I'd rather be the one performing.
Just when her tangibility became more solid, Bea rushed to the door as fast she could, holding onto the door knob with both hands and flung the door open. The vision was over. She woke up, eyes wide on Willow and Cady as the Fu dogs made their appearance known. A couple of other mysterious figures seem to be in the room with them as well...
The two figures in the room had a strange presence. When one of them said they may have offended that creature, it stopped the nightmares at least and Bea felt grateful for that. She didn't say anything to them, but she gave them a warm smile.
Bea returned a firm hug to Bul with tears in her eyes. "I--- You--- I'm so happy you guys are safe!" she cried out. Seeing Demi distraught was not as happy. Bea followed Bul to try and comfort the poor dog boil, hugging him from behind, sandwiching him between herself, Willow and Bul.
"Yes, I'm ready to go..." Bea knew she wasn't going to stand around helpless and let her nightmare happen. She was going to prove herself not useless and follow her team where they might need her.

Bul tried not to act too surprised when Demi clung to his shirt and looked to the ghouls sadly before wrapping his arms around him in a hug. He didn't care if the other looked at it funny, he just wanted to let them all know that he wanted to help them with their pain. As corny as it was...
Four students made a great hug sandwich.
What could make it better?
A fifth.
"Let's get Cady~" Bul chimed. Together they would make the sappiest team of them all.

It was now a question of what was real. the vision or the current set of hugs and comforting words that was being said. It wasn't surprising when Damien clung onto Willow for dear life and tried to wrap his own fluffy tail on Bea. Any cares that it would make him look weak like in the vision were pushed aside.
It wasn't bad to depend on others, if it helps to keep you strong. The hound chocked up a sniffle and gave a small tug to the boil and tiger ghoul. "Yes, let's make sure she's ok." he said behind the faintest of smiles.

Cady's eyes were squeezed shut. She must have fallen asleep at some point - or blacked out. Either way, she'd woken to the sound of voices. One was a stranger, but the rest were eerily familiar.
How could it be...?
She couldn't look. She wouldn't look. This must be a dream- a nightmare. But the pain was gone. That in and of itself made her question what was real. Cady stared at the inside of her eyelids, afraid to find out. She scrubbed at her face with the back of her hand and sniffled quietly to herself. It was a few moments before she could summon the courage to open one eye.
Bul...Demi...Bea...even Willow! They were here. But how?
She climbed shakily into a sitting position. She wouldn't meet their eyes. "I...I'm..SO SORRY!" That last bit ended in a hiccuped sob. She took a few deep breaths then, wrapping her arms around her knees and her wings around her face.
"I didn't mean to. I didn't mean it."
She barely noticed the strangers, or the statutes, which were stranger still. As they issued their question, she raised her head to respond.
"I don't...I don't want to watch. No more...dreams. I'd rather be the one performing."

Willow paused smiling, "Of course we're safe. We're team Venture!" Her tail flickered as she gave a murr at Bea. She paused when Damien clung onto her for dear life, "Would you feel better riding on my back for a little bit?" She asked curiously, she could manage until he felt better.
She nodded, "Yes lets get Cady~" She waited for Demi before moving over to the manticore. Her tail flickered softly as her ears perked up at Cady, looking around at the others there.
Her ears twitched when she heard Cady, "What are you sorry for?" She looked puzzled, "And what didn't you mean?" She looked even more confused.

BUL IS GIVING 1 PUMPKIN PILL TO DEMI/WILLOW AND KEEPING 2 WITH HIM
"Why are you sorry Cady?" Bul pried gently after their group hug. "You should never have to tell us sorry, you've been fantastic this whole trip. And what lies ahead, I'm sure you will do us proud."
"All of you will. I know that.. we may not be together forever but keep this-"
Bul gave each of his teammates his EMBLEM and (accidentally? :O) slipped one of them a pumpkin pill.
"See you guys on the other side then, eh? TEAM VENTURE-
LET'S ROCK."

Cady looked up at Willow, fear battling sorrow across her face.
"I-"
But before she could reply, Bul enveloped her in their snuggle pile. Normally, the rather awkward ghoul wouldn't know what to do with herself. She resisted the surprising and alien urge to bury her face into someone's shirt and cry. They were real, and everything was going to be all right. Well, for the next few minutes anyway. Given the circumstances, she could stand a little hugging.
She took the boil's emblem solemnly, tucking it away. She wasn't sure how to follow such a gracious act- but it was the kind of boost she needed. He trusted her. They all did.
"And troll!" She quipped, voice still a bit shaky. Cady had to chin up, whatever came next. She would not let them down.

Invictus watched the group as they assembled and then moved on, seeming indifferent to the entire exchange before he looked to his own companion, offering Eris his hand.
"Shall we get moving on ourselves, then?" the horseman said, waiting until the students had made their decisions to move on before he moved to open the portal that he and Eris had moved in through, stepping through to return to the hub from which they had come.

With final hugs and farewells, knowing that anything could wait beyond that door (Perhaps even Halloween town!), Bul crossed his fingers and stepped forwards.
It was time.

"We're safe, for the most part, no need to wail." Damien replied back to the upset monster. He never thought he'd see the sadicore so sad in his life. "I did all the sobbing for the group already" he insisted behind still tearful eyes, mostly because everyone was indeed safe and unrestrained. It was clear that Cady needed a hug and he took the time to separate from the comforting willow and put his arms around the winged bundle of woe.
"Its OK willow, I'll be fine now. I can be a big boil again." he insisted to the tiger ghoul as he went back to soothing Cady's apologies. "No need to be sorry, nothing happened to us, alright?" he reminded her again, sure to drive the thought home. His own worries was slowly fading away as Bul decided to solidity their unity with his emblem, fitting for the unofficial team leader to do. "See you on the other side Bul, make sure you stay alive and in good health this time." the hound told him with a thumbs up as the half beast went out of sight.
He never did get the chance to thank the duo that saved him from even another minute of that hell. when he himself found a passageway calling out to him. "Bye guys, I hope to see you on the other safe, and even more so back at home." with a tearful wave and a howl that faded away, the hound vanished through the other doorway.

Cady returned the hug, and even managed a wet chuckle at his comments about the crying. She waved to her teammates as they found their way through the passages- and followed Bul into what might be oblivion.
"I will see you all, on the ah, FLIP SIDE!"

"Don't be sorry!" patting Cady on the back. "We're all safe and together."
Bea wiped her tears and gave everyone a warm smile. "You guys are strong. We all made it this far together!" giving them all one last hug good bye. "Thank you, everyone..."
When she received Bul's emblem, she nearly cried again. The gesture touched her heart and made her feel so loved to have such good friends. They all started out as acquaintances and strangers, but to get this close in such a short amount of time was magical.
Bea gave one last look at Demi and Willow before following Bul and Cady through the door.

Willow nodded, as they all began to depart. Taking the badge after shifting back she slipped it into her pocket nodding. She was the last to of the group to leave. "Good luck all."
Her tail flickered softly as she took a breath and walked through the door.
