Zaul's eye widened a bit in surprise at Oro's answer. "If ya want me ta leave it at that, I guess there's nothin' I can do about it. All I've got left ta ask, then, is if I'm correct in assumin' they ain't gonna kill because o' this 'ritual'." There were some thoughts swimming in his head right now, though. He wanted to ask the two what exactly they were, and Oro's mention of his "people", as well as the bit about making Schwarz "wish he were mortal" made him wonder even more.

He made a quiet gasp as he overheard someone new approaching the scene, while at the same time catching sight of Schwarz dropping Oro like a ragdoll. A name he happened to hear made him feel a slight pang of nervousness too, though he didn't outwardly express it. Lloyd? Could this be th'...naw, self, don't jump to conclusions like that...there're plenty 'a guys named Lloyd... Shaking his head as if snapping out of something, he made a chuckle of secondhand embarrassment as he looked down at Oro. "A-heh-heh. sweatdrop I take it from the way 'e was bein' handled that 'e can't move an inch fer now. Jus'...I'll take one side an' you take th' oth'r already," he said to Emil, before picking up Oro and putting one of his arms around his shoulders.

"Colette's here too?" Emil asked before taking a moment to look around. He had a thought that she would be nearby, but he didn't see the blonde angel anywhere. After hearing the rest of Lloyd's explanation, Emil chuckled slightly. "Seems we both have stories to tell." ^.^; He would then turn his attention to Zaul. "We can head back to Luin to rest." He would also wrap one of his arms around Oro's shoulders from the other side.

After having to say goodbye to Lelia, whom had decided to go on her separate way to continue her search for her brother, Colette took a look around as she and the others reach Hima. She was feeling bad that she was unable to help her new friends, and she was a bit worried about Lloyd.

A little smirk was on Veig's face. "It wasn't all that strange, just a bit unorthodox." He said. "Maybe you did motivate them to be thankful." His face though went into a scowl as a stab of pain went through his shoulder. "You wouldn't happen to be a servant of the Church would you? If so do you know any healing artes by chance." A little bit of blood began to show through the bandages on his shoulder. He cursed silently under his breath. He strained the injury and reopened the wound, something he did frequently due to go from town to town while taking no time to ever rest his wounds.

"A wandering prayer." Veig said to himself as he followed Hina down the stairs. He had never heard of anyone really doing that before. As he got to the room he unbandaged the wound. Yeah, it looked bad. It was a deep gash from taking a knife stab when he had let his guard down. The whole area around the cut was swollen in shades of red and purple. "Damn, looks worse than it did earlier." He growled.

Veig gave Hina a confused look as she began to dance again like she did outside. It was only a second later that he realized that this is how she casts spells as the First Aid was cast. He felt less pain in his shoulder now so he glanced at it. The swelling had reduced now, only being a light red around the cut and the would had not closed up mostly. "Looks like this will add to the list of scars." He sighed before looking at Hina. "Thank you. You have a very interesting way of using spells." He commented on before working on rewrapping his wound with some fresh bandages that he kept in a small sack that he kept to carry supplies.

Veig was impressed by the girls explanation on her spell casting. He had never met anyone who could do anything like that before. "It's alright that you couldn't heal it completely. It feels much better now." He let out a small chuckle at how the girl was suddenly acting. "Sir? There's no need to act so formal. My name is Veig Arelius, a traveling mercenary and bounty hunter."

"Thank you and yes that's about the gist of it. No killing until after the ritual... and that's only if they win." he then heard what was being discussed within the group, "Count me and my brother out. I will not carried into a town with a gaping hole in my chest." True enough the hole where Rox had stabbed him was still there however no golden gel seemed to be leaking from it anymore.

Schwarz looked over at his brother hearing his protest, "Well if you are that worried about it, I can always slap one of these on you." Schwarz pulled out what looked like some sort of sealing tag with strange markings on it.

"I swear, I'll rip out your jugular vein if you use that in front of these people!" scream

"I'd like to see you try in your current state. Besides I prefer the cuddly version, and I bet the lady over there would be willing to carry you if you were cuter." emotion_awesome

"How dare you define that as cuddly and cute! I despise that degrading form." stressed

He then turned to Cleo, "Hey Lady Swords-a-lot, would you carry him if he was cuter?" emotion_awesome

"DON"T IGNORE ME!!" scream

The beautiful elf rubbed her cheek with a finger as she spoke softly, "Hm, it depends. What kind of cuddly and cute are we talking about?" Perhaps a surprise to Emil and Zaul, but Cleo spoke without a hint of disgust. Instead, she spoke with a little mix of embarrassment, curiosity, and hope. "By the way, my name is Cleo." Her normal cold expression returning at that.

"It would be great if we could bump into Colette. It'll make finding her easier." Lloyd smiled as he spoke. He then looked over at Schwarz after hearing what he said. "Huh, so it'll make him smaller? I guess that would be a good idea."

Cinkel just shrugged when Colette addressed him. "Supper, dinner, lunch, breakfast, whatever you want, I can fix." He then smiled sweetly, not oblivious to what she meant, but all the same.
