"CHRISTOF." It was probably a surprise to hear the commanding bark come out of a demon that had so far allowed himself to be bullied, dragged, and manhandled with only a little squawking.

It might come as less of a surprise to Christof, who had heard Barth's private rehearsal for Sally (and who had put him through so many acting rehearsals). He had, as Christof had hoped, supplied the winning voice for the play's villain. And Christof bore the contract of that victory.

Claire alone would recognize the frightfully explosive tone. Barth had borrowed it from Ardenter, their father.

"STOP."

The mark on Christof's shoulder constricted with a sudden, heavy burning.

At the sudden commanding tone, the world seemed to swirl as Christof's perspective changed very quickly. This was not the Master who had forced him to do his laundry, fill out his homework for him, or clean up after him while waiting in vain for them to do something well... Master & Igorish. Suddenly, hot pain erupted in his smaller right shoulder, and before he could reach Colette, he staggered to the side, dropping the branch down in a suddenly useless right arm while the monstrous left swung up to grip the fabric just over his unseen mark. A glow was almost visible in the gloom of the evening through his shirt at the edge of his vest and he made a keening, apologetic noise as he was brought to his knees with the firey sensation of a hot iron. If Riley had tried to read his thoughts, all she would hear was a timid, weak, Y-yes Master.... and a far away look in his eyes.

So far, the debauchery of the evening brought Riley little interest. It was amusing to watch the spectacle, but it was getting rather dull and repetitive. Even Christof's antics weren't enough to keep her very interested. Only a few things could really capture Riley's thoughts fully.

Barth, and consequently Christof's reaction to his command, were most certainly now one of them.

Riley instinctively stood up when she saw Christof drop, her eyes widening for a moment, before slitting thin and dangerous. They flickered from Barth, to Christof, and back again. She knew instantly what had occurred, and a conflict of interests began.

She had never truly been impressed with Barth's lazy, carefree attitude. Her impression of him painfully changed in an instant, and though she never would have expected it, Barth had suddenly become a threat. Her heart clenched, before beating rapidly as the adrenaline pumped through her. Instinct was firing her up to bring Barth down, simply due to his show of domination. She stood there, rigid, holding herself back. Naked or not, her primevil urge to attack Barth simply to assert dominance was threatening to break free.

Nevertheless, she moved forward, her eyes absolutely trained on Barth, while she bent to help Christof back up. She wouldn't look away for an instant, even as she wrapped an arm around the igor and tried to get him back to his seat.

The rules of this game had just changed.

Holly was quite sure no one else qualified to be 'girl who seems to like foxes.' "Holly, I am a fox actually. And I'll take Dare. More fun that way right?" Anyways, what kind of truths could they even ask? She certainly didn't have any secrets.

Too preoccupied with Dasher to notice, Colette was pretty much defenseless and unaware of what Christof was attempting. She actually just assumed the growling was more flailing and anger from the prior situation, so it wasn't until Barth's startling tone had caused her to turn her head that she saw the patchwork.

The Reaper had caught the last seconds of his attempt and it caused her to squeeze Dasher close and shut her eyes. It was imminent, and she braced for pain. Only at the lack of a blow did she open them and glance at the dazed and kneeling patchwork. She didn't know what happened exactly, but she was relieved and probably wouldn't question it too much.

As Riley moved to help Christof, Colette decided it was best to go back to her seat and hurried towards Barth. She wouldn't be letting Dasher go off again.

She couldn't tell if it was Dasher or her, but someone was shaking. Hopefully it was him, because she didn't exactly want to look like a mess sitting next to boil that just saved her quite a bit of pain. She curled up next to Barth and held the still invisible and slumping Dasher tight, quietly squeaking out, "Thank you."

Colette didn't know why Christof had actually listened to Barth, and so she assumed it was the terrible tone he had used that did it. It was very much a surprise to her; in fact, she didn't even know Barth could speak in such a tone. He always seemed relaxed. Or at least so tired he didn't want to do anything.

The Envy demon was perplexed whens he said she was a fox and he rubbed his cheek sheepishly. "Forgive me my confusion, Miss Holly, my mistake." It was hard playing games with so many people he just didn't know. Her dare made him mentally face palm but he kept that to himself as much as possible. No one needed to know that he had absolutely no clue what to make her do!

After all, he couldn't very well ask her anything like the previous dares. It was a bit uncouth to his way of thinking and wouldn't sit well with him in the least. But it had to be something interesting! Think, brain, think! Finally, he got an idea and he smirked as he glanced over at his fellow avarice, Claire. "Miss Claire, would you do me the honors of helping me with this dare?" Standing, he went over to her and smiled down at her a bit. "I need you to make something rather quick for Miss Holly over here." He knew well Claire's... um... interesting cooking methods. And if nothing else, that had to be a good dare; eating her food.

"Once Miss Claire's finished, you'll need to eat her dish; regardless of what it is." There! Something that would be something 'decent'. "You're not allowed to drink anything to wash it out either."

Claire looked up from her hands.
What could of made Barth talk like her dad? Of course, Claire hadn't been paying attention, but Barth's voice was very, very loud.
Looking up at him, she noticed that the same ghoul who he had sucked face kissed was sitting next to him. She thought it was just a dare. Her eyes widened and she simple sat there, staring at the ghoul. It was rude, but Claire really couldn't help herself. She stared.
And stared.
And stared.

She suddenly heard her name. It was Livi, the envy demon.
"Me?" she vaguely wondered why all her dares had to do with food. "OK, I'm pretty good at cooking." Out of her bag she took some raw meat, some diced rotting pineapple and some worms. She then took out some matches and made a makeshift fire. Getting some bark off a nearby tree, she placed it on top of the fire and added the meat, the pineapple and the worms. She gave it a stir with her finger and waited until it was nicely burnt. Her stomach licked its lips.
She passed the bark with the strange meaty substance to Livi
"Here you go!" She looked genuinely proud of herself.

It was really the only thing he could think of that didn't involve kissing or undressing and he really didn't know Holly well enough to make her do something like that. And Claire was known for quick cooking, so it was another reason why he had asked her assist. "Thank you kindly, my dear." Smiling gently, though he was flinching on the inside, he took the bark from her and looked it over. "You've outdone yourself again!" Though.. he wouldn't eat it.

Taking in a deep breath, he turned and brought it over to Holly, offering it to her with a small bow and a smirk on his lips. "Your snack, miss."

She shrugged. Of course no one would really know her name. Holly was very new to the school and this was her attempt at meeting people. Though really who goes to games like this to meet others? She sighed and thought her dare was pretty weak. At least it didn't have to do with kissing. The food thing wasn't a big deal with her being a ghost. Though it wouldn't make her sick, the taste would last a bit. Too bad she couldn't faze out some here.

Holly watched Claire 'cook.' How ... interesting. She took the bowl from Livi. "Thanks, this looks great Claire." She'd be nice to the girl who made it, she sounded really proud of it. Holly brought the bowl up to her lips and took a gulp of the mixture. "Yeah, this is really something." Being the easiest thing to think of she quickly ate the rest down. Not too bad luckily. Would have been much worse for someone who had organs and such. "Now I'll be tasting burnt pineapple for days!"

Barth had not moved at all, still slumping with Colette's coat over his shoulders.

His eyes, however, were attentive. Until Christof dropped. There was a lot of staring going on, but Barth didn't feel inclined to return any of it. Instead, he found a tree in the distance that seemed very interesting, as if someone else had halted the Igor.

He cleared his throat.

"Wasn't any trouble," he said to Colette.

Claire was so happy that the fox girl liked it! She ate it so quickly! Her eyes lit up in delight.
"I can give you the recipe if you like. I might send it to the chef. So everyone can have some!" She smiled at the thought.

Then she got back to staring at Barth's ghoulfriend.

Maritess had given Amrita an approving smile, her chest puffed in pride because the vetala had taken her suggestion. Which wasn't to say that Calder's or Livi's weren't any less valid but still! Someone not related to her had listened to her and it was an ego boost!

She didn't realize it was Livi's turn to issue a dare or a question (not having been around to learn of the order). She found his dare both relieving and curious. Until she saw what it was Claire had produced. Thank Jack that hadn't been her.

And that's when things got way interesting.

The only thing that could have made this infinitely less nerve wracking was if everything that had occurred been viewed through a skelevision screen. But since it hadn't, Maritess had to stifle the squeal of utter, utter enjoyment. There was so much drama! Christoff's attempt to maul a minipet (which, in Tess' opinion, deserved disciplinary action, or corporal punishment, whichever was more convenient) combined with the show of domination from the demon boil and then from Riley, it was more than enough entertainment to spawn conversation-fodder between her and her mother and childhood friends for weeks!

But because this was happening right in front of her, and the tone the demon boil had taken made her stomach clench (yes, she had one despite looking the contrary), Tess seemed to shrink against Lizzy for comfort. While she wasn't directly involved in the conflict, she couldn't help but be wary of becoming collateral damage.

"Sh-should we give them more space?" she asked of the spider demon, then the vetala, then whoever else that wasn't Riley or Barth or Christoff or Colette. (Because she was in no way going to directly address any of the parties causing this otherwise intensely interesting spectacle.)

Ren had been enjoying himself so far. It had been a rather interesting night - if not a little, ah, exotic - to say the least. He had made several new acquaintances, two lovely new friends that were seated on either side of him, and had seen some pretty amazing stunts pulled. Overall it had been fun, an air of lighthearted mischief in the little clearing where they all sat.

That is, until the whole thing with the Reindeer, the sloth demon, the patchwork, and that one ghoul with the red headband. Half of the crowd was looking at the somewhat loud goings-on in that particular little group, while the other half was watching the new dare. The tension was suddenly thick - too thick. Ren's fingers tightened involuntarily around Natalia's waist, golden eyes moving towards the little group causing the ruckus.

"Yo," Ren called out, voice rising above the din, and though he was looking at the ones making the most noise, he meant to address everyone in their little gathering. "Let's just all chill, all right? We came here to have a good time and to make new friends, not to mention get a little fun in at the same time. So how's about we keep the drama outta here, okay?

"Now," he said, settling back against the tree again. "If we can all just relax..." A slow smirk crossing his features as Ren glanced over towards the dark haired girl from the first dare, handing the bottle of cider to LW as he spoke. "I think Junko's next."

Lilith had been lingering around and going mostly unnoticed while she silently watched what had been going on. Everyone was busy doing something here, something there; stripping someone here, kissing someone there. She, on the other hand, hadn't partaken in any of the wild festivities unlike a certain sloth demon seemed to be doing quite a bit of.

Out of everything that had happened for dares, Lilith thought the most interesting of them all was Bartholomew being stripped down by Carthusia, her sloth and her pride. The enjoyment of that was of course ruined when someone had given him a coat. She didn't think it suited him, not at all, but when the reaper was going to say something there was a deep sound that stopped her thoughts momentarily. Not surprised, but certainly pleased to see it, she realized it had been Bartholomew.

Smiling at the sloth just a little, she moved over to him, her arm sliding over his shoulders as she greeted him by tugging on the collar of the jacket. Leaning into the demon's neck, she softly whispered into his ear, "This," she said, tugging on the coat again, "This doesn't suit you." She found herself leaning against the back of the demon so her chest was pressed against him as she whispered into his ear again, "I didn't know you had a mark."

She didn't move away, but she moved so she was vaguely leaning against Bartholomew's back with her own now. After a moment, she turned her attention to the male gryphon and said, "I'm plenty relaxed, and fun is had."

Attention divided between comforting the swamp beast and the leech that was wriggling along the back of her neck, it took the djinn a good long moment before noticing the igor and the intent way he was watching her.. hands? Squirming ceasing immediately, the hand she'd rested on G's shoulder retreated to curl against the hollow of her throat as she regarded the boil curiously. Then, ever so slowly, a smile crept along dark lips. "Well hello." Seemed she had an admirer, or at least part of her did.

Though before she could even so much as bat an eye lash at the hunchback a reindeer jumped upon his back and attempted to eat the scarf from around his very neck! Chaos erupted immediately after, and she watched stunned as the mindflay separated the deer and the boil, and then the boil tore off at the little beasty with a branch, clearly hell bent on murdering it.

And then something even more stunning happened. Someone barked out a command that had the igor collapsed to his knees. Not just anyone either, but Barth of all people.

Effective though it was at bringing all the drama to a sudden halt, it did seem to upset Riley. Hadiyya could feel the tension rising. It rose in waves around her, and delightful little shiver ran the length of her body from toes on up to the top of her head. Lips parting in a soft gasp. Of course, what was absolutely delicious to her, was terribly bad for the situation, and what was worse, the poor hunchback looked quite shaken. "Oh dear." She knew the effects of a mark when she saw them, having given them herself.

Yaya wasted no time in joining Riley at Christof's side, and even took it upon herself to sweep the boil's hair from his brow so she could better see his face. "Are you ok? That couldn't have been pleasant, but at least you didn't bludgeon Colette's pet." Now, the marid wasn't known for craft, but that didn't mean she wasn't clever. As dark palms cradled the igor's cheeks, she'd carefully placed herself between the other two demons. Breaking the line of sight between Riley and Barth.
