Teo ran up to the pitcher's mound 'ok, fast ball...' he thought, throwing a fastball past the batter and right into the catcher's mit "perfect" he said quietly with a smirk.

Rika spotted the same girls from art watching practice, she sighed in frustration. She hummed quietly watching leaves and flowers sway, her eyes glancing at Teo once and a while.

Teo wound up and threw a curveball, strong enough to make the catcher shake his hand "ease up a bit Teo! It's just practice" the catcher called out
"right, my bad!" he called back with a small smirk

Rika snickered as she hummed a bit more her eyes stared at Teo, tilting her head

Teo glanced at Rika from the mound "time to strike him out..." he murmured before tossing another fastball. The batter managed to hit the ball straight down the middle. Teo quickly jumped and cought the ball as it flew over him, landing on his heels from the force behind it "next!" he called out with a small smirk

Rika watched in astonishment "Oh" she smiled as she clapped at his accomplishment

Teo looked over at Rika with a confused expression, he tried to ignore the very light blush creeping across his face.
The next batter stepped up to home plate and managed to get a single base hit "good hit!" he called out with a smile as he tossed the ball to the back-up pitcher and went back to Rika

"Then you try really hard" Rika said, smiling, she stood brushing her legs off. She tilted her head "What's next?" she asked, as she brushed her purple hair behind her ear

Rika stared at the ground "Tends to happen when I am alone outside" she said turning a slight pink in embarrassment

"well you're not exactly alone" Teo said quietly "it's a little different seeing you happy, normally you're ticked at me or someone else" he muttered mostly to himself.

Rika shook her head "I like being outside, being cooped up doesn't help my mood lift so I'm usually.. ticked off. Plus, my life hasn't been that great at all, it's gotten to a turn for the worst" she murmured
