Rin glanced over to Eduardo. "Neat? I suppose." He scratched the back of his head before he caught notice of Azriel's hands groping her chest. "Ohhh my." He said, his feline ears twitching a bit. "I guess having a science mind also includes the curiosity of the female body." He laughs. Both Sirea's heterochromic eyes and Colette's blue eyes widen from watching what just happened. Pervert. She thought to herself. When Azriel made thanked everyone for taking Eloysio kindly, she gave a nod. "Well, I do admit that it is rather...awkward...that a dead guy is inside of you." ^.^; She said. She nodded again in agreement that they should get moving. "Yeah. We won't get anything done by standing around."
"Y-Yeah, let's get going!" He covered his mouth, laughing.

Eduardo bobbed his fist at Rin in a sort of casual acknowledgement (indeed, it looked like a thumbs-up san thumbs). "Yeah, pretty gadzooks-worthy!" He looked around, completely missing the groping. He mused aloud. "...I don't get it, Rin. None of the girls' bodies look curious to me. They don't look interested in anything. Why is the human body so apathetic, anyway? I've always wondered about that. It isn't even capable of accepting the awkwardness of the situation, except for maybe the brain." With that, he just seconded the nod of agreement, idly stepping side to side a bit as he did so. If standing wouldn't get anything done, perhaps that would. "Anyway, great! Move-ons are good!"
Rhone chuckles and crosses his arms. "Alright, alright, let's not be too hard on the guy. Can any of you honestly say that if you weren't suddenly a different gender you'd at least be sort of curious and do the exact same thing?"
Max closes her eyes and pinches her brow. "You would know..." "I'm sorry, what?" "You don't remember when you decided to test the limits of your transformation abilities and royally messed up?" "Not really, no." "You turned female, didn't realize it, and decided to take your coat off to make sure you didn't somehow injure yourself." "I don't see the problem here." "There wouldn't have been one....if you ever wore a shirt." "I still don't see the prob-oh, I see what you're gettin' at....explains why I wasn't allowed at Sybak university for a while...I was testing myself so the scientists could study my exsphere...." "The women were repulsed and the men were highly confused." "Yeaaaaah....so....anyway....uh...Mizuho?" "Mizuho"
Hunter finally gets up and dusts himself off. "Alright! Time to visit some highly-visible ninjas!"

Sol watched what happened to poor Azriel, "Well ain't he the lucky dead bugger. I like him already!"
Ilene glared at the male wingfolk, "You better not try that as well Birdboy, or you are gonna be find yourself with a few more holes in your body."
"Err I didn't mean it like. I wish I.." Sol froze unsure how to get himself out of this little banter without getting killed. Finding no alternative he pulled out a map to get back on track, "A-a-anyway let's get to this ninja village before I make anymore enemies among the female minority here... I'll take point if it's okay with you." Sol flapped his wings and hovered in the air looking over his map waiting for the others.
((Huh, now that spoiler tags work in guilds, I could hide long-winded stuff that's not all that relevant to the group. razz))
In the mindspace, Eloysio was standing in an extremely stiff posture with his arms folded, before Chiaro and Oscuro. The former stared at the floor all red in the face, while the latter was lightly snickering.
"Oh come now, Oscuro, you heard Rhone," he muttered, "Need I remind you that you used to derive your form from mine? How does it feel now, basing your appearance off Azriel?"
A flashback started to play off to the side and behind Oscuro. It was from around the early days of becoming bound to the female Wingfolk three years ago...
~*~*~
Oscuro repeatedly groped at her own chest with a mild look of fascination. "...Come to think of it, you're pretty much the first woman we've ever manifested in, Azriel. It sure feels kinda funny now, having boobs instead of a p***s."
Chiaro's palm hit her own face in a loud slap, and she groaned at her dark counterpart's statement. "Did you really have to say it like that, Oscuro."
She, in turn, returned a flat stare. "What? There ain't no sugarcoatin' it. It is what it is."
~*~*~
Becoming more relaxed in posture, Eloysio raised an eyebrow at Oscuro, failing to suppress a smirk. Now it was her turn to go red in the face from embarrassment and stare at the floor. She also lightly punched Chiaro in the shoulder simply out of spite, to which Chiaro simply scoffed and rolled her eyes at.
Azriel seemed to stare off into space making a wide-eyed stunned expression, her right eye twitching a bit. It looked as if she was doing that at what she overheard from Max and Rhone, but it was really at what she was hearing and seeing from her mindspace. It was also the exact same expression she made those three years ago.
She shook her head, realizing that everyone was starting to walk away from her. "Ehehehe...sorry!" Stepping briskly, she caught up with the rest of them. She could have flown like Sol was doing, but refrained from it for the others' convenience. It wasn't going to be that long of a walk anyway.
In about fifteen minutes, the group reached the edge of the Gaoracchia. "Here we are, folks," Lloyd announced, "Mizuho is just past this forest...if we make the right turns, that is. There are huge vines that tend to shift and block paths. Kind of a bother unless...huh, do I still have it...?" He fished around in his pockets until he found a ring and smiled a bit as he slipped it onto one of his fingers. "Yep, I still do! The Sorcerer's Ring can emit light that'll safely burn them away."
The swordsman began to lead the way in. "Keep your guard up for the monsters that tend to ambush from the shadows."
A few minutes into the walk, Lloyd caught sight of a pile of ashes with a single log set before it in a clear spot. "Huh, looks like there was a campfire. I wonder if someone's lost in here..."
A little further down the path, where he thought he'd start needing to use the Sorcerer's Ring, he started to notice something was off. Some of the plant life, even the vines that were supposed to be burned away with light, were very much dead. They were so dry and brittle that they'd crumble just from a slight touch or by brushing past. It was strange, seeing the rest of the vegetation in the forest still looking so lush. It also began to look like these dead plants were forming a trail... "Weird. What could be doing this?"

Sirea took a moment to examine the darkened forest as Lloyd mentioned about the huge vines that tend to block paths. "Not exactly my kind of place to go for a walk at." She said then her heterochromic eyes gaze upon the ring Lloyd had pulled out from his pocket. "That's an interesting ring you go there." She said as she followed Lloyd, seeming to be staring at the Sorceror's Ring.
Putting his hands behind his head, Rin followed Lloyd into the darkened forest. His feline ears twitch a bit as the swordsman mentioned about monsters that tend to attack from the shadows. "Sounds like this place makes a good hiding spot for bandits....perhaps for even werefolk." He grinned a bit.
When Lloyd mentioned about a campfire, she glanced over to see the pile of ashes as well as the single log. "Given with what you said earlier, it does look a kind of place to get lost in."
"Kinda creepy if you ask me. Though....I'd admit that this place is perfect for telling ghost stories." Colette frowned a bit as she also noticed that some of the plant life were dead. "I'm not sure what it could be." Her guess was about as good as Lloyd's as to what could be responsible. "I think someone must've really had baaaad breath." He said as he looked at the dead plants. "I'd die too if someone's breath reeked that badly."
With an interested glance at the Sorcerer's Ring, Eduardo turned his attention to the former campfire. He knelt beside it to take a closer look. "It looks burnt!" he proclaimed proudly.* Rin's comment about bad breath seemed to induce a burp in Eduardo, causing a small twig (presumably fallen from the trees above, or maybe some wood-carrying birds!) to catch on fire. Even he knew that it would be wise to conceal the group's location in this forest, so he quickly dumped dirt on it. "It must be some plant-life-eating, wood-carrying birds or something." It seemed an obvious answer to him.
*Eduardo obtained the title of "Master of the Obvious"! "Is he really that far gone, or is he just confirming what everyone else said?"

Sol stopped floating and walked with the group when they made it to the forest, the abundance of trees and foliage made it difficult to see where one was going if he wanted fly. As they came to the campsite Sol wondered if it belonged to Camulos, but quick look around told him otherwise.
Farther down the path after seeing the dead plants laying along the trail, he muttered to himself, "That can't be a good sign." he went up closer to inspect the plants, he may not be a scientist, but he knew something was amiss.
Ilene walked to the opposite side of the path to inspect the plants as well, "I haven't a clue of what could cause this."
Sol sweat-dropped at Eduardo's answer. Than again considering he was leaning towards some sort of new Midgard weapon, he couldn't really fault the were-dragon. 'Jeez, am I really that paranoid, to actually think that Midgard had developed something like that?' he shook his head at his own stupidity, he then turned to the group, "I don't like the looks of this place though. The sooner we get out of here the better."
Ilene looked at the wingfolk before nodding, "Hate saying this, but I agree with Sol. If it this was something that can do this to the plants, I don't want to find out what that something is... not now at least."
Sol noticed that Ilene finally called him by name and not an insult, but decided not start something over it.
As Rhone, Max, and Hunter travel with the group and notice the odd campsite and the dead plants, Max notices something interesting.
"Wait...why would whatever this thing is just have its trail start from the smoldering campsite and then just go off into the forest? It's almost like it's leading us into something..."
Suddenly, Rhone's eyes go wide as he addresses the group.
"Damn! Max is right! Everyone, I think this is a divers-"
Rhone is cut short by what appears to be a blue spike with the circumference of a gold coin coming from the brush around the group, suddenly impaling Rhone through the chest. Within a moment, the spike retracts and Rhone collapses onto the ground face-first. A figure then walks out of the brush, looking eerily like Rhone, down to what he was wearing with a few differences. His eyes were red and hair blue, his clothing was white with blue gloves and shoes, he wore no hat, leaving his horns exposed, and finally, a long white tail could be seen coming from his back. His coat had its sleeves torn off above the elbow and his pants had tears around the knees. Finally, his mouth seemed to be fixed in a wide, jagged grin stretching to both sides of his face, giving it a shark-like appearance. The figure speaks with what sounds like two voices, each an octave lower and higher than Rhone's normal speech.
"So foolish...I expected more of you, brother..."

"'Brother'...?" Eloysio mused as he watched and listened from Azriel's headspace.
Azriel's eyes went wide when she watched Rhone collapse. Nevermind that this apparent foe looked like a twisted version of him; Rhone himself seemed seriously hurt and that's what she became more concerned about. She ran up to him, dropping to her knees, grasping his shoulders, and nudging him. "Rhone! Are you alright?!" She mentally facepalmed at what she just said. "...D'oh! Stupid question! I mean, could you use a heal?! ...Gah! Obviously!" Still kneeling, she started to prepare the best healing spell she had, which was Healing Stream.
Stepping quickly to stand before and shield the fallen Rhone, Lloyd instinctively drew his swords and turned an angry glare on the new foe. "Hey! Who the hell are you?! I won't stand for anyone hurting my allies!"
Both Rin and Sirea sweatdropped at Eduardo's answer. "Thank you, Captain Obvious." She said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
Rin couldn't help but chuckle a bit after watching the dragon werefolk burped. "Well, least I could say that it wasn't you that did this to the plants."
She glanced over to Ilene and Sol as they suggested that they should get out of the forest as soon as possible. "Don't jinx us, Ilene. It just may happen." She had the thought of knocking on a tree. That is until her fox ears perked up as Rhone called out to the group. She and Colette glanced over to Rhone before their eyes widen when he collapsed. "Rhone!"
"It's a trap!" Rin's eyes had also widen when he saw what just happened to Rhone. His and Sirea's ears perked up as they heard a figure come out from the brush. He quickly drew out his daggers. "Hey! What's the big idea!?" He exclaimed then took another moment to look at the male, finally noticing that the guy looked so much like Rhone. "....I didn't know Rhone had an evil twin."
"Brother?" Both Sirea and Colette said in unison. Colette had drawn out her chakrams as Lloyd questioned the man as to who he was. "And what do you have against Rhone?" She asked. Sirea glared at the man as she had her hand on the hilt of her katana. "Explain yourself!" She pins her ears back in anger, then looked over to Azriel as she preparing a healing spell for Rhone. "Azriel, I could help with the healing if needed."

Eduardo nodded at Rin's response and responded to Sirea's sarcasm by sincerely saying "You're welcome, Sirea." Poking at the ashes with another twig, Rhone's plight caught him by surprise. In his surprise, he hurled the twig at the Rhone lookalike. Due to his sudden movement and strength, it almost literally missed by a mile. While he thought that the Rhone lookalike looked cool (he had a tail and horns, after all- Much like himself in a certain form), he did not approve of the doppelgänger's attack on Rhone. He moved over to join Lloyd by the twin. "I also won't stand for... Um... Yeah, what he said, and what she said and stuff. Anyway, brothers can fight, but not that lethal-like!" He made a cheesy martial arts pose with his hands raised.
"That sick b*****d.....is not...my kin..." Rhone manages to raise himself to a kneeling position before coughing up blood and almost collapsing again. "Damn it...what did you do to me?...Why aren't my wounds closing?..."
The figure insanely laughs for a few seconds "I drained the area of mana before draining you as well. Try healing yourself without the world's energy!"
Hunter merges with his armor and draws his blade as Max prepares her cutlass and revolver. "So you DID kill all those plants!" "Who the hell IS this guy?" "I'll explain later. We need to get rid of him!" "HAHAHAAA! LIKE YOU HAVE A FRIGGIN' CHANCE!"
"I'LL DRAIN EVERYTHING UNTIL THERE'S NOTHING LEFT! THEN...I'LL SHOW EVERYONE WHO'S THE ORIGINAL!!!" The figure raises both arms as they stretch up and change form into what looks like a massive blade. He then swings it down towards Rhone and those trying to heal him.

Still standing in front of Rhone and Azriel, Lloyd blocked the foe's strange blade by crossing his own before him. "No...you..." He struggled a bit, pushing back in the attempt to deflect the blow. The Exsphere on his hand started to make a soft glow, then at "...DON'T!!!" he was successful. Upon knocking the blade away, he quickly lunged, trying to close in with "Hurricane Thrust!" If the stab connected, it would also result in a burst of wind that could possibly knock the enemy back further.
"Come forth, O rejuvenating waters of life! Healing Stream!" Azriel cried after charging up the spell. An arcane circle that glowed blue expanded from beneath her and Rhone, and within it swirled energies that felt like running water. After having successfully cast the spell, she looked up at Sirea and replied, "You can...but I'd say use your energy sparingly. I can feel it in the air...as long as that guy's in our face, mana stays away and we can't replenish what we use up." Having blood that originated from Half-Elves running through her veins, she had an extra sense attuned to the mana levels in the environment. What she was implying with her statement was that, if they used a lot of their energy all at once through spells and techniques, they may very well end up with nothing powerful enough to defend themselves with.
As Lloyd attempted to attack the figure with a Hurricane Thrust, Rin dashed at the the figure with an attempt to strike at him. "Pilfer!" Not only he would attempt to strike at the man, but he would also attempt to steal whatever he could get his hands on.
Colette had a look of concern from seeing Rhone cough up blood, though she focused on the fight. "Hammer Rain!" A star-like object is thrown into the air, though it would explode into several hammers that would fall down at the man.
Sirea gave a nod to Azriel after hearing her response. "Guess we'll just make our move carefully, and get this guy out our face then." She said then gazed at Rhone for a moment. "Hang in there, Rhone." From noticing him cough up blood earlier, she tried not to show that it had made her feel uncomfortable. Focus! Focus! She thought to herself.
