LOL that's okay, and yea once I get my work schedule down I'll have a greater understanding on when we can get this shindig started.
Alright dear, lets just get the things we can get down, down so we dont wait until last minute. Theme. Any idea? Traditional or what?
I'd say more traditional I guess, don't really know any other types of weddings.
O.o your going to London?
If I graduate this month Its a 85% chance. if not, ill have to wait until next year
surprised I thought you were going to Harry Potter World over the summer?
I'm going to HP world the upcoming feb. break smile haha it's so far away but still. But that's awesome if you're going to london, Aludra! I hope you have a great time

Mkay so I read the part of the wedding and I ******** loved it. Heres what I was thinking for the theme. A traditional wizard wedding but with a modern cultural twist. In the book they had the wedding and reception on the same day. Since its custom for Aludra's mother's culture to have two days of celebration, I think we should seperate the Wedding and the Reception. The Wedding will be at your house and the reception will be at mine since it is a high class mansion accompanied with pool, hottub, house elves, and gran ballroom. ;D *feels rich* Anyway, as for the color scheme of the wedding itself. Reading the book it seems that white, gold, and purple and all colors associated with a wizarding wedding. Do you agree with those colors or would you like to change them or what? I figured the reception would just be a formal fun thing (with wedding elegance still in the mix) with a spread of foods and fine music for all to enjoy and celebrate the marriage, of course it would be blacktieish.

Those plans sound good. Wedding at my place then reception at yours. Colors let's see, since I own white and gold items that works for me. Maybe I can find a way to get in some purple too.
You dont have to add purple 3nodding But it would be nice haha. So white and gold work nicely, and purple can be one of the down tone colors. Perfect! As for decorations and stuff we'll stick to the weddiing in the second book. It can be in your houses back yard with rows of golden chairs along either side of a purple carpet underneath a marquee. White and gold flowers will be arranged on the supporting poles. The spot where they will be married will have an enormous bunch of pale gold and white balloons above it. Does that sound ok? And in the book it says when guy in the book married them he... "waved his wand high over the heads of Bill and Fleur and a shower of silver stars fell upon them, spiraling around their now entwined figures." I want that in the wedding as well. So whomever we get to priest this NEEDS to have that. Also the balloons as mention above will burst so that golden bells and birds of paradise floated out of them to add their songs and chimes. Then thats the end of the wedding ceremony! :3 Of course we'll have a little social after the wedding, like congradulations and all that. Then the next day we have the reception where they are formally introduced as husband and wife. Then i can throw the flowers to the girls and you can take off my garter with your teeth and throw it to the boys ;D Sounds good so far? the reception would have the same theme as the wedding.
