"Crowded," Barth said, "since that's where everyone is heading. ...If it's deserted, I'm all for turning around."
A thought occurred to him. "What happened to Hedera?" He looked briefly behind him, but there was no way the other sloth demon would have braved all the climbing. Probably. At least not as quickly as West was. Maybe she took the island path...?

Colette frowned at the thought. Crowded places weren't very appealing to the ghoul. Being surrounded by a mass of random people made it harder to move, see, and pay attention. There was just too much to focus on. Colette sighed, "I hope it's not crowded." Being crowded also usually meant a higher chance of bumping into people. She hated randomly touching strangers, it just felt so awkward.
She thought and clung to some hope, they were obviously behind after getting sent to the start again. "I bet everyone else is already there anyway." Maybe if she was lucky, they would finish and be gone so she didn't have to deal with a crowd. Though, the idea of being slower than everyone else bothered her even more.
At the mention of the name, Colette blinked and tried to remember who Hedera was. She had forgotten someone, again, and felt equally ashamed. The ghoul stalled for a moment before answering, "Uh.. I don't know where they are."
She herself had been on the Icy Path for quite awhile, certainly this person would have caught up by now. Colette shrugged, "Probably went another way?"

"Other sloth demon," Barth provided helpfully. "Sort of sleepy. Turned into a plant-thing after the train crash."
Maybe she hadn't even continued onward. Maybe she had stayed in the infirmary. Maybe she was a better avarice demon than he was. Why had he gotten on the train at all?
Although he usually avoided other sloth demons, he should probably talk to Hedera. To learn from her.

"Oh.." Colette stared out the ground, trying to form a clear image in her mind, but who was she kidding? The image was no where near clear.
The Reaper assumed by the hints Barth gave as to who the person was, it was easy to tell she had forgotten a fellow Krumm; and this embarrassed her. She mentally pouted, I probably look like an a**. For shame.

"H-hello," Tsetsiliya replied when Barth greeted her. She was caught off guard when Alwine bounded over and thanked her for the sash. "I-It was nothing! You are seeing it very much used." She smiled at the headless ghoul and allowed herself to be lead up towards the others. Again, she was surprised when Belladonna offered to carry her skirts, but she thought it best to decline, even if the waterlogged fur and material was rather heavy.
"Thank you for offering, but I can I think handle them." The poludnica smiled and grasped the material in her gnarled hands. She didn't want to place the burden on any but herself, especially her friends.
Friends. After everything they had gone through together, that gave them sort of a situational friendship, didn't it? She could call them that now, she thought with satisfaction.
She stayed close to Alwine and Belladonna, listening at the conversation between the group members. A familiar name bubbled up - familiar enough to conjure a vague, fuzzy image in her mind - she added her two pumpkin seeds into the conversation. She hadn't seen the girl (if she was thinking of the right one, anyway - Jack knows she was horrible with retaining names and faces right off the bat) in quite a while.
"I-I believe she was also behind when we were at Candycane Lane.." Tsetsiliya scratched her cheek, trying to remember. The most that came back to her from their descent to Candycane Lane was the fruitless battle. "She is at the infirmary p-probably.. or was starting there. Perhaps on another path, yes?"

Jamais blinked, "Actually I wouldn't mind deserted as long as it's not Mr. JingleBerry that we run into again." She said with a chuckle.
Actually she'd probably be maused. She nudged Basil, "So Pizza, I'll buy, when we get back?" Jamais was still cold but she was trying to think of warmer things.
Her wings twitched, the injured one making her wince again as she frowned.

((Sorry for being so behind, been sick/still sick but I think it worked in Rain's favor as she's still here. XD ))
Everyone else had moved on to Christmas Town but Rain had stayed behind. She was excited when she got the text message that her friends were okay and had wanted to meet back up with them. Somewhere, the minutes blurred into hours and the hours into days. At least two days, it seemed. Maybe more? It was hard to keep track of time here. She had been sitting against a tree the whole time, several inches of snow had built up on her body. It was almost as if she had just shut down temporarily.
Of course that changed now that she heard their voices. Voices she recognized! She brushed the snow off and pounced in the direction they came from, nearly jumping right onto Tsetsiliya, "You guys made it!"

((No problem! I hope you feel better, being sick suuuucks.))
At the appearance of a figure landing basically right in the middle of their group, Colette looked up startled, but was instantly relieved at the sight of Rain. They had managed to find her! Or, well, she really found them; but it didn't matter to Colette. Another piece of Krumm was back and they were reunited with their loyal leader! To Colette, Rain was a truly strong character. She had limped right down the center of Candycane Lane to join Barth and her, regardless of her sever injuries, and that is something she'll probably never forget; as the same with the rest of Krumm.
"Rain!" Colette hurried closer to check on the ghoul, "How are you doing?" She gave the ghoul a look over with her eyes, searching for any abnormal injuries. Though, sometimes it was difficult to tell the difference with an undead. "You don't need any healing do you?" Colette took in that she seemed fine though, enough to be able to pounce into their vicinity, but it would be right to ask anyway.

Kilometer had subconsciously landed back upon the path LW was creating with her tail. Honestly, it was easier for him to walk on her the pouncing through the snow. Given he still had to take larger steps then usual but the snow was not nearly as high.
She remained quiet as well and he could probably figure out why; but he felt no regret for it. The only response he could have given LW for her action was the one he gave, he saw no other outcome.
They've been trudging through the icy path for quite some time now. Or at least it felt like so. They must be reaching their destination soon right? The "monsters" seemed to appear more. He can only assume that was a sign of them getting closer to wherever they were going. Every so many steps he found himself almost tripping over the lights around him. They really have been walking for a while, the tangle is loosening. He let out a sigh before LW spoke up.
What do nekomatas do? Kilometer did not quite know how to answer that. He chose to be vague like he has been up until now. "They reanimate... things.. like the dead and objects and are menaces to society. Why do you ask?"

Basil grinned and nodded at Jamais "That sounds peeerfect!" she dragged it out for emphases. "Oh, it will be so fun." Some pizza and when she gets home read a nice book in front of the fire she would just forget about all the cold from here in a matter of minutes.
She looked at Jamais and saw her wince then Basil's eyes darted to the wings, one was injured must be from that fight. Her face saddened "A-are you okay Jamie? Your wing doesn't look so good." she glanced back at the injured wing again.

"I am not in the best of shape but I've been saving my last pill. I think I am ok for now. Most everyone else already went that towards Christmas Town." She was really curious to find out what was going on over at there and more than a little antsy for some payback, but she was glad she had waited. Now she would be able to head that way with her friends. Back together again, well, almost." For the most part, Krumm car had separated but she was really happy to be reunited with Colette, Barth, Alwine and Tset again.
"Have you been here long," she asked curiously. Really, how long had she been sitting against that tree anyway.
((Rain has 8 hitpoints but still has a pill!))

"Two days on the mountain," Barth said.
He assumed that meant Christmas Town wasn't far. Which would usually be a relief to hear, but for Barth, meant the end of his free ride.
"What happened with you, anyway? How did you end up all the way over here?"

"R-Rain!" Tsetsiliya had nearly hopped out of the way (reflex after what had been experienced during this trip) but she stopped herself just in time upon seeing the student council president's face. She happily embraced the taller ghoul.
It had felt like an enormous relief when Belladonna had gotten the reply that Rain was on the Icy Path and doing relatively well, but it was even moreso when she could see their leader with her own eyes. She regarded the undead very highly, despite what her parents might have thought should she have shared the opinion with them. It was not them stuck in the mountains of a terribly JOY-filled land, after all.
"I was behind a little, but mostly we are all now very much together, yes?" She patted the accumulated snow that had fallen onto her from Rain's attack hug off her skirt, and took to dusting some of the snow from the girl herself. She took a moment to shift the wreath around in her arms to do so; since she could not help out the weakened ghoul with healing, she could at least do something. "I am hoping you have not been up here alone very long." Her hands paused as she dusted the last of the snow from Rain's clothes.

Colette frowned at the undead's condition. It certainly wasn't best at all. The Reaper tried to muster up whatever excuse she could for her worry over Rain and entering the Christmas Town, "Well, you're awfully hurt - and we're going into a joy concentrated area - I'll heal you."
Before the ghoul could try to convince her otherwise, she rang her bell for a second time, healing Rain for 7HP. It wasn't amazing, but Colette hoped it would help her. Something gave the Reaper a feeling that Christmas Town would not be easy either, it seemed like home base on the map for these joy-creatures after all.
She nodded when Barth answered Rain's question. "Which means we're probably close to the town. At least we can tackle it together though. "
