Molly blink. Wow someone was even snappier then she was.... This was weird. She open her come to say a witty comeback but close as if she knew to stop right there. In fact she knew if she said anything then her chance of going home where slim to none, so better not say anything nope. Don't say a word.
She looked around as a shiver went down her back. There it was again. That sound but louder and more creepier. Oh how she just wanted it to stop.

"Well," said Fritz, putting his hands on his hips and surveying the cat. "It's official.
"I think we're all going crazy."
This was said in such a ridiculously matter-of-fact voice that it might have sounded as if he were being serious, but one look at Fritz's slightly over dramatic expression would indicate he definitely felt otherwise. He cast a sideways glance at Joshua, his brows lifting just the smallest amount; the only sign that he had caught the sharp edge to Josh's voice. But Fritz only said lightly "Seems like something my little brother would think of too. Maybe they're in cahoots."
Except calling Tolliver "little" would have probably earned him a smack upside the head from his twin (well, he was - by only three and a quarter minutes, perhaps, but still).
"Damn," Fritz said, returning Josh's grin with a rueful one of his own. "And here I thought I had everything worked out nicely too."
That sound...it was unnerving. His hand was resting against his own chest, but absently, as if Fritz had not noticed he was even moving, but now he glanced down, a frown on his face as he picked at the collar of his shirt in what might have seemed like a nervous habit. Without a pen or pencil in his hand, it was almost as if he did not know what to do with them.
"It's...well, I don't like it," he admitted, pressing his fingers against his temple, as if attempting to push the unnatural music from his head. He nodded towards Virgo. "And I think you're right; she seems to know what she's doing."

Amy wanted to try and hold Regina back, but she was still trying to recover from the effect those sounds have given her. Still shaky, she was trying to process what Regina and Jocelin were saying when she realized that Regina really didn't want to go to the cat. Talking cat was almost easy to take in when that sound had nearly made her collapse.
"Regina..." she said quietly. "Don't do something stupid or Jocelin might lose it." She didn't know how she felt on the matter, but she did like the mildly effect of safety being between the two girls. "And I might be on her side more than yours. Whatever is making that sound is...terrifying." The sudden idea of adventure had died when that true-alien's call had returned.

Raven jumped just slightly as Jett ran his thumb over her hand. She glanced up at him, a redness spreading over her cheeks. "Oh...I...I..."
Forget it.
When the strange music started playing, the blonde felt a shiver go down her spine and drew closer to Jett, dragging Darwin with her slightly. "What the hell is that sound? It...It's completely...awful..."
As the music began to fade, her attention was taken up by the newest 'strange' addition. It was a fluffy purple...cat. As she stared at the cat which seemed to have attracted the attention of quite a few other people..it talked? Well. There were no end to the strange things that had been happening.
The blonde just let out a sigh, waiting to hear if any other important information was delivered.

"I see, I see...well, that sucks for you I'm sure." He was trying to sound sympathetic to Aya, the girl who for a moment had his complete attention, but alas he was coming up a little short. Soon enough, all the ones nearby who decided to gush aloud about a talking cat received a blatant stare in turn. Normally, Zue might have been a smidgen worried about being caught talking by so many people...but normally, these people weren't in his home in outer space, so...he could forgive himself in the end.
"Clearly, some cats do." His irritated stare was turned to the non-believer next, but he took some advice from some crazy unicorns and shunned her after that..lucky her? "...And here I thought this place couldn't get any worse." He muttered to himself with a sigh, lowering into a crouch. His form begam to glow and twist, growing and taking an entirely different shape; when the glow faded, Zue was crouched in all his half-human glory.
"Better?" He asked the gawkers, his head tilting and his lips parting in a rather sneering smile. Unless you were Chronos, Zue's smiles never lasted long and he was right back to being a grumpy man-cat.

"Maybe we're all a bunch of nutters." Okay, this one wasn't so bad at all. But the creepy s**t was more of a priority. "Do you think they hear it too ?" It was hard to say if he was talking about the others civilians, or the surrounding's more usually seen inhabitants. "I don't like it either. It's creepy, and... it hurts." "Virgo ?" He called out. "It's happening again. The noise... It... ngh," ((Im going to bed in about half an hour, so feel free to say Josh is keeping close to Fritz ? <3 I might pop out earlier, it's storming pretty bad.))

"Awww, kitty~" Gemini Beta crooned at Zue as the purple cat approached, all dressed up in his gold regalia. To be perfectly honest, Mack liked it when he was in that outfit, although she wasn't quite sure if he liked it or not. It set him apart from the other cats she'd seen (and been nagged by,) placing him distinctly as theirs. The twin gold stars on his forehead, of course, would do that too, mirrored in each of their broaches, but when standing next to them, she couldn't help but grin how well he fit in with them. Or maybe she just liked the puffy pants, it was hard to tell. "We love you too, Zue, saving the Surrounding wouldn't happen without you saving our butts." To the question of 'why the hell are all these Civis here, however, Mackie just shrugged, one which she echoed to Ricky, whom she also gave just as a bewildered look as some of the others were wearing. "I dunno... I'm not sure we even know how you got here... I don,'t anyway." Taking the beer, she took a chug for good measure. Because clearly things were about to go downhill. They always did.

It was time once again, for her daily check on the Surrounding. It was never forgotten, fueled by worry that something more disastrous would happen if they left it abandoned for even a single day. While the Zodiacs had organized shifts, taking turns to be transported there and make sure nothing else went awry, Princess Chronos still worried. She always worried. How could she not? Even after an exhausting day of training the Opal Crystal with Castor upon his homeworld, she still could summon up enough energy to reappear in the place she had sworn her duty to, to where they once held the line. The ache would never disappear until she had found out how to fix this and restore the Surrounding to its former glory, to do what she was meant to do, as the Princess of the Zodiacs, the Lady of the Seasons. She got the message from Neso just as she was preparing herself to make the trip there, and appeared in the holding room, holding her breath. Something did seem different. The times they had been here, it had always been quiet and desolate, the silence reminding them that they had failed to protect those who once resided here along with them. Instead, there seemed to be a buzz of chatter emanating from outside, and Chronos met it with a look of horror and shock frozen upon her face. Did Chaos manage to send an army here already? But it didn't even remotely feel like Chaos, though it didn't stop her from feeling unnaturally unsettled. She gripped her own arm, wings twitching impatiently. "Why is this happening?" With this whisper, the Princess went, exiting via the gaping hole in the Castle's barrier, eyes going wide with confusion as she spotted the gaggle of confused civilians chattering outside.
"What are you all doing here?" It was not a voice of a frightened mouse that said this, despite her misgivings; it was the authoritative voice of a Princess who demanded to know answers, to know what they were doing trespassing here in a place no one except her Court should be allowed in. Cerise eyes drifted to the members of her Court present and Chronos had a twitch of a smile at the corner of her lips, especially at seeing Gemini and Snuzzles. "Zue. Virgo. What have you learned so far?"

She ignored Gemini Beta's question. It was just better that way. Gemini Alpha could handle her. And also the antics of Ricky and Felix gathered only a passing glance, because she had just noticed a dark spot in the stars. And a haunting song…
Oh, this was not a good thing.
"Snuzzles is harmless," she said to Jocelin. "He probably can't impregnate anyone." Had the Surrounding flared at the strange song? Not good at all; she couldn't remember that happening, ever, except when a Zodiac was running on the surface. She saw none of her peers approaching yet… So it had to be something else.
But what? "Earth," she snapped at Aya, her preoccupation yielding even more annoyance into her tone. "France, in Paris, if you must know." And now a screaming girl, how wonderful! "It's not an alarm system. The alarm system would have pulled us up here as soon as you civilians intruded," she said to Mal. "It's something else. And it's not normal. This place should be silent, every world within sight is dead…"
To Joshua she offered a worried look. "I hear it. It's not normal. I'll try to find out what's happening." The other Zodiacs would come as soon as they could; for once, she was glad to see and hear Zue's angry tones. "Zue, could you come over here? I want to talk to you. Gemini Beta, please stop with the alcohol, being drunk isn't going to make you useful at all if that's..." A monster.
Then, the Princess appeared; Virgo turned on her heel and crossed to Chronos, then bowed a little. "Princess. I haven't learned much; just that there's nothing really to connect them. They don't know who brought them here. They just are. As soon as we have a few more here, I'd like to start bringing them back."

"... But it's a talking cat. Can't you see how incredible that is? Insane, sure, but incredible just the same, provided it's not just a figment of our imaginations... But could something really be in all of our imaginations at once? Wouldn't that be impossible? I mean..."
Outnumbered. Regina Faith was completely and utterly outnumbered, and quite possibly out-muscled her given how scrawny she was... She had been attempting to pull away just once more when the cat began to glow and change and then...
Regina was out for the count, swaying on her feet for one moment before her knees gave way and she dropped right down to the rainbow road, likely pulling both of the other girls down along with her if the two of them weren't able to catch her first. Some things were just too much, even for those who believed in just about everything.

Ricky was just about to respond to the female Gemini Zodiac when Chronos appeared. The young man stared in awe at the shimmering pink wings, the glistening green hair and the long white dress. She looked like a fairy angel, and the night had gotten undeniably weirder for him. "Oh great, now we got a freakin' fairy here too."
He shouldn't have given up that beer so early on in the night.

Zue stared at the Gemini. His mouth opened, his mouth closed, and he gawked. Somehow he had missed the whole still having the booze on them; he knew they were drunk, he didn't know they were still drinking! In front of all these people?! His pierced brow began to twitch as something in the very back of his mind screamed in agony. Their reputation...!
"I...what! - One moment, Virgo - Gemini, Give me that! We've got Civilians here!" It was a rhetorical question, and he went on to reach for the beer. Or maybe to strangle her, who knew. "I'm not saving your asses, I'm going to ki---" The half-cat paused mid-attempt, ears flattening back into the fluff of purple hair he possessed. The Princess! Straightening, he took a couple steps closer, offering a little bow to keep up appearances.
"Princess." Zue greeted. "I haven't learned anything Virgo couldn't already explain." Which was fancy speak for 'I just got here I'm sorry'.

"I think maybe you're right about us all being nutters."
Fritz's eyes scanned the throngs of people about, narrowing slightly as he scrutinized various faces, attempting to gauge their feelings at the current moment. From what he could see, he and Joshua weren't the only two that could hear it - several, if not all, of the others were all looking apprehensive, an almost tangible feeling of uneasiness spreading throughout the crowd.
"Yeah," Fritz answered with a frown, rubbing the back of his neck. He still felt that strange creepy crawly feeling across his skin, like something wasn't quite right. "It's...well, to put it bluntly, unnatural. I don't feel like it's...y'know, right."
The explanation was a bit lacking, but it was all he could scrounge up at the current moment since Fritz was now staring at the cat - which was not exactly a cat anymore, but a cat shaped human...person...thing.
"Okay," he said to Josh. "Now I know we're all nutters."
Virgo was talking now, and Fritz listened to her answer, rubbing his forehead absently. "It definitely doesn't feel normal - " he started to say, but yet another person had appeared - this one with a great deal more elegance and grace than any of the others, Virgo excepting. Fritz leaned towards Josh.
"...princess?" he whispered, giving the other a bemused look. "They have a princess too?"

"Regina .. Regi ... oh no..." She grunted as the girl went completely deadweight. There was no way she could hold her up but she did manage to leave Regina sitting on the road leaning against her legs.
Great. Just great. First face-sucking aliens then a talking transforming cat and now someone with -wings-. What was wrong with this place.
And she couldn't even move now! Not with Regina passed out like that.
"I have got to be on some horrible drug trip. I must have left one of the solvents open and i've been breathing the chemicals too long and now i'm tripping." She couldn't find any other explination for it as she looked between the cat, the two Zodiacs and the Winged girl. "Why is everyone so mad we are here. It's not our fault!' She half snarled not really talking to anyone specific but angry in general.

The rainbow path began to rumble. Another shadow crossed the stars. The loud baritone of -- an animal? grinding metal gears? a creaking building? -- something split the silence of space once more. It sounded like it was coming from right beside them. In the distance, Super Sailor Neso jogged back onto the battlefield, flagged on one side by a much shorter Sailor Cancer. His ribbons fluttered in tandem with the flowing chiffon of her gown, and both came to a stop near Princess Chronos without a word. They arrived just in time for something sickly black and massive to ram itself into the bottom of the path. It hit so hard that the ground sparked and hissed. Neso fell face first, arms and legs sprawling on either side of him. Cancer swayed dangerously, but caught herself on the arm of Neso as he fell, managing to stay upright just barely. Civilians toppled over, some more aggressively than others. The noise came again -- so loud it was painful. But no matter where anyone looked, they could not see anything. But the path continued to rumble.
