[Yes Petro, Lizzy can hit hard in desperate situations. 8D *has proof from X'mas!*]
"Petro!" She made her way to the boil, who was probably trying to find Arachne too, as per her previous request, judging from the name he had been yelling. Besides, moving together would probably make it easier to ward away any... Stray thoughts that might attack them.
The lack of a response from the ghoul worried her, and she found herself leading them further into the fog.
'Its too late... Your friends will die, one by-'
"Ughhh, ARACHNE! WHERE ARE YOU?" She yelled again, the fog limiting her vision. The world was grey, so grey... Just as her thoughts were about to wander, she spotted something red ahead before it was enveloped by the fog again. Not quite sure if it was an illusion or not, she grabbed Petro's arm, leading the both of them towards it.
"Petro... If you can see her too, its not an illusion," She stated as calmly as she could, although her voice was trembling slightly; she had seen Arachne die in her visions and part of her was afraid that it would come true... Or that it had already happened, that what she saw in the fog was real, and that the voice was right. Trying not to think too hard about it, she turned to face Petro once again, "If you see her the same time I do, I want you to grab her - we're running out of here."
'You just led that boil to his dea-'
"A-Arachne?" She frowned, staring at the figure in front of her before looking at Petro, not sure if she was another trick of the fog, "If you can see her too... Please... Pick her up... I..." She wanted to say that she was afraid to touch her after the last vision she had involving the spiderkin, but she stayed silent, not daring to complete her sentence.

Mandy didn't acknowledge anything Lizzy said, just moving closer into a tighter hug with her way now clear. She knew that she wasn't brilliant with words so if anything she did could help Winnie it would be what physically reality she could provide, and maybe she was a bit selfish because after her own illusion she needed the hug as well.
Please work, please work, please work.
CLAP
The loud sound close to her ears caused them to twitch but with it brought relief as Winnie clearly came back to herself. Pulling her head away from where it was buried in Alwines shoulder she looked at where her eyes would be.
"Hey you Win. Look what you did to yourself silly, your bandages are all messed up." there was note of levity in her voice as she tried to help lightened their mood and with careful hands she reached out and picked up one of the ends of the bandages and started to wrap it round the ghouls neck again.

Claire ran and ran. And she ran a bit more. Tears streamed out of her face as she slowed down slightly into a fast walk. She could make out a large building: a lighthouse of some sort? Maybe. She heard voices and cries... Familiar cries. Some, much too familiar. The voice of her sister seemed to scream directly into her skull. The screams were faint, however, and seemed to quiver. When they were gone, she couldn't remember them. When they were there, she couldn't forget. CLAIRE IS A LOSER. A LOSER. CLAIRE HAS NO FRIENDS, MOTHER. NO FRIENDS AT ALL. I HAVE LOTS OF FRIENDS. LOTS AND LOTS. The jeers were seemingly lame and barely hurtful, but Claire's mind was fragile and the cries hurt her dearly.
The screams fainted and Claire snapped out of it. Figures moved, not too far away to reach.
"Is anyone here? Please, can someone help me? I don't feel good. I asked the things at the other place if they had food, and Ren was there and..." she wailed and clutched her bad as she walked closer to the figures.

Petro couldn't look at Lizzy for too long. The hallucination he'd seen of her, half of her skull bashed in, her pink hair stained red, her body crumpled in a lifeless heap because he'd been so careless with his weapon. He grunted to her and nodded at her instructions, just as another figure appeared (Claire) before them.
He tensed, "Are y' real?" he asked the clearly upset ghoul. He doesn't what is or isn't real anymore.

One of the figures approached her, asking her if she was real. Why shouldn't she be real? She pondered this for half a moment before she replied. "Yes, I'm re---" I WISH YOU WEREN'T REAL. Her sister's voice interrupted again. This time, a shadowy version of her appeared behind the boil. "Go away, Lem. GO AWAY." The voice disappeared. "Yeah, I-I'm real. Are you real? Where am I?" she stuttered, clutching her chest.

[HUNIIII, I have permission for Lizzy and Petro to find and grab Arachne. <3 So just assume they found her@my last tag at the top of this page!]
'Give up, you know that its usele-'
"It'll be fine, we'll be fine," She muttered softly under her breath as she moved to touch the Arachne who was clearly still trapped in an illusion of some sort; when it became apparent that there was someone else there with them, she froze, thinking it was one of those hooded figures ago, to strike them at their lowest hour. She slowly looked at the approaching figure with a frown, squinting through the fog... When she realized that Petro could see her too, her eyes widened.
"If we can both see her... I guess... Uh, Claire?" She had only met the ghoul a few times, but due to a misunderstanding, she at least know the avarice demon, even if it was only by name. Looking at Claire, and then Arachne, she decided there was no time to lose; the more time they spend in here, the riskier it becomes.
"Petro, carry Arachne please," She nodded, chewing on her lower lip as she extended out a hand to Claire, "Don't listen to the voices. They're not real - come, we have to go. Now."

"Lizzy? I k-know you. I know you. You're real. I know you." She said to Lizzy, murmuring slightly. "What voices?"
I am real, Claire. Ugh, you're so stupid! That's what mother always says, anyway. Dumb, she says. "Oh, that. What is it, Lizzy?"
The voice faded again.
She followed Lizzy, wondering if she was also just a voice. She couldn't be... Could she? Wait, what voices?
Claire was, once again, confused.

Petro nodded, kneeling before Arachne to heft her into his arms. She was heavier than Amrita and he couldn't carry her the same way he had the vetala. Instead, his arms slipped under the crook of the spiderkin's knees and just below her arms, cradling her protectively to his bare torso, almost forgetting about the thin cut that stretched across his chest where that cloaked reaper sliced.
"We got y', we'll get y' to the others," he whickered softly to the spiderkin as he carefully got to his feet, favoring one leg over the other. He's going to walk off the pain, no complaining from him. When it became clear Lizzy knew Claire was it? The tikbalang gestured his head at her to follow them. "Let's get to the others, still gotta find Seph and Mac and Astra," he explained.

'Are you real?' was the first words the ghoul said on seeing the three of them; Elizabeth, Petro and a third, a ghoul that she didn't know. They had to be real right? They weren't torn apart..well at least Elizabeth wasn't, as Petro hoisted her into his arms she saw with dazed vision that he was injured.
'Seph, where is Sepheran?' she asked, ignoring for a moment that she was being carried by a boil with very little clothing, she didn't think she could rely on her own legs right then anyway. She shut her eyes, still hearing the occasional whisper of whoever was using her mother's voice to torment her and then opened them again, looking at Petro.
'Thanks.' she said quietly. In a moment Arachne would ask the boil to set her down. When she stopped shaking that was.

She took Claire's hand, shivering slightly at the touch of someone else's hand, smaller than hers... For the sake of everyone, they have to pull through somehow. Giving the hand a comforting squeeze, she pulled the other ghoul close to her so that they were walking side by side, "This fog makes you see and hear things that are not there... Terrible things... Things that are not here, that are not real, but make you upset all the same..."
She inhaled sharply as the sound of her friends' cries echoed through her mind again, reminding herself that it was all a lie. Petro and Arachne are fine, they were there beside her. The real them.
... Sepheran, Mac... Astra? Who's- Oh, that fairy that Jericho didn't like.
"I... The fog... Sepheran, Mac..." Her voice was a soft whisper as she recalled what the fog had tried to show and tell her - Mac's death and Sepheran's death prophecy. As they walked through the fog, the visions started again - a petrified Sepheran, a bloodied Mac. All lies since nobody else could see them, but frightening all the same. Her grip on Claire's hand tightened as she looked up at Petro, a pained expression on her face, "Yes, let's hurry..."
Her gaze moved downwards towards Arachne, who was now in Petro's arms, and she forced herself to smile, "Sepheran... He's not out yet. Mac too... But they'll be fine. We'll shout to them..." Riley and Jericho saved her with their voice - it should work for the rest of their ragtag group too. It has to work.
As they continued to walk, the fog eventually thinned, and once again, they could see again. The rest of their group were there, collecting themselves after Riley's "rampage". Hesitantly, she let the avarice demoness' hand go, "Claire, don't wander off... Stay here please..." Lizzy was sure she had seen her and Riley together at that demon party... It made it easier. Much easier.

Petro walked in dutiful silence, the part of his leg where the bat struck him was throbbing in pain but he schooled his features to hide it. Nothing was broken, he could still walk after all. Strangely enough, pain was the only thing he could ever manage to successfully hide from other people. Every other emotion, however, would be visible on his face, plain as day. So he let Lizzy handle the explanations to Claire because it was obvious he was avoiding eye contact with the spider demoness. He was still too unnerved by the cruel vision the fog had forced on him.
The spiderkin's thanks was a welcomed distraction. He shook his head, tried to give her a small, if somewhat apologetic smile for snapping at her earlier in the trip, "'S nothing. 'M sure Seph and Mac're okay. Seph's plenty tough back in Christmas Town and Mac don't look like no pushover. A-and Astra..." he trailed off, worry and concern for the fairy apparent on his grim features.
As they rejoined the group, Petro made no motion to lower Arachne. "Y' get down when y're good and ready."

What the hell--
Sheridan had taken several steps back, his gaze fixed on Riley, his eyes narrowed. Something was wrong, very wrong. And then she was attacking her friends, she was attacking them! And they were fighting her, why were they fighting among themselves?
"What the hell is wrong with you?!"
His head reared back, jaws parted, he was prepared to freeze them all where they stood to make them stop! Or at least he would have been had this island not robbed him of his natural ability, he seemed to have forgotten that. Stop it, just stop it, all of you!
Another step backward, away from the group, a very real trace of fear in his eyes. No, he was too tired to fight, what if he were drawn into the fight next, he couldn't. What was happening to them, to all of them? If this kept up, this madness, the reapers would not have to come for them, they would all perish here on their own.
No! The lighthouse, it was their only chance. He had to get there, he had to find the signal. If only he could reach it, he could end all of this, and then they could all go home. He turned, scanning the fog, searching for the shadow of the building in the distance. There, he had to get to it!
Run! He didn't care what nightmares came anymore, didn't care if he was alone, didn't care that his body ached and his lungs burned with each stride. He had to get to that lighthouse, he had to get there now! They had to get out of here!

((Oh jesus what have I done omg I can’t believe I wrote this wtfwtfwtf))
“No, I’m alright thanks” Astra replied to Petro, Feeling reassured that at least he appeared to be fine. But it his next statement, that caught her off guard. “What?! You weren't even on a boat?!” How did that happen?! It didn’t make any sense…until she remembered that this school trip was supposed to be mandatory. It would make sense that the teachers would have found some way to make everyone attend, even if they didn’t want to. Continuing to watch the others, it wasn’t long before everything went from bad to worse….oh, so much worse…
Ahh…look how small you are…such easy prey…
The voice had come from nowhere, and was barely even a whisper. For a second Astra thought she was hearings things, until it spoke again. Much closer this time.
I’m going to enjoy playing with you…
The hairs on her back stood on end, and she spun around to see who it was, but was face with more fog and darkness. Afraid, she turned back to move towards petro or someone else for safety, but found that they had moved on without her.
“Wait! Don’t leave!” She called out again, flying after them all as fast as she could, but found that this time, she couldn’t catch up. Everyone seemed to continue moving away, not bothering to look behind to see if she was still there. No matter how fast she flew, they still kept moving away. Behind her, the voice snickered cruelly at her attempts to flee.
Why do you flee, little pixie? Do you really think those people will help you? A figure began to form in the fog, one that was much bigger and taller than the reaper she had fought before, the scythe it held in its hand gleaming evilly in the moonlight. Even she could feel its thirst for blood. The reaper seemed to float after her with ease, catching up to her at a frightening pace.
“Please! Someone! Anyone! Help me!” She called out franticly to everyone else, but this only served to amuse her pursuer. He laughed again, and this time reached out to grab the fairy with a gnarled, withered hand. The scream that Astra had was caught up in her throat, her form shaking with fear as she looked up at the hooded figure that held her captive.
“Do not fret, little one….I do not wish to kill you…Merely to show you…” And then, somehow, they were both standing in front of the group, Jericho and Riley at the front. The two barely had time to react to the reapers presence, before he raised his scythe, and with a mighty swing he slashed both Jericho and Riley. Their blood sprayed forth to coat Astra and the reaper as their bodies slumped to the ground and painted the earth in red. Only now could the fairy scream out her terror at seeing them murdered, but the carnage was far from over. Again his scythe was raised, and again he brought it down on another student, this time petro. The scene repeated itself again and again until the ground was littered with the corpses of students.
Well, that was a fun game, now wasn’t it? The reaper sounded quite pleased with his handiwork, while his captive shook in his grasp like a leaf in the wind. Walking back to his original victims, he let he girl fall to the ground, enjoying the small splat as she had landed in a puddle of blood. Now then, I do believe it is your turn…
Even in her petrified stupor, Astra’s head snapped back up at the reaper. “M-my turn?” She stammered
He gave a nod in return. You are a reaper are you not? These people are dead now, you must take their souls to the afterlife
She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Take…their souls? Them?! She couldn’t. There was no way she could… Astra looked up at the reaper with fearfully eyes, shaking her head violently.
Looking down at the girl, the Reaper paused for a moment before he simply sighed. Oh well…such a shame… He then lifted his hands, and with a flick of his wrist he summoned a small staff…a very familiar oak staff.
Astra had a very good idea of what he planned to do with it. “oh….god…please…..no”
He lifted the object with both hands, and then threw it up through the air, scythe at the ready……
“NOOO!”
… And cut the oak staff in two with one feel slash
The blood curdling scream that tore through Astras throat was amazingly loud for someone so small. But it was understandable, even if it was all an illusion. A reaper’s weapon could be considered part of one’s soul, so when her staff was destroyed, it felt like her own soul had been cut in half. She then collapsed on the ground, her body twitching and jerking uncontrollably. But her torture was not over yet, there was one more card the reaper had to play.
The ground beneath her began to shake. An earthquake? No…this felt different…. With barely any strength left in her, she looked up to see the mangled corpse of Jericho towering over her, a murderous look in his eyes as he mouth spewed both blood and fire. In a second, he had transformed to his natural dragon form, and she had to crane her neck in order to see his face.
“You stole my dice, biatch”
I hole you enjoyed my game, little pixie was the last thing Astra heard when her world was consumed in fire.
To anyone who may have seen the fairy being separated from the group, they would of noticed her odd actions, first calling for help, then screaming, then knelling to the ground and shivering, before a sudden blood curdling scream tore through her and she collapsed to the ground. Shortly after, another scream came from the girl, before she finally laid still.
((she's...just unconcious..and will proably be so for a while BD wink )

'It's more than nothing. You came and found me, you and Elizabeth.' Arachne bestowed Petro with one of her rare, genuine smiles, trying to ignore the whispering voice that was still causing her to shiver.
'I won't forget it.' she looked around as he slowed, seeing that they were slowly coming together again. But still no Sepheran. She squeezed Petro on the arm, and gently slid from his hold, coming to a wobbly halt on the ground.
'I'll be okay now. I hope Sepheran is too.' she looked at her empty hand, not quite believing that a phantom voice had caused her to let go of the boil, she'd wanted to stay with him. He was..a beginning, and she didn't want him to find his end out here in this Jack forsaken place.

Charlie had been completely lost in the fog for quite some time and now. In stead of getting thinner as time went by it almost seemed to the pink haired demon that the fog was actually getting thicker.
Maybe out of tiredness of being alone or maybe it was from the pure lack of caring anymore, Charlie fell over and laid there spread eagle.
"No more walking.. Im done... Im done..." The demon murmured. No more wandering in thick fog and no more being lost. Just when Charlie thought he'd give up and roll over til some one was kind enough to bring him something to snack on he heard a voice.
Charlie.. Charlie...........
"Huh?" Charlie looked up expecting to see room service but only found more fog. Feeling defeated still the demon laid back down. "Hmphhhh I'll take a chili dog please..." He said weakly.
