Lance smirked. (First time for anything but emotionless.) "You're lucky you're entertaining. I might just keep you alive for a while."

"Teleportation magic. Yet yours is different, it's faster and you don't have to do anything to use it. I'm going to have fun with you." Lance walked three steps forward. "Do you know what Mahou is?"

"Mahou is the mystical power found in only a few special people. You know, like you or me. It's what gives us our magical abilities. The more you have, the better the chances you have of becoming a full-fledged mage. Understand?"

"Well technically it all resides in your brain. Anyway, it's a recessive trait, which comes from a family member, one of your parents might've had it, or a grandparent, or hell, even one of your great-great-great-great-great grandparents. You can give someone your Mahou by going through a ritual and thus giving up your magical life, it hasn't been done that many times. The thing is, it can even be taken away by killing another person with Mahou in them."

"Yes. You see Mahou contains everything about you, every spell you've used. every chant you've ever chanted and of course your experiences. This is actually how Mages were made over three-thousand years ago. They would train people with any sign of Mahou and then after ten grueling years of training, they would have them have magical duels...to the death, until there were only two left, the two mages would then train under a master for another twenty years and then fight to the death, then the true apprentice would train for another couple of years, varying from student to student, until they were ready to kill there master. They continued this method for quite a while, almost making someone strong enough to tear apart the universe."

He watched as the cut instantly healed. "The Mahou is extremely high, which means your body will heal quite a bit before someone can do something like kill you. Well, unless they hit your brain or your heart. You know, there's actually a couple different types of magic. There's Telekinesis, which you have, it's pretty rare and hard to master, but it's very powerful. Next there's Elemental, which is one of the most common. Then there's Healing, it's pretty common to. Next there are Shifters, which are mages who can do stuff like go through time, they can also live without food and water, there's only like one out of every twenty million mages, they can pretty much go against any laws this universe holds. There's also Shape-Shifters, self-explainatory. Then there's one just as rare as Shifters. They're called Blanks, they have Mahou inside of them, but can do almost nothing, I'm one of them."

"Alright, but I've already killed two masters. So be cautious, because they both thought I was weak to, and they paid the price for it."

(By the way, I'm using logic from a new game idea I have. How do you like it so far?)
