Things were getting kind of heated. Maybe it was the adrenaline of competition, or maybe it was something else. All that Freya knew was that she wasn't going to stop just because she was winning. She was going to work those poles like-
Like they were things you could fall off of. Which she did. Royally.

Hel was feeling pretty good about herself now that she managed to snag a tag!
Eyes on the prize, she needed to stay focused! The reaper chuckled as she leapt into the air again and tried to go after the ninja. Instead, she ended up sailing right over him, and landed on another pillar a ways away. Damn.

Herryk wasn't sure what happened. Maybe the dim light of the sun was in his eyes (a likely excuse), maybe he just remembered that he left the stove on (haha, right), maybe he was thinking about how much he wanted that next tag, or maybe he was thinking about how much he didn't want Freya to win.
Didn't matter. The way he utterly and completely biffed was pretty amazing to watch.

Alright then! The valkyrie took to the air again, coming up on the ninja fast! The ghoul managed to come right up close and personal to him, and then took off, landing on a pole a bit away. Wait…wait…

Herryk bellowed loudly and rose to his feet, gaining momentum as he drew closer to those tags. Living the dream.

Getting back onto the pole, Astra noticed that the ninja hadn't moved this time. This was her chance!
She darted forwards, almost tripping at one stage but didn't fall, getting close enough to the ninja that she jumped towards him, snatching one of the tags that he held and landing on the ground with a roll, clutching the item as if it was the most important thing in the world.
She finally got a tag!

Oh ho, Astra wasn't done yet. She was getting the hang of this, so she jumped on the pillars again, off again as fast as she could manage. Dodging a...another hotdog?, she caught up to the ninja and jumped at him again, snatching his last tag.
"I got another one!" She said, jumping up and down in excitement.

The last tag had gone to Astra's quick hands. The ninja jumped lightly down from the poles. "Very good, all of you. As I see that Astra and Freya both have two tags, there will be one final test for the two of you." He turned and pointed up at the tallest, thinnest pole. A black scarf had been tied around it. "Please retrieve the scarf for me."

Freya had beaten Herryk. Freya had beaten Hel. Freya had been the victor over all the most warrior driven Nordic students in this competition.
