[ hallway ] "Oh," said Ren, with a glance towards Jove. He stifled the urge to laugh, turning his attention back to the kitsune. "Er. He's not a kitty; this is Jove, my little brother. My name's Ren."
He'd been about to ask the name of the boil, but Jove had darted away in a whiff of irritation, that look of embarrassment on his face making his cheeks glow brightly in the dim lighting. The fact that he had pink smooch marks all over his skin didn't really help either, and shaking his head in exasperation and amusement, Ren motioned for the kitsune to follow him as he headed after Jove.
...and headlong into a thick group of not just people crowded around, but vines. Lots of vines. Ren stared at the thick mass, trying to figure out how on earth they might manage to get past th -
"Hey! Jove!"
His little brother had darted forward, towards a familiar boil with dark hair. Ren stepped towards them, lifting his hand in greeting. "Hey, Demi," he said as he reached out, attempting to yank furiously at the vines. "What - "
There was a buzzing noise, and it was growing louder. In fact it was very loud - except that wasn't what was the most disconcerting. No, it was the disembodied voice that wafted through the room, and Ren glanced around as if he could find it. He couldn't see anything, but what he did spy was a very familiar redhead.
"LW, darling, what are you doing here?"

Lucky, a Reaper even had a weapon to slash at the vines... Van was still keeping more or less to himself. At this point, he was pretty sure if he opened his mouth to talk, he would throw up for sure, and he didn't even know what would happen if a dog demon had to vomit. So he didn't really want to find that out. How were any of these students still standing with all these foul odours? Nevermind the frightening prettiness of it all, but the smell itself could bring Van to his knees. He brought one arm up to cover his mouth against the pink stuff, trying to avoid inhaling too much of it as the vines changed.
With only his tail to attack, Van tried to bore through the vines, as if worming the tail into them, slicing blossoms off as he went.

Fffffffffffffffffft. Despite their constant attacks, Cuinn and his peers did not seem to be making much progress in the way of clearing out the vines. Ominously the walls around them began to shudder. The flowers seemed to be drawing something closer? To make matters worse, the strong floral scent now pervading the air stung his sensitive nose. Geeez, this place was miserable.
The cu sith had no choice but to keep fighting. There was no backing out now. Surely he and his new acquaintances could conquer this challenge! The canine stopped holding back. Little by little, he allowed low snarls to escape his throat as he tore away at the plant.
Come on, come on, come on. Why won’t you die!?

Honestly, they weren't doing that bad of a job at attacking the vines. There were others attacking too--those who she hadn't paid much heed to in her earlier panic--and with everyone attacking at it--
--oooooooh jack, what was the plant doing? Xiu instinctively covered her nose as the small grew stronger, grimacing when she heard the noises grow. What was happening?
She picked up something else to throw while shuffling a little closer to Mitsu, partly because she was afraid, and partly because she wanted to make sure to pull the other ghoul out of the way if something were to happen.

Sin's eyes narrowed on Rosc for a moment as she stepped up with a huff. "Poor Julian never gets out, he'll thank me for this experien-"
She froze and paused midstep clinging a bit tighter to Julian and Rosc before forcing a laugh. "Hey...that's a neat trick huh? What is that?" Her voice sounded a little less sure at the tail end. Her nose was assaulted by a floral scent so strong she sneezed. Everything looked so...pink, and not her kind of pink either!

The rumbling startled Levia, the shifting vines and alarming scent making her catch her breath in her throat. Well, not that she really needed to breath, exactly. Were the walls moving? Surely not, for walls in motion was not a property of walls.
"I'm beginnging to wonder if greater haste is needed." The grombie mumbled aloud, more to herself as she continued hammering the vines, shoving flowers out of the way as she went.

The damage she was doing was slight but at least it was something right? Looking around for another item to throw Mitsu took a moment to glance back once again to see if anything was coming. It was a little unnerving to know that they could be surrounded any minute.
About to turn around Mitsu couldn't help but notice the thick smell of flowers had grown strong to an almost gagging degree. And what was the source of the fluttering sound?
Trying not to think about it, Mitsu picked up another item and threw it at the plant hoping to do a little more damage this time. Everyone else was a least doing a good job.

Spitting out a chunk full of the nasty tasting plant, she continued to spit in a vain attempt to get the horrible taste out of her mouth. Ugh, she hated vegetables! she didn't eat greens, she ate meat. MEAT DAMMIT!
"I don't know how you can put up with the taste" she commented to Cuiin before she began to smell something else besides the overbearing smell..a sweet scent? She could see a pink haze drifting about. It didn't hurt her, but she didn't think it could bode well for them, considering the buzzing was getting louder..
She approached the vines again, this time trying to kick them out of their hold

Tsu looked around for a moment, trying to figure out where the question had come from upon hearing Levia's voice coming from somewhere in the ever growing mass of vines and flowers. Spotting her, Tsu started trying to make her way over there, hoping to stick with at least one person, and conversation almost always seemed to make the tasks go faster. "It seems that they, or at least the teens of their species, aren't in full control of their hormones. May be something the species suffers from, or possibly a personal choice, it's too early to tell. Vero seemed interested in gathering data however, so it might have been something they wished to learn of." she explained while continuing to attack the masses. Though in reality her intentions weren't quite as innocent as simple information sharing.

The blue undead continued to scratch away at the plant's fleshy exterior. As he did so, he glanced over at the other members of his group. The girls seemed to be concentrating their efforts from a safe distance while he and the others got up close and personal. Well, except for that Poke character; she seemed to have the guts, he thought to himself, to fight hand-to-vine. Maybe, just maybe, his respect for her went up a minute amount. Maybe.
The Frez Drah took another swing at a nearby flower. The aroma was agitating him beyond belief; maybe it would lend him some strength in their battle. As he did so, though, the lopped off blossom spewed a disgustingly sweet nectar on to his patchwork coat.
Great.

[[Hallway]] Krovi followed after Ren as Jove ran off ahead of them. "Not a kitty? Then what exactly is he?" Asking as his tail flickered lightly from side to side. He took the names to heart in hopes to remember them when he would be able to join Amityville. "I'm Krovi, Ren. A kitsune from another clan. I heard there are a few here already. Is that right?" Giving his name that followed with a question.
His eyes darted around as he smelled something faintly, but couldn't put his claw on it. He noticed that they were heading towards a larger group of students or visitors. He looked over towards the wall to find vines with the scent coming from them. His ears were pinned back as his tail began to bristle. He clawed at them to see if his nails were sharp enough to cut them down or put some damage on them. He blinked to see that Ren had noticed some familiar faces. LW and Demi? They must be classmates or friends.

Sneering as the scent continued to linger about, Shun couldn't really imagine what this was like for those with a more sensitive nose. Even so, he didn't let that deter him from going at the vines more. It seemed that their collective efforts had done a decent number on the barricade, but that wasn't something to signal them to take it easy.
Something was coming. He was certain of it.

Damien snarled out something guttural as the flower let out a puff of flowery scents in his face, that distracted him from punting the crap out of the foliage unlike the last time.
Surprisingly through all the chaos of screams and the thundering of walls that seemed to get ever closer, he heard the question that the Were-tiger asked him, about the horrible bear. that bear tipping fiasco was better off in the past in his mind. "Nope you silly cat, but take you apologies and put it to better use, against these vines." he yelled out before punching the wall.
"I don't want to know what's coming after us and I'm pretty sure you don't want to know either!" he barked back before yelping as something small came up next to him.
Thankfully he looked down before he dropped his fist and saw Jove next to him, punting at the wall too. "Jove!" he cried out happily, forgetting the tense moment between them all.
And that he was covered in glitter from ear to boot. "You've come to help us out? wicked! Let's show 'em how the canines do it, right!?" he said with a enthusiastic punch in the air.
That urge to never let Jove down came back with full force as he let out a barrage of kicks at the vines and the flowers before they could try to hit his canine friend.
