That is the king I wish to become, and so that is the man I must be." Well, as if things couldn't have gotten worse... Ephraim had to focus very hard to keep himself as calm as possible. Not the easiest thing to do given... what he felt pressing against him, and seeing that kind, genuine face staring down at him. At least Eirika wasn't here to see this, y'know. That would make things even worse. His face was growing more and more red, this situation almost couldn't have gone worse.Upon seeing Alisa and the others at the door, Cloud assumed the threat had passed and quickly turned to make his way away from the springs and the house, dragging Kaden along behind him. What a mistake this all turned out to be. Poor Ephraim, but Cloud supposed sometimes, sacrifices were necessary. Ephraim was practically abandoned to his fate by everyone else here, it seemed."Oh, you have no idea," Alisa said with a grin at Kana's words, silently being happy to see her again. it had been quite a while! "Oh don't worry, I can handle this one..." Ephraim would regret not answering Athena. Athena, quick! His face has already turned so red, if you don't kiss him now, I don't know what will happen! That's why he hasn't responded, he isn't okay! Oh, it has to be on the lips too, or it won't work! Alisa was probably the worst friend a person could ever have, but oh she sure enjoyed herself. With how innocent Athena clearly was, would she fall for this too? (( OOC: ))

     poor Ephraim, he had no one to save him from the real threat that was the adorable elf princess, Athena's cuteness had no end! She knew what a blush meant, but really, she didn't exactly have -that- much experience with blushing herself, or seeing many people in that sitation, so maybe there was more she didn't know about it? Did it have a limit? Those questions ran through her mind as she heard what Alisa said, and rather then taking a moment to question it, the gullible princess started to lower her face a little closer to his own. "I'll make you feel better! " Was all she said before her lips were suddenly over his, kissing him softly there on the lips.Maybe if she was more aware of things, she would have kept that kiss lasting a little longer then just that quick, innocent little kiss. Unfortunately for Alisa, it was just a quick kiss of his lips, before she raised her head away, so she could look down at him again. Her oblivious eyes were clearly concerned, as if she was led to believe something bad would happen if he didn't stop blushing! The poor girl..She had so much to learn. "..Is that better? ..Do you feel better now? ...But your face is even more red! ..Ah, should I....kiss you again?? " Poor, poor Athena.. Her extreme innocence was both cute and sad at the same time!

Unfortunately for Alisa, Ephraim was a bit too quick a thinker to let this happen, as he quickly grabbed Athena by the shoulders to stop her. Putting his hands on her at all in this state felt improper, but so would letting her kiss him. Though he knew she was only trying to help... as he shot a look at Alisa, who was just whistling innocently. He had been there when Alisa had fooled Jake into kissing Unisha, he knew how Alisa worked. "Don't always believe your sister..." He said, taking a deep breath, before reaching down, taking hold of her towel and pulling it up a bit, so that it would cover her breasts again. That way he wouldn't faint or something when she tried to stand off of him! Grabbing her towel felt EVEN more improper, but he really was trying to help."Boo, boo! I paid to see a kiss! I want my money back!" Such a kind and thoughtful girl Alisa was, wasn't she!Taking another deep breath to try to keep himself as calm as possible, Ephraim averted his eyes. He was only getting more nervous the more he looked at her. "I-I am fine, Athena. I appreciate your concern." He certainly wasn't fine given this entire situation! But to avoid further embarrassment, he'd have to try to get her to get off him, and he obviously wasn't going to force the issue. Both because she was so innocent and well-meaning, and because that towel clearly wasn't exactly trustworthy. Trying to move her by force would invariably make things so much worse!(( OOC: ))

"Hmm? " Athena blinked her now confused, oh-so-innocent blue eyes. "But..she's my sister. She would never say anything bad to me. " It was hard to believe Athena WAS her sister, like, shouldn't she know just how mischievous she was by now? She should know every detail about her dear sister, yet, she didn't seem to register at all how much of an evil streak Alisa had, or how perverted she was. She may of trusted in her so much, the thoughts never crossed her mind.
As he reached to pull her towel up a bit, to cover her exposed chest, Athena's cute smile remained as if it didn't really bother her. She didn't realize how very improper it was, or how uncomfortable it made him feel.
"Are you sure? You're really okay? " ....Well, she should probably take his word for it, given the scary glare she was getting from L'Arachel....Who was now fully dressed, having went to change moments after the house became safe again! Along with the rest of the ladies. Clearly, fun time was over for them all! L'Arachel made her way towards the two, and, with the help of Latona, she would use the staff like some kind of rod to slip in-between Athena and Ephraim, attempting to pry her away from him, as if touching her would be the greatest plague ever known to exist! "It's time to get off! You improper woman! What exactly do you think you are doing?! You are disgraceful! " Athena wasn't completely stupid, there was enough hints there to finally get herself up and off Ephraim, all the while holding the towel so it didn't fall back down! She looked confused, despite everything, and a little upset. She clearly wasn't so full of smiles anymore! "..I'm..sorry? ....Did I do something wrong? "

It was a wonder how much Alisa had played with her growing up without her even realizing. Though, Alisa had been quite overprotective of Athena for most of their lives BECAUSE she was so sweet and innocent, so that may have been part of why Athena didn't see what everyone else did. She was USUALLY spared of her sister's flights of deviousness. Not always, though, which was obvious given what almost just happened!
As L'Arachel interjected, inn an almost expected way, Ephraim got back to his feet as quickly as he could once Athena had been practically forced off of him. "L'Arachel, don't blame her. This is all a misunderstanding...""...Hey!" Well, Athena wasn't the only one whose smile was gone. Back to that bit about Alisa being a really overprotective big sister, she marched right over to L'Arachel, shoving her rather aggressively away from Athena. "Don't you talk to my sister that way!!" Seeing that sweet smile on Athena's face ever taken away got Alisa very irritated, and even worse so with how L'Arachel was speaking to her."!" Ephraim quickly positioned himself behind L'Arachel, catching her to keep her on her feet from that rather hard shove. "Alisa!" As good of friends as they were, he would not tolerate her doing that again."What! ...Oh, fine, that was a little out of line. But she has no right to talk to Athena that way!" She stepped away slightly, so she was kinda standing in front of Athena protectively, as if saying, "leave this to your big sis." "Just because you're jealous doesn't give you the right. It isn't her fault Ephraim is more attracted to her than you!" Well, things were certainly escalating now."Alisa, enough."Alisa gritted her teeth for several seconds, trying to restrain herself. ...But she was far too overprotective. "She called my sister disgraceful! ******** that! Athena deserves better than to be judged by some so-called-""Alisa, ENOUGH!" Ephraim's voice took on a far more commanding tone as he felt himself losing his temper. He could deal with people teasing or even criticizing him, but when anyone started to insult L'Arachel, he wasn't about to just stand there and listen. He was trying to defuse the situation, though it was hard not to let his anger start to surface--that's why he thought it best to just repeat himself. But that anger still did show in the tone he used. He would not let anyone speak to L'Arachel that way, friend or not.(( OOC: ))

       "A misunderstanding? Are you lying to me just to cover for this....--" She paused, stopping herself before she went on to say anything harsher. It was not easy stopping herself, she was one to speak her mind, but in this case..it was a little different. Perhaps due to so many others near by, she didn't want to create a scene, though that was hard enough to avoid at this rate. She was pretty furious. That fury would only increase at the shove she received from Alisa, it was rather unexpected, and due to her not being prepared for it, she would have stumbled back had it not been for Ephraim catching her. Hard to believe the very girl who was driving her to real anger, was also the girl who saved her from a very deadly Reaper poison! "What is your problem?! I'm starting to see the real sisterly connection you two share. Both of you are trouble..If I had it my way, I wouldn't want anything to do with ether of you sinful creatures! " Yep, this was getting heated, and not in the way Alisa hoped for a short time ago!
"...No..! " Tears were starting to form in her eyes. "Please don't fight!! I'm sorry! I'm so very sorry....Whatever it is that I did...to offend you...I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. Just...Don't fight anymore! I will leave... " It was no surprise, Athena really, really hated any form of fighting, especially among friends..Without another word, or waiting for ether of them to say something, Athena hurried away to the house. Not only did she need to distance herself from Ephraim and L'Arachel, she probably should get dressed too.
"...Oh no.." Alisa's plan seemed to go from silly fun, to the worst outcome possible. While she was pretty bad at jumping into things like this...she didn't want to just stand by and let Alisa look bad, or feel bad, like she probably did. "It really was a misunderstanding. Are you so dead inside you don't know how to have even a little playful fun? Athena is very innocent, she didn't know what she was doing might of been considered improper to others. She wasn't trying to be improper, she just didn't understand. You see? Don't jump to such conclusions. And you should never insult Alisa...Or I will give you a reason to be angry! " Well, this probably wasn't helping, she thought if she could take some of the heat off Alisa, she wouldn't feel so terrible, she certainly didn't mind making them angry at her instead. Alisa had a nice connection with Ephraim, she wouldn't want to see that be destroyed. Azura on the other hand, didn't really have much connection with him or L'Arachel, so she was free to make them hate her, if it came to that.

It was hard to defuse the situation when he was also becoming irritated, but adding to the fire wasn't exactly going to make it go out. It was even worse because it wasn't like he could explain to L'Arachel that this was Alisa's fault, that would just make the situation even worse."You don't have anything to apologize for! Hey! Athena!" Her hands clenched into fists. Oh, that did it. "You b***h!" Well, it didn't seem this situation was getting defused anytime soon. "You made her cry! You want to act tough, huh?! Fight me! I win, you go apologize to her!""Nobody is fighting anyone, Alisa.""Stay out of this, Ephraim!""No." He stepped around to stand in front of L'Arachel now. "If you try to fight her, you'll fight me instead.""..." She let out an irritated growl. "<******** this! You're lucky Ephraim is my friend. A holy woman, yeah right. A holy woman wouldn't make an innocent girl cry.""Alisa, enough already."
Ephraim let out a heavy sigh. That could have gone better. To think this all started with him coming to try to help with the Caius situation, and at first it got out of hand in a way that most would consider funny and harmless, but then all this happened. "Azura, you aren't helping the situation. Just stop." Even though he did understand Alisa's desire to protect her sister--he knew the feeling very well--and he could agree L'Arachel reacted a bit too harshly, he certainly wasn't going to just stand there and let anyone attack L'Arachel whether verbally or physically. No matter who was in the wrong, it angered him considerably if anyone tried to attack L'Arachel in any way. He'd rather this end in brief bitterness than lasting hatred though, so he still did what he could to try to make that happen. Whether or not Alisa and L'Arachel could return to amicable terms he didn't know, but if they did actually start fighting the likelihood seemed much smaller.

  Athena settled herself in one of the empty rooms, her clothes were sitting there neatly piled up on the floor, behind a privacy divider, where she would enclose herself in, giving her enough room to dress. While she didn't feel up to being so quick, it was probably best she hurried up and got herself dressed.She kind of just wanted to keep away from both Ephraim and L'Arachel now, completely fearful she might do something else wrong! She did that a lot, it seemed. It was hard to believe how cheerful she could be, when most of her life was spent making so many mistakes she didn't mean to!
As she finished, the last thing to pick up was her bow, before she opened up the divider to step back out. From there she made her way through the back, opening the sliding door just enough to take her leave from the building. She wouldn't feel any better sitting inside here, she needed some air, and a good distance from the group before she accidentally started another fight between friends! From there, she walked her way into the forest, the complete opposite side from where everyone else was. Eventually, she would settle down against a nice tree, in the lush green grass.
"..Do you want me to bite her? I haven't had a good dinner in a while.." She was joking, as if that would lift up the angry Alisa's spirits a bit! Yes, Kana seemed to be following right along side her the moment she left Ephraim and L'Arachel there.

Upon informing their allies that they intended to go on a little family trip to a few areas, a few in Avalanche decided they'd like to accompany them. It didn't particularly bother Ephraim, and it might be more fun for their children to have some of their friends around at any rate. His children seemed to be rather close to Carmen and Unisha's in particular, which made sense. They had stopped at the Hot Spring and everyone else seemed to have gone to sleep, which allowed Ephraim a rare moment alone with the woman he loved. They had hoped to steal a moment together in a setting like this one anyhow, and so it seemed good to take advantage of the opportunity. He had come out first, letting out a soft sigh as he submerged his toned body into the springs. His aches and stiffness seemed to melt away quickly... He couldn't help but think relaxing in a hot spring like this after training one's muscles would help tremendously. Though now that he was here... he was feeling a little apprehensive about the time he was going to spend with her here. Surely it wouldn't be too awkward... though he wasn't the best at conversation, and it wasn't exactly the most regular thing to spend time with a woman in such a state of undress. Even one he was so close to. ...Well, now he was starting to feel nerves creeping upon him. Suddenly the hot spring felt less relaxing. "...Should I just get out and head to sleep instead...?/" He wondered aloud quietly to himself. Maybe she would just fall asleep herself and save him the choice. It had been quite a long day, so he would understand. All the more reason this spring would be beneficial to them both... probably. (( OOC: ))

"Absolutely not! " He would hear in his mind, where no thought was safe in the presence of Alisa! Before he could turn around to look for her, he would feel her hands come up over his shoulders, with his back so close to the wall of the hot spring pool, she was easily able to reach right over, and use him for a balance to step into the hot spring, bad news for Ephraim, was when her feet finally got to the bottom of that pool, her balance would shove him down under the water for just a second! Head included! Maybe THAT would take away his nervousness and SILLY thoughts! When he came back up, probably in a panic which would so greatly amuse the evil princess, her arms would come up around him, her body oh-so-close to his, as she rested her chin against the top of his shoulder, whispering something into his ear. "I got you this time..You're not going anywhere, my love. ........Everyone else is asleep, you know.." It was a wonder if she was here for them to relax, or .well, not!
And just as she might of caught his attention for the better, she released him with a goofy little laugh. "Just kidding.. I know! Were here to relax, and this does feel great, doesn't it? We should come here more often...Ahh.." She could certainly get used to this! Finding herself a spot to sit of the smooth rock, she was just low enough that the water would come up to the top of her chest. With the cloudiness of the water due to the heat, she was pretty well concealed enough! "Relax your mind, this isn't just for sore muscles! " Hopefully, at least he might learn to calm his over active brain down enough to enjoy this nice moment they so rarely had together!

He blinked, feeling his body unintentionally stiffen at the rather intimate situation, but he wouldn't have much time to focus on that before he was dunked fully into the warm water. He quickly reemerged, taking a deep breath, and--well, she was already against him again. Gods, did it get hotter suddenly? He lowered his gaze as he felt her pressing against his back, close enough to rest her chin on his shoulder. His face had to be flushed... she must be loving this, knowing her. But he couldn't help playing right into her hands!"Wh... what... I don't... That's... I-I mean..." The king who was usually so well-spoken seemed to be having his brain short-circuit right now. This is what he was partially worried about when she suggested this! ...Not that... it was terrible...
But much to his surprise, and almost disappointment, she would release him from her clutches. Truly, she must have been feeling overwhelmingly merciful today. "..." He glanced towards her as she sat down, his face not getting any less red. It was already a rather intimate situation, but of course, she just had to open it with all of THAT! He quickly averted his gaze, clearing his throat awkwardly. "Y-yes, relax..." He let out a slightly stifled exhale, closing his eyes. ...He could usually at least try to think of the horizon of Renais to relax, but right now, his every thought was being invaded by... a perverted elf princess. One who was WAY too hot for him to relax. "...H-how am I supposed to relax after that?!" He finally let out as his attempts to concentrate were continuously disrupted. "My body is more tense than it's ever been, and my mind? It's the furthest thing from relaxed...!" Alisa certainly had quite the power over him when she wanted to, didn't she. The beloved forest princess's forward charms were a little too much to handle even when they weren't in such an intimate situation! Still... at least it was just them here, as Alisa could tell with her senses. The others were certainly asleep, so no one would be able to see their little... moment. Probably a good thing, given what Alisa was likely doing to him. (( OOC: ))

Gosh, was he ever so easy! With all they have been through, and all they have.....done, it highly amused her how flustered she could get him within only seconds just a few playful words and a little closeness! "Heh, you are to easy, you know! There's nothing here you haven't seen before! "
They would just have to get a lot more moments of being so....close, it was the only way to get him more comfortable around her it seemed! That could be fun, even. It certainly wasn't something either of them would complain about!
After sitting herself down into the hot springs, her amused smile only grew. "Oh, come on. I didn't do THAT much! That was nothing, as you so well know. My skills to bring you to a blushing mess are top notch. If I really wanted you endlessly flustered, we wouldn't be in here for long.." She said with a wild grin. Her hands coming up behind her head as she leaned back a bit. "You better relax, we won't get this time often, you know! "

While MOST others were asleep, there was one in particular who didn't feel like just crashing and missing out on the perfect night that was upon them! She also didn't want to disturb Alisa and Ephraim, of course, so she went into the complete opposite direction from the Hot springs, to the much more enjoyable, cooler water of the near by lake. The forest was almost endless once one was actually inside it, so they really had a great distance between them for everyone's privacy. Since this was a family trip between Ephraim and Alisa's many children and their closer friends, of course Neptune would want to go along. Coming up to the lakes edge, she glanced out to the glistening water, illuminated by the soft moonlight. Really, this was far better then the hot springs!
Stepping into the cool water, one foot after the other, taking cautious, slow steps forward. It was dark, maybe even a little creepy due to not being able to see a thing ahead of her as much as she would like, or the depth. As she walked more... There it was, the drop off. Her foot no longer touched the bottom, which made for a rather embarrassing moment of dropping like a log into the deep water. After looking so graceful too!
Coming back up almost instantly, she was rather glad it was dark, and that no one else was around to hear that little screech seconds before falling in! Finally, she let herself relax, letting herself float on her back as she looked up at the moon above...

Solaris A few moments after Neptune reemerged, she might find herself surprised again as a voice spoke to her. "Seems you've finally come." The familiar voice belonged to Constantine, and it was at this moment she'd realize she wasn't quite as alone as she had been hoping, as he magically summoned a light to illuminate the lake.
...And all around her were quite a few people indeed. What kind of late pool party did this turn out to be?"Nicely done, darling." She'd hear Solaris's voice, with a sarcastic mocking tone behind her. She would practically be able to hear the grin on her face. Though if she actually turned around to look at her, she'd realize she looked a bit ridiculous herself, as she had her little sister Mordi attached to her arm like a crab. ...She did not do well in water. She sank. Like a rock. So she always attached to one of her older siblings."Oh, don't listen to them, Neptune. I don't think that moment was that embarrassing at all!" Reiner enthusiastically chimed in, as if that was going to help her. But his beaming face would really make someone believe it would."She could barely see. It's Constantine's fault for snuffing out the light right before she showed up." Elcrest said with a small sigh."Or it's Solaris's fault for not inviting her like she was supposed to." Talia chimed in."If everyone just saw me casually stroll into her room in the middle of the night RIGHT after we got together, what would they think? Besides, she's an angel. I knew she'd find her way here eventually." As if that had anything to do with anything."...Well, good job for finding your way here, Neptune. I suppose. Now you can join us." Alisa likely knew about this little get-together, given her senses. Whether Ephraim did or not, who could be sure. He was pretty sharp, so it was possible he noticed it even without.Though when he was around Alisa, he often seemed anything but sharp. "That's... that doesn't... change anything!" Ephraim said, feeling his face redden much deeper at what she said. They were just lucky everyone was either asleep or out in a lake pool party! "...Gods. I was raised to be a proper prince, you know... how in the world did I end up in love with you of all people?" It really was a great question, and yet he couldn't imagine it any other way. "...R-right. Relax..." As if them just saying it over and over would help him do it! He let out a soft sigh, sliding an arm around her shoulder, and rather boldly pulling her to lean against him. He tensed up slightly at the contact--even though he himself initiated it--but after a moment, the tension relaxed slightly. It was... perhaps not the most proper place for two royals to spend together, but having her so close did make him relax. ...Granted, it was helped by him not looking at her too much. It would be difficult for him to remain relaxed if he did that. "Being in love with you is certainly anything but simple, Alisa..." He said with a small sigh, though it certainly wasn't a sigh of disappointment. Indeed... he was anything except disappointed right now. Being with her always made his heart feel so... full. It was such an odd feeling, for someone who had been so distant all his life. But Alisa had such a talent for grabbing him by the collar and forcing him to close the distance between them. And he loved her for that. And so much more.
