Too bad Frauline Kervein could not join them... , she wondered if Octultus' boss would ever return to the tower. They did get along swimmingly...But the Ever-vigilant knight was stationed outside the tower, making rounds and ensuring everyone's safety.
"Do have the hot cocoa--it is potion-free, I promise, and if it turns any color other than the rich creamy one you see, do not drink it it has been spiked! " she announced, the bowl had been blessed by the Goddesses to hold only what it is meant to hold, and corruption of it would be visible should anything happen to it later. Only an Ista could change the bowl's properties for evil.
"Please --drink--" she filled a few mugs and handed them to guests, the tall Lossen were gaining attention through the tower, not that they were hard to miss and she was excited to hear one of them speaking of singing. In being a good hostess, she went to the now open door to shut it a bit to keep in the warmth of the fire, now blazing above her spittle to compensate for the heat.
"Enjoy everyone--" she spoke as she exited the tower, going outside to check on the mearh playing in the snow, she wanted to ensure everyone was having a pleasant time, and noted the two in the bank, fallen and a few others mulling about. She kept a lantern at every turn on the roads leading in, and the light flurries fell heavily onto the already trampled snow to the tower's door.

"YAHOO!" Dancer crowed out into the wind as it blew past his face and found fingering paths through his thick fur to n** at his cheeks and cause his snowy locks to billow out behind him like a Yuletide banner. Always the impetuous one, his mind wasn't on the possibility of a crash; he knew how to handle sleds and felt at home with them, even if he was riding one instead of helping to pull it. Granted, he could always hit a tree or some other fluke of steering, but he would consider himself no better than a rookie if he ever let THAT happened.
Reaching the bottom in one piece, he came to a stop in a snowdrift and sent up a flurry of snow to mix with the gently falling flakes. His antlers were the first to emerge from the snow like a rapidly growing tree, then he rose to his full height, brushing white powder off of his coarse fur and laughing. Looking back up the hill, he noticed that more seemed to be gathering at the sleds. Wonderful! He thought to himself. The more the merrier! Reaching for the rope pull on his sled, he gamely marched up the hill until he was at the top once more. "Here we GO!" He called out to nobody in particular as he gave himself another running start and flew down the hill toward the bottom.
So many people arriving so quickly! Carol found her gaze straying away from the music table more and more often as she watched the new arrivals with interest. She saw many she did not know, but the arrival of each new antlered Mearh was always worth a look. They seemed so tall and stately, and yet as she watched, they all seemed so different from each other. Had she expected a group with stone faces and the similar choreography of an army? The thought brought a small smile to her face. No, these were part of the embodiment of Christmas; their very presence helped enhance the overall feeling of good cheer and Christmas spirit as they walked about, drawing stares of admiration.
Her eyes widened as one of them made right for the music table, cheerfully sifting through the papers for just the right song. She watched him with hopeful eyes; if anyone could draw more interested singers in, it would be one of these noble sons of Yule. If anything, people would definitely scramble for the novelty of singing with one of them.

Kariel and Leirak had been given time off from their page work, and they were headed to the alchemist's tower for the big celebration. Leirak was running ahead of her, and though the snow had died down, she had decided not to fly, and instead was running through the snow behind the wolf. There were others at the tower, playing in the snow, singing, making wreaths and other activities, but Kariel had her heart set on sledding. She'd heard other pages talking about it at the castle, but she had never seen anyone do it before. She climbed the hill to the tower, seeing a number of sleds leaning against the buildings outer wall. Leirak was already there, waiting for her to catch up. She reached down and patted the big wolf on the head, then turned her attention to the sleds, trying to decide which one would be best. She looked at Leirak, then at the sleds, then back to her wolf. She wanted to find one that was big enough for both of them to sit on. After examining all of the sleds at least twice, she settled on one, pulling it down and setting it on the snow. There was a rope tied to the front of it, and she dragged it across the snow to the edge of the hill that sloped down from the tower. Sitting down on the sled, she convinced Leirak to sit down on it between her legs. With her arms around her wolf, holding tightly to the ropes with one hand, she used her other hand to push them across the snow. As soon as it was clear that they were not going to be stuck, she grabbed hold of the rope with both hands and held on for dear life.

As they reached the bottom of the hill, Kariel was shaking with excitement. Leirak on the other hand wasted no time in jumping off the sled. It had been scary, but she could not wait to get back up the hill and do it again. She could well understand why the other pages spoke so highly of the past-time. She was beginning to wish that she had her own sled, and lived in a land where it snowed all year round. Leirak was not as excited about the whole affair, and went in search of other entertainment in the trees surrounding the tower.

Giving her head a toss the heavily muscled equine beamed up at Amadi as she came into view. Winking roguishly Levant gave mare a dusting with her left hand as she stooped down and drank from the cup without taking it into her own grip, flicking her tongue along the brim of the canter the countess stood back up and hopped in place loudly crunching the snow underhoof. “Thank you! I am gonna go and have another go at it----” Levant trailed off, her voice quivering with foreign delight faded into a whisper as she stared out past her snout then turned her hues skyward. Newly falling snow caught her full attention and the rosy colored patch of fur on her cheeks darkened by a few shades. “isn’t it pretty Amadi? I am so glad that you came into my life.” She stated candidly, the words left her mouth before she had the chance to verify the content. A shallow cough escaped from the back of Levant’s throat upon hearing the saccharinity that she had uttered so frankly towards her paramour, lifting the sizeable toboggan with both hands the wintery-coated mare jerked forward placing a kiss at the forehead of her tanned counterpart before grinning and dashing off back up the way that she had just slid down. This time she would keep her balance, this time she wouldn’t make a fool out of herself in front of the only mearth that was important to her. Sucking down a deep breath Levant readied herself once she reached the top of the hill, galloping towards the down slope she once again threw the sleigh to the ground then leapt on top of it as it began its rapid decent.
The reins at the nose of the sled flew loosely around Levant's hooves as she rode the wooden contraption down, again the sleigh veered left however the mare leaned into the shift but as she did so the lead ropes tugged roughly at her ankle breaking her concentration and sending her sprawling snout first into the powdery fluff.

Vixen did not hear anyone audibly comply with his wishes, but there was...a rather adorable female looking ever-so-anxiously at him and the music and back again. With a grin and a hand full of music, he approached her, only a step or two, but it was obvious he was meaning to move her direction.
Hooved clanked havily as he stopped just in front of her.
"Hey angel---care to sing a song with me?" he crooned, wanting to sing silver bells or another four part--but with two...it seemed it would have to settle on a duet. His heart began to pound happily in his chest as he offered a hand to help her up beside him.
He was much taller with antlers and all, but his demeanor made him gentle and flirty rather than a serious question it was as though he was asking her to dance or go to bed! But that was always his ways, Vixen sounded like a song wherever he went, whoever he talked to.

Of course they would be heading inside Dasher said and he gave a nod of his head, "Y-Yeah..." He didn't mind too much heading inside, it would be fun for the three of them to hang out for a little bit. If only they could catch Dancer and get him to join them... but Prancer didn't want to ruin the fun that their fellow Lossen was having on the sled. He was sure that he would probably join them later, maybe after he tired himself out? Giving a little shake of his head, causing the mistletoe he wore there to shake, he trotted along after Vixen and Dasher. Giving pause the light brown Lossen gave a nod to the one that nearly tried to take out Vixen, before giving an apology to him and a smile to Dasher and himself before she continued on her way. He turned to watch her go before his attention was back on Vixen as he asked if they thought the female could have knocked him over, then commented on how it took more then one to get him down. Prancer's cheeks colored a little, guessing that was likely some sort of innuendo given it was Vixen that had said it.
"Ahh..." He wasn't sure how to respond, agreeing that it might take a few women to take Vixen down might only encourage the red Lossen after all so best that he just not reply at all to that one. He couldn't help but to wonder what it was that Dasher might be thinking about Vixen's questions, wondering if he would hazard an answer.
His attention was taken from Dasher and was once more on Vixen when he spoke once more and he couldn't help but stare, eyes wide, 'W-What?" Wait, what? Had he heard that right? Vixen was saying 'which one to pick' and then asking the two of them what parts they wanted?! His blush went from a light pink to full blown, bright crimson as the other Lossen asked something like that of them, "A-Ah... t-that seems a b-bit... umm... i-inappropriate a q-question, V-Vixen!" He squeaked out, ears laying back. He couldn't quite say that he wanted any 'parts' so to speak, not the sort that wanted to share such a thing with two other stallions, thank you. Of course a moment later, when Vixen went up to yet another female, inviting her to sing a song with him, he realized his mistake... Oops... he couldn't help but to question himself, wondering where his mind had wandered to. Perhaps he'd been spending far too much time around Vixen? It was starting to color his imagination just a bit.
"I-I think he m-meant song p-parts... oops..." He said quietly to Dasher, lifting a hand to hide his face for a moment as he tired to get his blushing under control. He just hoped that he hadn't insulted Vixen.

The first trip down the hill had been so smooth and perfect, but this time Dancer must have started off too fast or at the wrong angle, because this time his sled tilted to one side and deposited him onto the pressure-slicked snow. He waved his arms about and tried to bring himself to a stop as he watched his sled carry on down the hill without him. He frowned for a second, but it couldn't hold up against the grin that broke out on his face as the sled came to a gentle stop and sat there, as though inviting him to try again. Or mocking him. Either way, it would not go unanswered!
Dancer bounded the rest of the way down the hill, chuckling as pieces of snow that had hardened to ice with the sledding clung to his fur and almost made tiny clicking sounds as they hit each other and crumbled away. Reaching his sled, he gave the rope a good yank before making his way back up the hill. "I won't be bested by a sled; we'll SEE who tosses who next time!" He quickly had to move out of the way for a sled bearing a winged youngster, and he did a double-take at the wolf who was sharing the ride. Well! he thought, Don't see THAT every day! Reaching the top, Dancer waved at a sledder just making their way down before readying to leap onto his own and try once more for another smooth ride.
Carol's breath caught in her throat as one of the handsome reindeer Mearh spotted her and began to walk toward her. He didn't go very far, which saved her the impulse to back away. Handsome or no, she didn't know him from AranS'Asar, and although she overheard the hostess' reassurance that 'spiriting' the drinks provided would not go unnoticed, who's to say any party goers there had indulged beforehand? But when he spoke to her, his voice was not marred by the slurring of too much drink; rather it sounded softer and more musical; definitely a bit playful and flirtatious, but she didn't mind any of that.
"Sing with you?" The softness of her own voice did little to diminish the obvious note of hope it contained. She loved to sing, and now it looked as though she would be singing alone with the life of the party; one of them at least. "I would love to." Offering a small smile, she reached out and took the offered hand, rising up to stand beside him. "What shall we sing?"

Dasher smiled at Prancer and Vixen as he came up to the sheet music as well.
"I'll take whichever part you think would suit me best Vixen. Since I know you'll want the part that fits you best. Just make sure to leave something good for Prancer as well."
Dasher shook his head as Vixen went over to the female. And as he heard Prancer comment about misunderstanding their Lossen partner, he laughed out loud. A great booming laugh that seemed to fill the hall.
"Oh Prancer... You are too much..."
Dasher smiled at his companion and started pushing him back over with Vixen too.
"Come. We can sing with him and the pretty mare he's found. And I promise that he won't share."
He winked at Prancer.
"After all, Vixen isn't quite the sharing type..."
With that, he continued to push Prancer back toward Vixen and the make, hoping that the singing would put Prancer much more at ease.

 ☸ Vixen ☸
He let his tail swish palyfully, listening tot he soft voice of the mearh beside him, he grabbed her up to bring her to the table, offering his arm for assistance as his ears perked at the sound of Prancer's light hooves and Dasher's voice above the crowd. The laughter made his skin warmer somehow--like the connection between them was brighter as the eve wore on.
"Join us little lady---and you will not be disappointed by our performance!" he echoed in the tower, also above the crowd as he gestured them to join him at the bottom of Tiri's stairs. He waited until the lot was gathered to hand out a stack of sheets for each.
"Seems we will still have a quartet indeed! You know I perform well in groups Dasher!" he laughed as well, eyeing the mare who would feature as their only female voice as of yet. He cleared his throat.
"How about we start with carol of the bells? Its a favorite of mine--" his eyes went to his friends and back to the mare who he hoped had joined them without incident. She would do well to join them!

Dasher's reassurances that Vixen wasn't the 'sharing type' had him calming down a bit and he was able to finally get his blushing under control as well as his worries about Vixen. He was probably right, he couldn't quite see him inviting them to something like that but instead it seemed that he was just inviting them to sing a song with him... wait, what? He turned to look over at Dasher, opening his mouth to try to voice some sort of protest but never had a chance. So... it would seem as though they were singing and in front of a bunch of others at that... Maybe it wasn't too late to join Dancer in sledding? Even as he thought bout that he knew that it was far too late as Dasher effectively herded him forward to where Vixen and his new mare were standing. A part of him, the majority part at that, wanted to run as fast as his hooves would carry him to anywhere but here where others would be watching them.
Now that he'd been caught up in this group he wasn't going to get away though, was he? Not without doing at least one song for those watching and listening, and he wasn't the sort to bail out on his fellow Lossen even if he were a touch embarrassed by it all. Alright then, one song, he would be do his best to get through it he told himself, silently cheering himself on. If nothing else at least when singing his stutter seemed to ease a bit, he always did far better with singing then normal speaking, that was a bonus. Taking the sheet music from Vixen, and finally understanding more clearly what he meant about 'what parts' he and Dasher wanted, he looked the paper over to get a good feel for the chosen song, "C-Carol of the b-bells, alright." He said, looking between Dasher, Vixen, and the mare that Vixen had so easily picked up, "S-Sounds like a good c-choice, Vixen." He said before looking to Dasher, used to him taking charge so he figured that he might do so in this instance as well.
While it was a subtle thing it seemed as though his nerves were passing somewhat, while a little anxious still about singing in front of others at least he wouldn't be alone in doing it. Not to mention that being around his fellow Loseen always helped no matter what sort of challenge they were facing, be it something like this or various tasks assigned to them by the Son of Yule. He drew in a deep breath, letting it slowly, and waited for the singing to begin.
