Watching her pull out her phone, he sighed. He hadn't wanted to tell her so soon. "An attendant called a few minutes ago." before she could speak, he raised a hand with one finger extended, asking her to wait until he was finished. "They narrowed down the search area for your tail." he paused, his hand dropping his hand. "I did not want you to worry. I texted Adney, and he is tightening the Sight on it, but it is not easy when he has never seen it and only has a description to go on." carefully watching her reaction, he reaches up to comb his fingers through his long bangs and hold them from his face. "I only answered it because I feared it may be important, and you had yet to returned."

Mizuki looked at Pyry. She even stopped once he mentioned her tail. She didn't want her tail to be found. She would have to go back to Atlantis. She wanted to stay and teach the children more. She didn't know when she would be able to come back to Reeds. "Well even if they find my tail I can always ask my father to continue teaching. I'm sure he just wants me to appear in public. He wants to so the mermaids that I'm still around."

Gauging her reaction, he is relieved that she doesn't seem mad. He shakes his head, however, at her statement. "They will not find it before I do." he responds, his tone completely serious. He wasn't competitive, that much was true, but his partner in crime was. Adney would be damned if he lost a treasure hunt to anyone, and had been keeping an eye out for a precious pink object found in the sea for a while now.

Mizuki smiled and grabbed Pyry's hand. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if she found her tail. "Maybe It'll be a good thing if my tail was found. I mean I could as father to let me finish this school year and go back for the summer then come back to Reed's in the fall and be with you still." The girl commented not knowing the other detail of her father's wishes. Mizuki notice an jewelry shop and looked at the front display. She was looking at the crown that was being removed from the case. "That crown is really cheap looking. I'm lucky at my wedding I can wear a really nice one."

Allowing himself to be lead about the mall, Pyry remains silent on the matter of her tail... and the wedding. He eyed the crown in question, and seemed almost amused at her comment. "It looks quite expensive to me... though I know very little about jewelry." he responds, noting the price tag. That was cheap? That was about what he made in a year, and he had thought he was doing quite well for himself. Then again, he came from a place where there was no such thing as money and, even when he had first come to the human world, he'd barely been getting by. So to him, that crown looked quite expensive.

Mizuki giggled. Maybe that was true. She was a princess and didn't have to work if she really wanted to. "Well you just have to remember that royalty often give gifts of the finest to each other. My father is planning on what to give the third princess of the Western Woods as an engagement present. I told him to get her so me really nice ball-dancing clothes because she likes to dance." The mermaid commented. She of course knew other royals and knew who's the who at Reeds as well.

Nodding in response to her small story, he smiles faintly. "I am not the best of dancers." he responds, turning his back on the jewelry store window. "And I am afraid I do not know much of royalty either." he adds after a moment of thought. All he really knew of royalty was what he had seen in movies, though he knew that this didn't mean it was definitely true.

Mizuki giggled a little. She would have to introduce her to some people that she knew. She was sure he would get along with Lillie. The mermaid princess wanted at least approval from one other princess that she wasn't related to. "Don't worry too much about it. Most royals understand that the average-Joe doesn't know a lot about being royal." Mizuki commented.

Smiling faintly, Rye shakes his head gently. "But I am not quite an Average Joe." he points out, hands in his pockets now. "Where I am from, we have no such thing as royalty.... or expensive shiny things." he points out, pausing to think a moment. "But I do believe we have dancing... just not for the same reasons or in the same manner." he did remember dancing of sorts, though it was much less defined and for far more spiritual meanings. Turning his full attention back Mizuki, his head tilts slightly to the left. "So it appears that I am a Less Than Average Joe."

Mizuki blush and bit as a smile started to climb up her face. She had a clever little comment for her boyfriend."You're right. You aren't very average." She agreed with him. She stopped and turned on her heels to look at him. "After all you're dating a princess who just happens to have millions of teenage fan girls." She joked. She still firmly held Pyry's hand.

"I think that makes me more lucky than unaverage." he wasn't sure if unaverage was a word, but his grasp of English wasn't exactly the best; he still did not understand contractions or idioms. Especially not idioms... those just didn't make sense. Animals falling from the sky? That was silly. And since when did people have parades, and how was he raining on them? Pushing those thoughts aside, he turns his attention back to the woman holding his hand. "Not that it matters to me that you are royal or have fangirls." and it didn't. Nor did it bother him; Mizuki could have been just a dance teacher for all he cared, and it wouldn't change anything. After all, he still wasn't totally sure what the point of royalty was, though the fans were a bit of an odd thing. Glancing about the mall, he ignores the people staring and instead examined the shops and such around them.

Mizuki let out a giggle. He said that they didn't bother him for now. Wait till she had one stalking both of them. She wouldn't be surprise if she turned around and found one right now taking up the rear and he said it didn't bother him that she was a princess yet he didn't seemed to like the idea of her going back to Atlantis. She notice Pyry looking around the mall at the shops. "If you find something you like tell me and we can go in." She told him.

Turning back to Mizuki, he simply shook his head. "I was just looking around... I have never really been in a mall this big before." he tells her, smiling sheepishly. Most of the time, he and the Sols had gotten their clothes from small department stores or thrift shops. But this place... it had so many stores, nice ones, and it was so open. It was odd, especially with all the little carts selling and advertising various things. "Where would you like to go?" he asks, ignoring the person he could sense standing right behind them. He didn't mind the fans much at all until they got too close, setting off the senses so finely tuned from living in a bad part of a big city.

Mizuki thought about the places she would go. She doubt that he would want to go to places like bath and body works. "Well I sometimes if I'm not in clothing store then I go to the candy shop or a restaurant. I also go into the stores that sell board games, music or electronics." She answered as she pushed out a few places that she went to. She didn't really have any hobbies outside of singing, dancing and music.

Nodding in acknowledgement of these choices, he turns slightly to scan their surroundings. "How about there?" he asks, raising his free hand to point at a small music store across the central area. It didn't appear to have many instruments, the majority of the floor space dedicated to shelves full of CDs, music players, and the occasional listening station. It looked interesting, and he had always wondered about MP3 players. Adney's birthday was coming up, after all, and he knew that the red head had broken his CD player last week. Maybe an MP3 player would be a better idea than another CD player? He'd heard they were far more convenient. He could always ask Mizuki's opinion, as she would probably know more about the little pieces of technology than he did.
