Okay, so she pulled the same trick ol' wolf guy did earlier. Discarding her weapon wasn't exactly the best choice... but then he noticed the pink glow around it. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all, and in predictable fashion, Fenrir dodged with another Raiden tackle, all the way across the arena.
And then it came right back at him.
Matt nodded as Emma tried to kick up some sand. Same strategy she'd tried to use on him, a distraction from the real gambit. Fenrir probably had no idea she could do that... but now, the guy in the stands did. So yeah, there was a reason he wasn't in class right away. This was learning, too.

Fenrir charged at Emma, but knew better than to get fooled by the classic kicking-up sand trick. After all every single opponent he'd faced in the coliseum had tried to use this on him at some point or another, and while it might've worked in close-quarters on the ground, standing up and running just made it look all too obvious. With the coliseum wall still on his left Fenrir dodged the sand by making an inhuman jump and run up along-side the wall towards his opponent. Then Fenrir flipped off of the wall and tossed his knife down to his left hand, with the sun shining bright above him so as to momentarily blind any who tried to look up at him. This flip allowed him to inadvertently dodge the scythe, but more importantly it put him right at Emma's left side. Attacking now seemed risky, but as the scythe came back around Fenrir saw that his timing couldn't be more perfect. With a steel blade still in his left hand to block any counters Fenrir quickly fell to a knee and lashed out with a right-handed fist full of electric ki. "Lightning Fist!" He shouted as he attacked at Emma's side, looking to hit her floating rib for an easy break. With her scythe reaching her at the same time of the attack, Emma was in a very tricky situation. With the scythe reaching her front and Fenrir attacking her side it was practically impossible to dodge both attacks. If she went on to grab the scythe as intended Fenrir would land an easy hit but if she tried to counter the punch she'd get cut up by her own scythe instead, which at this point had ran out of her Ki so she could no longer control its flight path.

± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ㊋ : . : ± : . : ± : . :㊋ : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Emma charged her energy and completely deflected Fenrir's attack while catching her scythe by its shaft. "Nice try, but no." Emma couldn't take this anymore...too much effort on her part would kill her, and generally speaking...everything she did was useless, she rested her scythe on her shoulder and jumped backwards...she was considering telling him to stop already, this fight was going nowhere, but the outcome was obvious. Emma continued to back away from him...if she would've learned mind over matter it wouldn't have really made a difference with him dislocating her arm, she'd just be able to fix it on her own. "Hmm..." Emma was thinking...and she was getting very lazy with her defense, just relying on an automatic ki wall. Her reason was...she had to think...she needed some kind of new plan. Emma resheathed her scythe before walking straight back up to Fenrir. "Stop." Simple word, she'd said it last time. That was her best way of saying the fight was done...she wasn't going to continue it, even if she wanted. Not only that, but they missed a very important class.
Heavenly Combo

Description: The user gets in to a defensive stance and attacks without warning. Not only are they able to defend against up to C-Rank techniques, including weapons, but they are striking the enemy quickly, leaving reminders that when the punch hits, it hurts. A possibility of this combo is knocking the enemy out if every hit connects, the combo itself will leave anybody speechless. This move is actually pretty graceful for a style that focuses on forward rushing and flatout hitting the enemy until they faint. As far the punches themselves...it's up to whoever is using the style.

Fenrir stepped forward to press an attack halted when Emma dropped her defense. From the looks of her condition she'd had enough. Those energy blasts from her body must've been very taxing, and she'd been using them quite often to fend off his attacks. Combined with her destroyed arm she was already in a poor condition, though Fenrir wasn't doing much better himself. While he'd been using lower-ranked skills the sheer number of them he had to use to dodge and move around Emma was very exhausting. "Hmph, had enough then?" He asked, though he could've already guessed the answer.

"It's obvious who'll run out of energy first, I can run around all day and it won't do a thing to you, my best bet was to tire you out...but I think you may have a bit more stamina in you than I do, in short, I concede defeat." Emma twirled her scythe up down and around now. "Not like I would've gotten much from winning though...you haven't had an updated card in a while. Even if there was a tourney I would've gained...absolutely nothing thanks to everybody's ranking." Emma yawned. "I'm going to need a drink..." Emma decided, a frown was plastered on her face.

Fenrir simply shrugged and accepted his promotion. With this he was finally a level 4 as well. "Whatever, looks like I have some training to do now." He growled and picked up his baseball bat once more before making his exit. This round was almost a tie, but next time Fenrir would be sure to pound Emma into the dirt.

What, that was it?
Hell, that wasn't even a fight. It was a warmup. And now the wolfman, jerk as he was, had two levels on him instead of one! Dammit, she shouldn't have given up. Matt stood and slumped his way out of the stands. At the very least, he'd learned a few things about them. Fen, for example. Total rushdown, full offense. The goal wasn't to break his offense at all, but to force him to try and catch you. Mistakes were easier to make when frustrated.
Emma though was a bit tougher. Matt had chosen a pretty poor style for someone who thought with so many counters and defenses. The immediate problem he saw with her though... was that she used so many of them, she just about drained herself. He grinned at another flaw... her little trick. He remembered it from his test, when she was tasked with distracting him.
Just how long could she withstand pain... until the cumulative effects of strikes, breaks, and fatigue smashed into her harder than any attack would?
Oh yeah, definitely time for training... and as he looked at his watch, he nearly freaked out. Time for class, too! God, he was so ******** late...

We want to recruit Boverk but he's a bit hard to talk to. So I have to get him mad and get him sedated to talk to him rationally. Also how are you feeling? Also you get your mark tomorrow" She was concerned about him since he was vomiting the other day.

Yun shakes his head, looking around.
"I don't like that..."
He looks up at the moon and clenches his fist. White light appeared infront of his fist as he lets it disapear.
"If we kidnap her through force, Boverk will be enraged and there will be no way of recruiting him. I think I can lead her to us, but then again..."
He turns to Tohru.
"Issac and Chao may be the muscle, but they are very hostile. I look at her, and if you tried to recruit her, her head might hurt. I think I can persuade her with a bit more of pacifism rather than kidnapping her. If she follows, then Boverk will follow in suit."

The wind always seemed to follow her but she knew why."I wish I can say you could do that but it's an order. I don't want to end up being chained up naked like the last girl. She almost died because she wasn't respectful. So you do it or I might be forced to cut your head off your shoulders. You could always trick her as well." She sighed as she laid back on the ground looking at the stars.

The ki then vanished after the breeze."Very well you can do that. I got bo trust me. I can outwit him easily. So what have you done since the last time I saw you."
